Chapter 50 - Chapter:50

"Hahaha! Everyone is frozen! This camera is really interesting!" Naruto laughed as he looked at the immobilized figures in the room, a mischievous glint flashing in his eyes. Bad ideas swirled in his head one after another. "I should draw a pig's head on stupid Sasuke's face! Hehehe!" Naruto pulled a brush out from who knows where, raising his hand to begin his masterpiece.

"You really are a naughty brat, Naruto!"

A lazy and slightly teasing voice suddenly rang out, startling Naruto mid-action. He turned around in alarm, only to see Haruto casually reclining behind the counter, watching him with an amused smile.

"Ah, boss! Why aren't you frozen?!" Naruto stammered, his grin turning awkward. Getting caught in the act was always embarrassing.

"Didn't I tell you? This camera only works on those whose chakra levels are lower than yours," Haruto replied calmly.

"But… why are Kakashi-sensei and Asuma-sensei also frozen? They're both Jōnin! Shouldn't they have more… uh, Chatora than me?!" Naruto asked in confusion.

"…" Haruto was momentarily speechless. What the hell is Chatora?!

"It's chakra," Haruto corrected him with a sigh. "And who said Jōnin always have more chakra than Genin?" He smirked, choosing not to explain further. Naruto would figure it out in due time.

With a snap of his fingers, Haruto released everyone from their frozen states.

The moment Sakura saw Kakashi on the ground, she immediately pieced together what had happened. "Naruto, you idiot! Don't mess around with such dangerous things!" Without hesitation, she delivered a thunderous slap to his head, causing him to yelp in pain. She then swiftly snatched the camera back.

Kakashi, dusting himself off, shot a glance at Naruto before shifting his gaze toward Haruto. A silent acknowledgment passed through his mind—this shopkeeper wasn't just strong; his chakra reserves were monstrous.

"Boss, what if we accidentally freeze our own teammates?" Shikamaru, ever the strategist, quickly raised a practical concern.

"It's simple—just disrupt their chakra flow," Haruto explained. "The effect is similar to a Genjutsu. If someone else injects their chakra into the affected person, or if the flow of chakra in their body is forcibly stopped, they'll be freed."

"Oh! That makes sense!" Sakura's eyes sparkled with understanding. This wasn't just a ninja tool—it was practically a large-scale immobilization jutsu!

"Forehead girl, don't ever let that idiot Naruto near the camera again!" Ino scolded angrily.

"Hmph! Mind your own business, Ino-pig!" Sakura shot back.

Haruto laughed as he watched their usual bickering unfold. At least the camera had found a reliable owner. In the future, if everything played out as it should, Sakura would inherit Tsunade's Strength of a Hundred Seal, meaning her chakra reserves would be insane.

Just imagining it—Sakura on the battlefield, camera in hand… Except for reanimated shinobi with infinite chakra, she could probably freeze entire armies with a single click.

100,000 White Zetsu? One press of the shutter, and they're all statues!

Of course, for now, none of them truly grasped how powerful this thing could be. They simply saw it as a fun gadget.

"Boss, do you have any other good stuff?!" Sakura asked excitedly, looking at the remaining glowing orbs of light.

Haruto chuckled inwardly. Alright, time to introduce the… brick.

With an air of ceremony, he reached into the golden light and slowly pulled out… a brick. His expression was dead serious, as if he were revealing some divine treasure.

The moment the others saw Haruto's solemn face, everyone held their breath.

This had to be something incredible.

Their gazes locked onto the item in his hands, tension thick in the air.

Sakura was so nervous that her teeth were chattering, her mind racing with excitement.

However—

There were two people in the room who weren't fooled.

Shikamaru and Kakashi.

After experiencing Haruto's antics with the Shadow-Shadow Fruit, their trust in his so-called "great treasures" had plummeted to rock bottom.

Seeing that same serious expression on Haruto's face again, the two had only one thought.

"This boss is messing with us again!"

And sure enough—

When Haruto fully revealed the object in his hands…

It was…

A brick.

"Ah, isn't this just a brick?!" Naruto blurted out.

Haruto shot him a sharp glare. "You lack vision, Naruto!" His voice was cold and disappointed.

"How could something from my golden egg shop be just an ordinary brick?!"

"…How dare you say that with a straight face!" Shikamaru and Kakashi both deadpanned, resisting the urge to roll their eyes.

"Boss, what's so special about this brick?" Chōji asked, genuinely curious.

Haruto nodded approvingly. "Good question!" He held up the brick. "Look at its shape—is it not perfectly square?"

The group nodded woodenly, still unsure where he was going with this.

"This may look ordinary, but in reality, it's a rare and powerful weapon!" Haruto declared.

"Look at its size—perfectly designed to be wielded with one hand! A taijutsu ninja's secret weapon!"

"If you smash it into someone's face, instant knockout!"

"If you aim the edge at the back of the head, the impact power is 1.5 times stronger!"

"If you slam it down hard using the corner, the force doubles!"

"If you suddenly pull this out during a battle, your enemy will be so shocked, they won't even know how to react!"

Haruto's voice was so serious, so convincing, that for a moment…

Even the dumbest among them almost believed him.

"Ohh, I see now!" Naruto's eyes lit up as he grabbed the brick, testing its weight.

"Also," Haruto continued, "after infusing it with chakra, this brick won't break, no matter how much you use it!"

"Sakura, you're incredibly strong. With this brick, you'll be unstoppable in close combat!" Haruto said, looking at her seriously.

Meanwhile, Shikamaru and Kakashi both had the same unimpressed expression.

"This boss is full of nonsense."

"I've never met anyone more ridiculous in my life."

Sakura stared at the brick in deep thought, undecided on how to react.

Haruto, watching her carefully, prayed silently.

"Please… believe me."

Sakura's luck had been terrible today. Out of nine prizes, seven were trash. Only the Polaroid Camera and Silkworm Gloves had real value.

If he didn't hype up this brick enough, she might lose trust in the shop entirely!

And he couldn't afford to lose a paying customer!
