Selene stood at the door of her office her gaze sweeping through it,the tears she had been trying to hold back since stepping into the building finally broke free, rolling silently down her cheeks.
How could she have been so stupid? How had she let Frank and Ivy win, again? She had tried so damn hard, for five years she had struggled rebuild herself, only to end up here, with everything crashing down at her feet.
