"You know… I think this brick really is perfect for me!" she said cheerfully.
With newfound confidence, she grabbed the brick and tried to store it in her ninja tool bag—only to realize it wouldn't fit. In the end, she was forced to hold it in her hand.
Meanwhile, Shikamaru and Kakashi couldn't hide the black lines forming on their foreheads.
"Women are so gullible…"
"Alright! Let's move on to the next item!" Haruto quickly changed the subject, thrilled that Sakura actually bought into his nonsense.
"This next thing is incredible!" he said, his tone full of mystery.
Kakashi and Shikamaru exchanged skeptical looks.
"Oh no. Not this again…"
But their wariness eased when Haruto revealed the glowing silken gloves.
"It… doesn't look like trash this time," Shikamaru muttered.
"Wow! These gloves are beautiful!" Sakura exclaimed in surprise.
Haruto nodded. "Of course! These are Silkworm Gloves, woven from the finest natural silk. They're smooth, shiny, and extremely durable—practically impervious to water and fire. A rare treasure!"
"Wait, they make you immune to Fire and Water Style jutsu?" Naruto asked, eyes widening.
"Against low-level jutsu? Yes! You won't even need to dodge—just wave your hand and dispel them!"
The group let out awed gasps.
Bare-handed jutsu deflection? That sounded insanely powerful.
"And that's not all!" Haruto continued. "Because silkworm silk is highly conductive, any ninjutsu cast while wearing these will receive a 10% power boost!"
"That's amazing!" Sakura immediately put on the gloves, marveling at their cool, smooth texture.
"The boss was right—these gloves are extraordinary!" She admired them, flexing her fingers.
"Well, those were the only good things in your draws," Haruto added bluntly, reaching into the remaining light spheres.
He pulled out four more blue essences.
Shikamaru let out a knowing sigh.
"Of course. The rest was just trash."
No wonder Haruto had hyped up the brick so much—he was trying to make up for the lack of real rewards.
"Haha!" Shikamaru laughed quietly. He had already figured out the shopkeeper's tricks.
"Alright, now that you're done smashing eggs, let's go!" Kakashi suddenly announced.
Originally, he had planned a survival drill for the morning, but Naruto had insisted on stopping by the Golden Egg Shop—and since Kakashi had been curious about it, he had allowed the detour.
Now, though, it was almost noon.
The three Genin had been so caught up in egg-smashing that they hadn't even eaten yet—the perfect excuse for some intense training.
Kakashi's eyes landed on Naruto, and a sinister smirk crept onto his face.
"You're going to regret this, Naruto…"
He turned and walked toward the door.
"Wait, already?!" Naruto groaned. "I wanted to see what Chōji and the others would get!"
"Haha!" Haruto smirked as he watched Kakashi leave.
"Enjoy your first real beating, Naruto!"
If there weren't other customers waiting, Haruto would've loved to follow them and watch.
Clearing his throat, he turned back to the remaining customers.
"Ahem! Who's next?"
"I am!" Kiba stepped forward, clutching a fistful of ryo.
"Three golden eggs—no need for change!"
Haruto grinned. "Boss, you're so generous!" He placed three golden eggs on the counter.
Kiba clasped the hammer in both hands, muttering under his breath.
"&%¥%... Great Dog Spirit, bless me with luck…!"
Ino raised an eyebrow. "Kiba, didn't the boss already say the prizes are completely random? No matter how much you pray, it won't make a difference."
"Not necessarily!" Kiba grinned. "If I show enough sincerity, maybe a divine blessing will make my rewards better!"
"Woof!" Akamaru barked in agreement, wagging his tail.
After finishing his prayers, Kiba slammed the hammer down, shattering all three eggs at once.

Akamaru, now dizzy, flopped onto the floor, refusing to move.
"Boss, boss! Explain everything quickly!" Kiba said eagerly, rubbing his hands together.
