Chapter 11 – The Gathering at the Capital

Around the capital, many lesser gods gathered, hoping to observe the geniuses entering the Secret Realm. However, due to the high demand, the merchants controlling access had set strict limitations on who could watch. The Merchant Guild of the 70th Heaven had already prepared a grand arena with a massive mirror that projected the events within the Secret Realm. But this mirror could only be seen from inside the arena—those outside had no means of viewing it.

Some among the crowd found this restriction unfair and began causing trouble. Yet, before they could even touch the arena's perimeter, they were instantly reduced to ashes. The terrifying display of power served as a warning, and order was swiftly restored. Fear of suffering the same fate kept the onlookers obedient, their previous complaints now swallowed by silence.

On a luxurious floating platform above the capital, a girl with long blue hair and ruby-like eyes frowned in irritation.

"Father, why lower ourselves to this insignificant realm? There's nothing of value here. Why bother descending to the 18th Heaven, where mere ants crawl?" Her voice carried undisguised frustration and disdain.

Beside her stood a middle-aged man, his blue hair matching his daughter's. His expression remained solemn as he replied, "I was also skeptical at first. But Her Majesty, the Domain Head of the 70th Heaven, has foreseen something through her divinity. She believes that the reincarnation of the Demon Emperor will appear here."

His daughter's eyes widened in shock.

"The Demon Emperor? The nemesis of the entire God Realm—the one who once brought fear even to the powerhouses of the 70th Heaven? If not for the intervention of the 80th Heaven, he might have destroyed countless domains! Are you saying… that he will return?"

Her father nodded gravely. "That is what has been foretold."

A shiver ran down the girl's spine. Even if it sounded impossible, she couldn't ignore the prophecy. If the Domain Head had spoken, then it must be true.

"Worry not," her father reassured her. "We have prepared an artifact capable of detecting the Demon Emperor's reincarnation. Once we find him, he will be eliminated."

Hearing this, the girl nodded and dropped the matter. Their mission was clear. For now, they would act as merchants, concealing their true purpose while luring out their target.

Meanwhile, at the entrance to the Secret Realm, a long line of participants stretched across the capital. Among them was a red-haired boy in ordinary clothes, his expression one of arrogance and confidence. He was a young lesser god, eager for the opportunities within the Secret Realm.

"Heh… look at this crowd. So many geniuses gathered in one place…"  The boy's lips curled into a sinister grin. "If I harvest their life forces, it'll be more than enough to advance to the Inferno Realm."

His eyes swept across the 10,000 gathered geniuses, viewing them not as rivals, but as prey. However, he kept his desires hidden, suppressing his aura carefully. After all, the merchants of the 70th Heaven had descended—he couldn't afford to be reckless.

Just as he was planning his next move, a soft, hesitant voice called out to him.

"W-Wutian… you're here too?"

He turned, surprised to see a beautiful green-haired girl standing nearby. She fidgeted shyly, unable to speak easily around others. Yet, with Wutian, she felt comfortable.

"Rea?" Wutian blinked, then instantly reached out, pulling her to his side.

"Kyaa!"

The genius practitioners in the crowd frowned at the scene, their gazes filled with displeasure and envy.

"Tch. Shameless. Bringing a woman into the Secret Realm? He's not taking this seriously at all."

"This brat… I want to smash his face inside the Secret Realm!"

A muscular young man clenched his fists, his irritation clear. Many others glared at Wutian, their anger barely restrained.

Yet, Wutian only grinned smugly.

Hah! Look at these fools. They don't even know how to enjoy life. Having Rea by my side is only the beginning. There will be many more in the future…

Still holding Rea close, Wutian sneered at the crowd and said mockingly, "What? Jealous? If you want a woman, go rent one. No need to get mad at me, hahaha!"

His words poured fuel on the fire. The entire crowd seethed with rage, but no one dared attack him here. Rules were absolute—causing a disturbance in the line could lead to severe punishment.

Thus, they suppressed their fury, vowing to teach Wutian a lesson inside the Secret Realm.

Wutian chuckled darkly, fully aware of their thoughts.

Good. The angrier they are, the more powerful my harvest will be.

As he held Rea protectively, he began formulating his plan. He had already assumed that some hidden artifact would monitor the Secret Realm, but that didn't matter. He would outmaneuver them all.

Meanwhile, high above the capital, a flying boat soared through the sky, bearing the emblem of the Domain Head's family—a luminous crescent moon.

"The Domain Head's emblem! We must bow!"

The moment the boat was recognized, thousands of people fell to their knees, lowering their heads in reverence and gratitude. The Domain Head was their protector, and this was the natural order.

Inside the flying boat, Ella stirred from her sleep. At the same time, Olivia's eyes fluttered open.

A surge of power flooded their bodies.

BOOM!

A deep concussive force erupted, splitting the air with an invisible surge. Black and white auras—Abyssal Darkness and Pure Moonlight—swirled around them, enveloping the entire flying boat.

The kneeling crowd trembled in shock. Even the middle-aged butler was stunned.

"This…! The Twin Daughters of the Domain Head have grown even stronger! This power… no mere Primal Nexus cultivator could compare! Even Inferno Realm Gods would pale before them!"

Suddenly, the space around the flying boat distorted—a dimensional rift cracked open. A woman emerged from the void—Yula, the twins' mother.

Sensing their power, her expression changed.

"This is beyond common sense."

Normally, a supreme genius would take at least 100 years to reach the peak of the Primal Nexus Realm. But her daughters had done it in just one month.

"…Unbelievable."

Yula quickly sealed the flying boat with a spatial barrier, ensuring that no prying eyes could see inside.

Turning to the butler, she ordered coldly, "Tell the lesser gods below that it was merely an artifact's activation. Disperse them."

The butler hurriedly obeyed.

As the capital slowly returned to order, Yula stared at her daughters in silent awe.

"Their power… has truly defied all logic."
