Chapter 59 - Chapter 59: The Underground Vampire Empire

"Wait, Frank. Were you talking about vampires? You said these guys were vampires!" Jason suddenly realized what Frank had just said.

The people imprisoned in the warehouse are food for the vampires, and these guys can't be killed no matter how hard you try, which just fits the characteristics of vampires.

Vampires are magical creatures that cannot be measured by scientific standards. Killing them requires special weapons, otherwise even if their heads are cut off, they will still grow a new head.

This is a very annoying creature, and they cannot be classified as humans. In fact, whether they are mutants or people with special abilities, they are still human beings in essence.

But vampires are a completely different kind of creature. Although they are covered in human skin and have similar living habits to humans, they are the natural enemies of humans.

Vampires prey on humans for food, and the relationship between humans and vampires is like that of hunter and prey.

For a long time, humans were in a passive and disadvantaged state. It was not until the explosive growth of modern science that humans began to be able to contain vampires.

"That's right, these three guys are vampires!" Frank kicked the white man hard again, then answered Jason's question.

"Wait a minute, man, aren't vampires just legends? Shouldn't that be a story only in the Bible?" Peter was a little confused. He had never known that there were such things as vampires in this world.

He had only seen vampires on TV and in novels, but this was the first time he had seen one in person. This made Peter a little confused.

Jason was actually a little confused, as he really didn't remember there being vampires in the Marvel world. "Could it be the world of Blade?" Jason guessed secretly.

After all, Blade is also a character in the Marvel world. Although Blade does not seem to be mentioned in other Marvel movies, since the Punisher has appeared, it is not surprising that Blade will appear.

"These guys are vampires. They look very powerful, and it seems like they can't be killed no matter what. But you just have to master the method, like this." Frank answered Peter's words and pulled out a silver knife from his waist.

This knife looks different from ordinary tactical daggers. It has not been blackened as ordinary daggers would to prevent reflection and expose the target.

It looks more like the luxurious silver tableware in high-end Western restaurants, glowing with an elegant silver-white color under the moonlight.

Seeing the knife Frank took out, the two men who had been fearless suddenly became nervous.

"They saw us guys and got scared." Frank's tone seemed to be mocking the two vampires' outward strength but inner weakness.

"If you want to kill a vampire, you can't rely on ordinary weapons. You must use a high concentration of garlic essence, or strong ultraviolet light. The intensity of ultraviolet light must be at least the intensity of sunlight emitted when the earth is closest to the sun in a year."

While gesturing with his dagger, Frank explained to Jason and Peter how to hurt vampires.

"The intensity of ultraviolet rays at night, or the intensity of sunlight in winter when the weather is not very good, is unlikely to cause sufficient damage to vampires." Frank said as he began to use his silver dagger to gently cut a wound on a vampire.

The wound immediately emitted billowing black gas, as if it had been burned by a red-hot iron.

"Ah~ah!" The man who had been silent no matter how much damage he had received, now screamed in pain like a cat whose tail had been stepped on.

"There are also weapons made of mithril, which can also cause enough damage to vampires and make them suffer excruciating pain. However, mithril weapons must directly hit the vampire's vital parts, such as the heart or the head, to ensure that the vampire is killed directly."

Frank's vampire experiment teaching is very vivid and Frank prefers to use actions to teach others how to deal with vampires.

"For example, like this!" As soon as Frank finished speaking, the mithril dagger directly pierced into the head of a vampire.

The attacked vampire let out a sharp, helpless wail like some animal before its death. This sound reminded Jason of the sound of those dirty rats being trampled to death in the sewers.

The mithril dagger was inserted into the vampire's brain, just like connecting an electric current to a light bulb. The entire vampire began to glow red.

It starts from the injured brain first, and then the red light extends along the direction of the human blood vessels to the entire body, until the red light covers the entire body of the vampire.

When the light reached its peak, the vampire began to expand like a balloon that was fully inflated, and then the balloon could not hold so much air and burst.

This vampire also exploded like a balloon that was inflated. The explosion did not form a shock wave as expected, but simply decayed in the air.

The vampire's body turned into ash and was blown away by the wind between heaven and earth, leaving no trace of it.

This way of death was extremely visually impactful to Jason and Peter, and it also made them realize that this thing was really a vampire and not a human.

Peter had not really liked Frank's outright killings before, but he didn't mind killing vampires.

His uncle and aunt were both Christians, and Peter was also influenced by Christianity. It was written in the Bible that vampires are an evil species.

Moreover, there are various horror legends about vampires in the traditional culture of Europe and the United States, not to mention the women and children I just saw in the warehouse. Frank said that they are all food for vampires.

What is the final fate of vampires' food? Peter can guess it even with his big toe. So Peter has no mercy on vampires.

"If you meet a bad guy, you can choose to punish him or hand him over to the police. Because they are still human beings, but if you encounter evil vampires, then your only choice is to kill them, the sooner the better!" Frank put away the dagger and said to Peter.

"Frank, have you dealt with vampires before?" Jason's knowledge of the Punisher only came from the video game character he played in his childhood, but he didn't know much about the Punisher's past, so he asked.

"Yes, I used to work for the U.S. government. We fought some fierce battles with vampires back then. We made them sign a ceasefire agreement and barely maintained the peace." Frank stared at the other vampire with a fierce look, which made the vampire's scalp tingle.

"Human society regularly provides a portion of blood to vampires in exchange for an agreement that the Vampire Empire will stop doing evil. This is why our blood bank is always insufficient. Because the free blood donations from ordinary people are used to feed vampires!"

"Wait! You mean the government knows that there are vampires in this world! And it signed a bullshit armistice agreement with them!" Peter felt bad when he thought about the fact that his free blood donation was used as food for vampires.
