Immediately Ark opened his eyes, he couldn't hold himself back. He puked out the entire contents of his belly, retching as he remembered how he had just died.
Cold sweat appeared on his face, slowly trailing down to his nose and onto the grass.
Dying was not easy, with each death it felt as though a part of him was getting ripped away, it was like he was progressively getting lost.
A pleasant breeze blew past him, making him look around.
Once again, Ark had woken up in an entirely new terrain, he turned around but he couldn't spot Silver anywhere.
Her chair was still there but she was gone.
"Up here!"
Ark raised his head up and saw Silver sitting up on the branch of a tall tree, watching him from above.
"Nine minutes! You actually lasted nine minutes!"
He sighed, he was six minutes short…
This time they were in a meadow, with multiple beautiful flowers dotting the landscape, it was a shame that this was about to become a battlefield once more.
