Chapter 14 - Blood Tiger

WHOOOSH!

The tiger, its senses heightened, turned its head towards the sudden gust of wind. It witnessed a door materializing before it, an unexpected intrusion into its proclaimed domain. Without hesitation, it lunged towards the doorway, its primal instincts driving it forward.

Whoosh!

An arrow flew from the doorway as it opened, striking the tiger's head with a resounding thud.

BAM!

The tiger halted, shaking its head in annoyance. The arrow had caused no visible damage, its thick fur and powerful hide providing ample protection.

"Their attacks are weak... But it can keep this tiger distracted," Kyle observed, stepping through the doorway, his sword drawn.

"With my 50% reduction for damages taken, I can win," he muttered, his confidence bolstered by his defensive advantage.

The tiger shifted its gaze to the six figures emerging from the doorway, its eyes narrowing with predatory intent. A low, menacing growl rumbled from its throat.

GRRAAAAA!!

With a burst of explosive speed, the tiger charged forward, its claws tearing deep gouges into the ground as it closed the distance.

_

The command, sharp and brutal, echoed through the clearing.

"Get this fool on his knees!"

At his words, the five soldiers behind him moved with practiced efficiency, their weapons drawn and ready. Simultaneously, the two Footsoldiers, their movements swift and predatory, surged forward, the rusty edges of their swords slicing through the air.

"Now... My turn," Kyle hissed, a predatory glint in his eyes. He gripped his sword, the worn leather familiar beneath his fingers, and darted to the right, a calculated maneuver.

The imposing Blood Tiger, its massive form a testament to raw power, halted its advance, its eyes locking onto Kyle. Before the beast could unleash its devastating charge, a sharp, whistling sound pierced the air.

BAM!

An arrow, its flight true, struck the Tiger squarely in the head.

"GRRRRAAAAA!!!"

The Tiger's roar, a guttural sound of pain and rage, reverberated through the clearing. It turned its attention towards the Footsoldiers, who were now within striking distance.

Whoosh!

The first Footsoldier, his movements fluid and practiced, swung his sword, aiming for a decisive blow.

BAM!!!

The clash was brutal, a resounding impact as the Tiger's claw met the sword, the force of the collision sending the Footsoldier hurtling backwards, his body slamming into the ground with a heavy thud.

GRRRRAAAAAAAAA!!!

The Tiger's roar intensified, a primal expression of fury. It lunged towards the remaining Footsoldier, its movements a blur of muscle and ferocity.

{MS: Footsoldier received 50 damage... Total health point left: 150.}

Kyle's mind raced, calculating the situation with ruthless efficiency. "One attack, removed a whole 50 health points... I need to act quickly!"

He moved with a newfound urgency, his eyes fixed on the monstrous beast.

"MS, Defence formation, they shouldn't attack head-on," he commanded, his voice firm and decisive.

{MS: Command have been sent to the troops.}

The Footsoldiers, their movements momentarily rigid, shifted into a defensive stance.

The Tiger, its eyes burning with savage intent, roared again and launched itself towards the closest soldier, its massive paws pounding the earth.

BAM!!

The soldier, reacting with practiced precision, sidestepped the attack, retreating several meters to maintain a safe distance.

The Tiger's eyes blazed, its gaze sweeping across the clearing, settling on the five soldiers standing in formation...

...It crouched, ready to unleash another devastating assault.

'Good... This guy have one weakness, and I'm just lucky I know it... Thanks to my soldiers distracting it, I can get this close, and attack.' Kyle thought, his movements deliberate and stealthy, closing the distance between himself and the beast.

The sound of his footsteps, though faint, reached the Tiger's sensitive ears. Its ears twitched, and it began to turn, its massive head pivoting towards the source of the noise.

Before it could fully react, three arrows, each tipped with lethal points, found their mark, striking the Tiger's head in rapid succession.

GRAAAAAAAAA!!

The Tiger's roar, now laced with a piercing agony, echoed through the clearing. Its attention snapped back to the three archers, its fury reaching a fever pitch. But before it could charge, Kyle, his movements swift and silent, reached its flank. He leaped into the air, his sword raised high.

"Die!!"

He shouted, his voice ringing with determination. He descended, his weight landing squarely on the Tiger's back.

GRAAAAAAAAA!!

The ferocious beast, its body writhing in pain and rage, bucked and twisted, attempting to dislodge the human clinging to its back. It leaped from one spot to another, its movements erratic and violent.

"Stay still you bastard!!"

Kyle cussed, his grip tightening. He raised his sword, aiming it at the red gem embedded in its upper neck, and with one downward motion, he plunged it into the Tiger's gem, aiming for the vital point.

GRRAAAAAAA!!

The Tiger's roar, a final, agonizing cry, filled the air. Its massive body shuddered, then collapsed onto the ground, the earth shaking with the impact.

Kyle, still perched on its back, felt the life drain from the beast.

"This was surprisingly easy," Kyle murmured, a hint of disbelief in his voice.

He sat up, his gaze sweeping over the lifeless form of the Tiger.

"Well... Firstly, I'm an assassin... Which helped me with speed, and I'm also a knight, which increased my attacks, and most of all, I have these five and also the knowledge of how to kill a Blood Tiger," he muttered, his thoughts racing, analyzing the factors that had contributed to his victory.

He turned his gaze towards the five soldiers, their forms still rigid, their weapons at the ready.

{MS: DING!!}

{BS: DING!!}

"Oh, double gifts, what a lucky day," he chuckled to himself.
