Ark closed the distance between himself and the Marauder, lifting his axe high up to decimate its head but just before he could.

The other marauders had caught up and intercepted his attack, batting his axe back with shocking strength.
Due to the weight of the axe, he stumbled to the side, and the marauders took advantage of it.
Advancing like a well oiled machine, they charged forward with their curved swords, slashing and stabbing but Ark dismissed his axe to lighten himself and jumped back.
A fatal mistake.
The marauders all launched their swords into the air, just before he could land…
Ark tried to resummon his axe, but it was already too late. All three swords plunged deep into his heart, killing him right on the spot.
