Chapter 13 - First Troops Created

The vast, empty field stretched before Kyle, an endless expanse under a clear, unblemished sky. He stood amidst this silent immensity, a solitary figure dwarfed by the sheer scale of the landscape. Hundreds of miles away, a shimmering silver glass castle pierced the horizon, its ethereal beauty a stark contrast to the barren surroundings.

"Uh?" Kyle murmured, his voice a mere whisper in the vast stillness. He turned his gaze towards the distant castle, a deep sigh escaping his lips. "Hey... Both of you, where am I?"

A synthesized voice echoed within his mind. {BS: Host is currently in his Kingdom... All this lands belong to you.}

"Oh... How big is it?" he asked, curiosity overriding his initial bewilderment. He began walking towards the castle, his footsteps echoing softly in the empty expanse.

{BS: Kingdom: Celestia. Land Mass (square miles): 100,000. Population: 0. Buildings: 0. Buff provided to Host: 0. Buff Provided to Troops: 0.}

Kyle halted abruptly, his brow furrowed. "I am going to build here?"

{BS: Yes Host... The system will provide you with the necessary buildings, depending on your ranks... And with the use of resources, Host can build anything.}

"Can't I use physical labor?" he asked, picturing himself and others toiling away to construct his kingdom.

{MS: That is advice when Host is building houses in the other world, but in your Kingdom... It's better to only build with the help of BS.}

"Hmm... Then what can I build at the moment?" Kyle inquired, eager to understand the possibilities before him.

{BS: Warehouses. Smelters for making Metals. Hospitals for healing Troops and wounded. Market for selling and buying. Safe house for hiding if there is invasion, possibility rate of an invasion: 0.0001%. Vault for saving your treasuries. Houses for your people. Travan for well... Your people. Mines for mining coal, gold, and jewels. Farm for planting crops. Quarry for creating stones. Factory for making woods. Cotton Mill for producing clothes. Barracks, for training your soldiers. Teleportation Rune, to help teleport you to a chosen location.}

"Wow... All these will surely cause resources, I need enough resources," Kyle observed, his mind already calculating the logistics.

{BS: Congratulations, Host completed a quest, visit your kingdom... You have been rewarded with 5,000 variety of crops... And an instant growth potion.}

{BS: Growth Potion: Can instantly make a crops grow, and be ready for harvesting.}

Kyle nodded, a flicker of satisfaction in his eyes. He stored the rewards within the system, his mind already formulating plans.

"Is the time zone different from the---"

{MS: No Host.}

"That's good. Wait." Kyle froze, a sudden wave of anxiety washing over him. "Gabriela, if she returns to the forest, that Tiger..."

He trailed off, his thoughts spiraling into a vortex of concern. How could he possibly handle a tiger that could take on a Rank 20 hunter when he was merely a Rank 4?

"I'm only a rank 4, how can I take on a rank 20?" he repeated, his voice laced with frustration.

{DING!!}

Kyle looked up at the notification screen, a smile spreading across his face. "Why am I so worked up! MS... Create five soldiers!"

{MS: Which type of soldiers host?}

{MS: Foot soldiers or Archers?}

"Hmm... Two foot soldiers and three archers," Kyle decided, his mind strategizing.

{MS: All your cottons will be exhausted, and Host will borrow MS coins from MS.}

"Borrow...? Go ahead with it," Kyle confirmed, understanding the cost.

{MS: Creating... X5.}

{MS: duration: Five minutes.}

"You've got to be kidding me!!" Kyle exclaimed, his patience wearing thin.

{MS: Be patient host, it's only five minutes and Besides, Gabriela won't return so early.}

"Yeah, she won't easily see so many cottons, or will she rob someone?" Kyle sighed, his anxiety still lingering.

"At least, the time walking to the castle will make me forget the time duration," he muttered, attempting to soothe his impatience.

[Five minutes later.]

Those five minutes had felt like an eternity to Kyle. The seasoned hunter, accustomed to enduring hours of grueling missions and battles, found himself struggling to wait for a mere five minutes.

{MS: Troops Created.}

Kyle watched as five figures materialized before him, their presence eliciting a wave of speechless surprise. They were clad in black outfits, their forms concealed from head to toe, their faces obscured like ninjas. Each was armed with a wooden bow, a quiver filled with arrows, and a rusty sword.

{MS: Congratulations, Host completed a quest, fabricate a soldier.}

{MS: Host received 3,000 MS coins.}

{MS: Ms coins used... Current amount: 0.}

"Hmm... I saw that coming, so these guys can fight Rank 10 hunters, right?" Kyle inquired, seeking clarification.

{MS: A Troop's strength is equal to a Rank 10 Hunter...}

"Does that mean, if I have five troops as of now, I can fight a Rank 50 hunter?" Kyle asked, his mind exploring the implications.

{"..."}

"Come on, answer me... This is all new to me," he insisted, his curiosity piqued.

{MS: No host... Highest, they'll be able to fight a Rank 15 hunter.}

"Hmm... What if I have 100 troops?" Kyle mused, his thoughts drifting into strategic calculations.

{We recommend Host to unlock higher stage troops... Stage one troops are good, but they have low health point and low magic resistance... So they can be easily taken down by a Rank 15 hunter.}

Kyle listened attentively, absorbing the information and nodding in understanding.

"MY KING!!"

The five figures dropped to their knees, bowing their heads in unison.

"With you guys, I can take on that fool..." Kyle declared, a surge of confidence coursing through him.

He looked up at the clear blue sky and chuckled to himself. "It seems I changed... Kyle Blade, who always moved solo, is now leading five soldiers to the battlefield..."

He sighed, a hint of nostalgia in his voice. "Let's go... We'll be back here to build the buildings and check out the castle."

He gestured towards the distant castle, its imposing silhouette framed by the vast expanse of the field. The castle was surrounded by a 10-meter-tall impenetrable wall, with a massive silver gate guarding its entrance.

"I'll be back," Kyle affirmed, his gaze fixed on the castle.

He opened his palm, revealing the golden key, and the door materialized before him. He stepped through, followed by his five newly created soldiers, disappearing from the empty field.
