"Who hurt you? Who did this to you?" He asked, his voice low.
"I really can't figure you out. What is the anger for? That I'm hurt? Or is it because someone dared to hurt what belongs to you." My voice was calm despite the anger burning inside of me. "Mrs Gulf." I scoffed, the title tasting bitter in my mouth.
He didn't answer me. I turned my head away from him. "Please leave. I want to be alone."
I felt the weight of the bed shift as Christian stood up. The sound of the door creaked softly as it closed behind him.
The next morning when I woke up, I felt worse than I did yesterday. I wanted to go to the bathroom, but the moment I stood up, the memories from yesterday came crashing down on me. The weight in my chest doubled, and I found myself struggling to breathe. My vision blurred and a sharp ache pierced through my head. I stumbled back to my bed and sat down.
