SCENE 1 – The Crime Scene (Marine Drive, Mumbai – 3:00 AM)
The rhythmic crashing of waves against the rocks echoes through the silent night. The streetlights flicker, casting eerie shadows. A police siren wails in the distance as a few officers cordon off an area near the railing of Marine Drive. A woman's lifeless body lies sprawled on the pavement, partially illuminated by the flashing red and blue lights.
A man in a security uniform, pale and shaken, talks to a constable.
Security Guard (nervous, voice trembling):
"I–I was patrolling when I saw her… She was just lying there… not moving!"
A.C.P. Sulaiman Qazi arrives in his white SUV. His piercing eyes scan the scene as he steps out, his presence immediately commanding respect. Behind him, Inspector Imran Wani adjusts his glasses, taking in the details methodically. Constable Aryan rushes up to them.
Constable Aryan (saluting):
"Sir, the victim is identified as Anjali Mehta, 32 years old, a teacher at Sunbeam High School. No signs of struggle, no witnesses."
ACP Qazi (sternly):
"Where's the forensic team?"
Constable Aryan:
"On their way, sir!"
Inspector Imran kneels beside the body, carefully observing. The victim's left hand tightly clutches a torn piece of paper. Blood has seeped into the pavement, forming a dark outline beneath her head.
Inspector Imran (thoughtfully):
"No signs of robbery… No jewelry missing… This doesn't look like a random attack."
Just then, the forensic team arrives, led by Dr. Rhea Kapoor. She adjusts her gloves and kneels beside the body.
Dr. Rhea:
"Lividity suggests she's been dead for about an hour. Cause of death—blunt force trauma to the head. But the real question is… why is she clutching this paper so tightly?"
A gloved hand carefully pries the paper from the victim's grip. It's the torn corner of a notebook page, stained with blood. Only one word is visible:
"PRINCIPAL."
ACP Qazi (narrowing his eyes):
"Looks like this murder is linked to her workplace. Let's find out what secrets this school is hiding."
The camera slowly zooms in on the bloodstained paper as the screen fades to black.

SCENE 2 – Sunbeam High School (Next Morning – 10:00 AM)
Sunbeam High School is bustling with students. The morning assembly has just ended, and teachers gather in the staff room, murmuring about the shocking news of Anjali's death. A tense atmosphere lingers as the Black Squad enters the school.
They meet Principal Alok Khanna, a stout man in his late 50s with a nervous demeanor. He forces a weak smile as he shakes hands with ACP Qazi.
Principal Khanna (forcing a smile):
"Officers, such an unfortunate tragedy… Anjali was a brilliant teacher. We're all devastated."
ACP Qazi (coldly):
"I'm sure you are. But let's get straight to the point—when was the last time you saw Anjali Mehta?"
Principal Khanna (fidgeting):
"Yesterday, around 5 PM. She was grading assignments in the staff room. Then she left. That's all I know."
Inspector Imran watches him closely, detecting his unease.
Inspector Imran:
"Did she have any conflicts with anyone? Any complaints, threats?"
Before Principal Khanna can answer, a voice interrupts.
Teacher Kavita Sharma (hesitant):
"Actually… she had a problem with a few people."
The squad turns to see Kavita Sharma, a fellow teacher. She looks visibly shaken.
ACP Qazi (firmly):
"Go on."
Kavita (lowering her voice):
"Anjali recently found out about a fake marksheet scam involving students. She planned to report it. But… she received threats, warning her to stay silent."
The tension in the room escalates. Principal Khanna shifts uncomfortably.
ACP Qazi (narrowing his eyes):
"And who exactly was behind this scam?"
Kavita hesitates, then glances at the principal. The message is clear.
ACP Qazi (coldly):
"Principal Khanna, I think we need to continue this conversation at the station."
Khanna wipes sweat from his forehead, but before he can respond, a scream echoes from the hallway. The team rushes out to find a student, Rohan Verma, trembling as he holds his phone.
Rohan (stammering):
"T-There's a video… Someone recorded Miss Anjali's murder!"
The squad gathers around as Rohan plays the video. The grainy footage shows Anjali arguing with someone near Marine Drive. A shadowy figure raises a blunt object and strikes her. She collapses, and the screen goes dark.
ACP Qazi (fists clenching):
"We've got our lead. Time to hunt down a killer."
---
SCENE 3 – The Chase (Mumbai Streets – 5:00 PM)
The investigation leads the squad to a shady cyber café in a crowded market. They burst in, confronting Amit Sharma, a young hacker involved in leaking student marksheets. As they interrogate him, he suddenly makes a run for it.
*Inspector Imran and Constable Aryan sprint after him through the narrow alleys. The chase is intense—Amit knocks over fruit carts, jumps over fences, but Imran keeps up. Finally, in a daring move, Imran leaps off a parked scooter, tackling Amit onto the ground.
Inspector Imran (breathing heavily):
"Running won't help, Amit. Start talking!"
Amit, now cornered, spills the truth.
Amit (panting):
"Anjali found out that Principal Khanna and some powerful people were running this scam! She was going to expose them, so they sent… Ravi Patil to silence her!"
ACP Qazi's eyes darken at the name. Ravi Patil—a dangerous hitman with connections to Mumbai's underground crime world.
ACP Qazi (determined):
"Then it's time we pay him a visit."
---
SCENE 4 – The Final Showdown (Abandoned Warehouse – 10:00 PM)
The squad storms an abandoned warehouse where Ravi Patil is hiding. Gunshots erupt as the goons fight back. ACP Qazi takes cover behind a crate, returning fire. Inspector Imran knocks out a thug with a well-placed kick.
As the dust settles, Ravi Patil tries to escape, but ACP Qazi intercepts him, delivering a devastating punch that knocks him to the ground.
ACP Qazi (grabbing his collar):
"You thought you could escape justice?"
Ravi Patil (spitting blood):
"It doesn't matter! You can't stop them all!"
ACP Qazi smirks.
ACP Qazi:
"One criminal at a time."
The screen fades as the squad walks away, another case solved, justice served.
