"A naturally evil Digimon—so what if I kill it?"
Kurata smirked, showing zero regard for a Digimon's life.
Forget Digimon—he barely cared about human lives either, aside from his own.
To him, Spencer Damon's rage was utterly ridiculous.
"Kurata, you don't understand Digimon at all…" Spencer clenched his fist.
What happened ten years ago was an unfortunate accident—not worth arguing over.
But five years ago, if it weren't for Kurata, humanity and the Digital World could have coexisted in peace.
He could have retired, returned to his family…
But because Kurata started slaughtering Digimon, Spencer had to put his own life on the line just to buy humanity some time—leading to his five-year imprisonment by Yggdrasil.
Everything was Kurata's fault!
Spencer gritted his teeth. "I'm taking you to Yggdrasil to face judgment!"
"Yggdrasil? What the hell is that?" Kurata sneered.
He had no clue what Yggdrasil was, nor did he care to know.
Probably just some fancy place name.
"No one judges me! Sei, take care of them."
As soon as Kurata gave the order, Biomeric Megadramon attacked.
His right arm transformed into a massive metallic spear, crackling with golden electricity.
"Giga Kill Gun!"
This weapon could rival Crimson Gallantmon's Holy Lance Gram—its power was unquestionable.
"Hmph…"
BanchouLeomon's eyes sharpened as he stood his ground, drawing his signature short sword.
"Shishirououzan!"
This short sword, Otoko Damashii, looked massive for a human, but for a Digimon his size, it was indeed just a short sword.
Its blade was covered in battle scars, proving its history of countless fights.
CLANG!
Blade met spear.
The clash rang through the battlefield.
At first glance, the difference between the two was staggering.
Biomeric Megadramon was gigantic—more than ten times the size of BanchouLeomon.
His Giga Kill Gun was massive, while BanchouLeomon's sword looked like a fruit knife in comparison.
From size to weaponry, everything seemed to favor Megadramon.
Yet the outcome…
BanchouLeomon remained unmoved—while Megadramon was sent flying backward, crashing more than ten meters away!
"What?!"
Kurata's eyes widened in disbelief.
How the hell did an "ant" push back a "titan"?!
"This… This is impossible!"
"You little bastard!"
Biomeric Megadramon was furious.
Being overpowered by a "smaller" opponent?
Unacceptable.
With rage boiling, he opened his jaws, dark energy oozing from his mouth, forming a massive black energy sphere.
"Dark Roar!"
A forbidden technique, capable of destroying anything in its path.
"Die, you bastard!"
The black sphere shot forward at lightning speed.
But BanchouLeomon's gaze remained calm.
Instead of dodging, he sheathed his sword—
And threw a punch.
"Flash Banchou Punch!"
Golden energy ignited around his fist—like a cannonball, he launched it forward.
He struck the bottom of the energy sphere with pinpoint precision—knocking it into the sky.
BOOM!
A massive explosion lit up the heavens, forming a burning black fireball that sent shockwaves across the battlefield.
The wind roared, carrying dust and debris.
Yet BanchouLeomon simply stood there, his back against the glowing sky, his golden eyes unwavering.
A true warrior.
"Impossible!" Biomeric Megadramon staggered in shock.
His ultimate attack—neutralized in seconds?!
"You're too inexperienced, brat."
Fighting isn't just about throwing big attacks.
BanchouLeomon seized the moment—closing the distance in a blink.
Before Megadramon could react—
Another Flash Banchou Punch smashed into his chest, sending him flying hundreds of meters away.
Meanwhile, Spencer strode toward Kurata step by step.
"Kurata—surrender!"
Seeing his ultimate warrior beaten to the ground, Kurata stumbled back in terror.
Cold sweat dripped down his forehead.
"You… Y-you… Stay back!"
Spencer ignored him—closing in without hesitation.
Kurata felt his heart drop.
But then—
He smirked.
"Why are you smiling?" Spencer narrowed his eyes.
Kurata chuckled. "You remember the Time-Space Shock Bombs, right?"
Spencer's steps halted.
Of course he remembered.
Ten years ago, his expedition team had used them to escape the Digital World.
But those bombs were ancient, unstable technology—they severely damaged the barrier between worlds.
That's why DATS replaced them with their modern digital teleportation devices.
Kurata's confidence returned.
He smirked like an absolute bastard.
"You see, Spencer… I've been detonating those bombs around Tokyo for years now."
Spencer's eyes widened.
For years…?
That meant—
Tokyo's dimensional barrier… was already falling apart!
Kurata sneered.
"If I set off one more large-scale explosion, what do you think will happen?"
He answered his own question—
"The barrier will shatter completely—and the two worlds will collide."
"Eight billion humans—and every Digimon here—all erased from existence!"
Spencer's fist clenched.
BanchouLeomon's brow furrowed.
"Kurata, you… you're insane!" Spencer roared.
"HAHAHAHA!" Kurata burst into laughter.
The more panicked Spencer looked, the happier he was.
"You think I want to destroy the world?" Kurata grinned. "I'm no doomsday villain."
"But Spencer—YOU forced me into this!"
"What?!"
Kurata scoffed.
"If the worlds collide—it's your fault!"
"You'll go down in history as the biggest criminal ever—the man who destroyed two worlds!"
Spencer froze.
Sure, Kurata's logic was absolute bullshit—but at this moment, he had no way to argue.
Because if Kurata really detonated those bombs…
There would be nothing left.
Kurata's grin widened.
"Spencer Damon… you don't want to be a criminal, do you?"
Spencer said nothing.
Of course he didn't want the world to be destroyed.
But right now…
What could he even say?
SLAP!
Kurata suddenly backhanded Spencer across the face—knocking him backward.
"SPENCER!"
BanchouLeomon roared in anger.
"Where are you looking?!"
Biomeric Megadramon struck with full force—
BanchouLeomon, momentarily distracted, barely blocked it in time—but the impact sent him flying.
