Chapter 132: The Magical Panda - The Third Clone
"Shi... Aimin?"
Black Widow's big eyes showed a hint of confusion.
"Yes, Shi Aimin."
George's tone was firm.
Changing Captain America's name on his new identity documents was to prevent him from being recognized in the future and to avoid unnecessary trouble for the school.
After all, someone who looked exactly like Captain America and had the same name would undoubtedly raise suspicions.
This decision was also agreed upon by Steve himself, as he wanted to start a new life under a new identity.
"Hello, my name is Shi Aimin."
Captain America extended his right hand to Black Widow.
"Hello, Natasha."
Black Widow looked at Captain America, still full of doubt.
If she had encountered someone who looked so much like Captain America in a normal setting, she might not have been too suspicious.
But this person was at George's school, a new teacher, and, most importantly, had no prior identity records. This made it impossible for her not to be suspicious.
"Take some time to consider my offer. The school's doors are always open to you."
After taking photos and filling out the necessary documents, George didn't forget to extend another invitation to Black Widow as he saw her off.
Captain America's addition brought a new teacher to the school, and that very night, Professor X found a new student for George.
"Jessica Campbell, ten years old.
While on a trip to Disneyland, she and her younger brother were arguing in the back seat, causing her father, who was driving, to lose focus. Their car collided with a military truck carrying radioactive chemicals.
She was the only survivor and was hospitalized, remaining in a coma for several months. When she woke up, she gained superhuman strength and the ability to fly.
She is now adopted by the Jones family and goes by the name Jessica Jones.
I've observed her for a few days and think she's a good fit for our school."
"Professor, if you think she's suitable, then let's enroll her."
Professor X had decades of experience recruiting mutant children. Whether it was judging character or convincing parents to send their children to the school, he was far more experienced than George.
So, George decided to leave the recruitment of students entirely to the Professor. He would focus more on studying and mastering magic.
Now that the Professor's assets had been recovered, and the government, S.H.I.E.L.D., and Hydra wouldn't be causing trouble for the time being, the school had gained a capable and intelligent teacher.
There was no need for George to do much more.
After discussing the future recruitment criteria and process with Professor X, George returned to his dorm as usual to prepare for bed.
By now, he could effortlessly control three bodies simultaneously without any lag, thanks to his growing psychic powers.
After taking a shower and lying down, George closed his eyes, only to feel a familiar splitting sensation.
Clearly, he was about to split into a new clone.
Sure enough, after the soul-rending pain, a new perspective appeared before him.
At the same time, a six-year-long memory of a monotonous and repetitive life flashed through his mind.
Drinking milk, sleeping, eating bamboo, climbing trees, basking in the sun—day after day, it was almost the same routine.
"Damn, last time it was a magic cat, and now it's a giant panda. Can't it ever be a human?"
At the Bronx Zoo in New York, George looked around and couldn't help but complain internally.
Yes, this time, his soul had attached itself to an adult panda that had died unexpectedly.
This panda was located at the Bronx Zoo in New York.
"Well, a panda is still a panda. At least it has decent physical strength."
Although pandas look cute and cuddly, they're not cats—they're bears, belonging to the category of fierce animals. They have incredible bite force and were once known as "iron-eating beasts."
A normal adult panda can weigh between 300 to 400 pounds, with a bite force of nearly 300 pounds, slightly less than that of lions and tigers. However, their teeth are sharper, and a full-force swipe from their paw can deliver a force of up to 3,200 pounds.
A panda named Huzi, released back into the wild, once shattered a wolf's spine with a single swipe.
Each of George's clones could share physical strength enhancements, so now, whether it was his Marvel main body, his Harry Potter world clone, or his Fairy Tail world clone, they all gained the strength of a panda.
And this new panda clone also inherited the bloodline, magic, and strength enhancements from the other bodies.
"It seems I'll need to learn transformation magic from Mirajane when I have the time."
Waving his bear paw, George thought to himself.
A panda's body wasn't exactly convenient for moving around in the human world. If he were to escape the zoo and appear on the streets, he'd likely be surrounded and blocked by curious onlookers.
Transformation magic existed in the Fairy Tail world, and Mirajane was particularly skilled at it. She could even perform partial transformations, such as turning only her head into Happy's head.
However, transformation magic only changed one's appearance. It didn't grant the user the powerful abilities of the creature they transformed into. That would be reception magic, not transformation magic.
For example, Elfman, the muscular guy from the guild, excelled in reception magic. He could absorb the beasts and monsters he defeated, transforming into them to fight.
"Let's get out of here first!"
After getting used to his new clone, he stood upright and walked to the iron gate of his enclosure. Waving his bear paw, he began to cast a spell:
"Alohomora!"
Under the effect of the Unlocking Charm, the large lock on the gate clicked open.
Since this clone didn't have a wand yet, he had to continue using hand gestures to cast spells.
Pushing open the gate, he stepped into the open-air area where he usually roamed. A magic circle flashed behind him, and a pair of snow-white wings appeared on his back.
Flapping his wings, he quickly ascended and flew toward downtown New York.
The panda's memories were all about eating and sleeping, with no valuable information. His top priority now was to figure out what kind of world this was.
Since this was a new clone, he was certain this wasn't an ordinary world.
Based on his previous two clones, he speculated that this world must have some form of superhuman power, and there was a high chance magic existed.
So, he decided to explore downtown New York to see if he could find any relevant clues.
"A bear... a panda... it's flying!!!"
Meanwhile, a young security guard patrolling the zoo dropped his flashlight in shock as he watched George fly away from the panda enclosure.
After a while, he rubbed his eyes and muttered to himself:
"I must've been taking too much stuff lately. I'm hallucinating. Pandas can't fly. No way, absolutely no way."
Not long after, he looked at the empty panda enclosure and felt like the sky was falling.
