After explaining some other stuff Optimus felt a chill down his spine and he felt that "he" is back.
Optimus: now that I explained everything I fear that the decepticons will try to capture you for information you don't possess.
Jack: okay so if we see any strange vehicles we call 911.
Peter: uh dude. What's the police going to do to giant robots who are armed to the teeth?
Jack: why are guys even here?
Max: we don't have a place to stay so we're going to crash in here.
Mico: are you serious? Man I'm so jealous of you 3.
Sonia: don't be we have a racist here among the bots and his name is ratchet.
Ratchet: no idea what that means but if it's some way of saying that I'm offending you. Well I'm just stating the facts.
Sonia: I have some facts for you. tin can
Max grabbed her before she started something with ratchet.
Max: anyway. Optimus don't take this as me telling you how to do your job but unlike us these guys actually have families to go back to and you can't keep them here forever.
Optimus: I see. then Arcee you will take acompany Jack, bulkhead you're with Nico, and bumblebee will go with Ralph.
Mico: sweet the big transforming robot is with me.
Arcee just groaned at being with Jack.
Max: I don't think she likes you.
Jack: what gave you that idea?
An alarm suddenly blared up and the exorcist thought that it was a decepticon attack.
Sonia: did those cons found us already?
Ratchet: no. Calm down.
Ratchet tapped away at the computer and a helicopter was showned landing on the top of the base and a man was walking towards a hidden elevator.
Ratchet: its agent Fowler.
Jack: wait I thought me and those guys were the only ones who knew about you.
Optimus: agent Fowler is our source of outside information and he only comes when there's issues. It's better that he doesn't see you now.
That goes for you 3 also you might be stronger then normal humans but agent Fowler might not take it lightly.
Peter: whatever you say boss man. Come on.
They got down and dragged the other kids to a corner so that the agent doesn't see them.
After a while the elevator door opened and out came an black man in a suit.
Fowler: 7 wrecks 34 fender benders a three hour traffic jam and a particular note numerous reports of a speeding motorcycle of unknown making and a black and yellow custom muscle car.
Sonia: wow got to say if he was a teacher he sure we be in the top scariest.
Peter: yeah no kidding. Also Jack looks like you and Arcee caused quite a commotion.
Jack: hey I was dragged into it I didn't want too.
Max: quiet!
Fowler: so anything to get off your tin chest?prime?
Optimus: we have the situation under control agent Fowler.
Fowler: they're back aren't they?
Optimus: if you talking about the decepticons I don't think they ever left. Your planet has way too much value.
Fowler: then it's time to wake up the pentagon.
Optimus: agent Fowler I mean no offense by saying this but we are the best chance of defending your planet from the decepticons.
Fowler: says you.
There was a tensed moment but bulkhead cut off the tension.
Bulkhead: hey fleshy. Did anyone got splattered in that freeway? We know when to use force and how much to use.
He said all of this while grabbing a piece of machinery and crushing it in his grip.
Ratchet: bulkhead!! I needed that!!!
Sonia snorted at ratchet's outburst and now she knows how to trigger him if she wants to.
Optimus: enough! Military environment will only result in casualties can you actually handle multiple human casualties in your hands agent Fowler?
Fowler: than handle this matter.prime and makes sure is under the radar. Or I will.
With those last words he got onto the elevator and left.
Bulkhead: he sure has spunk for a human.
Optimus: agent Fowler is just worried for his world bulkhead as he should be.
Max: so now that the big agent is out what are you going to do?
Optimus: well aside from keeping the children safe nothing has come up on decepticons activity. But I feel that something is wrong.
Arcee: what are talking about Optimus?
Optimus: I feel. that megatron has returned.
Everyone was taken aback by that declaration.
Peter: so the big guy is here huh? Shouldn't you I don't know start looking for him?
Optimus: I'm afraid that even though I have a feeling that megatron has returned I don't know his location-
Suddenly something came up in ratchet's computer and he saw to his surprise cliffjumper's life signal was back online.
Ratchet: Optimus look at this! Cliffjumper's life signal came back online.
Optimus went to the computer and he saw that indeed cliffjumper's life signal was blaring up.
Optimus: how is that possible.
Max: who's cliff?
Ratchet: he was a fellow autobot but his signal disappeared yesterday. How is it possible that he is still alive?
Peter: maybe they faked their death to escape the decepticons I mean it's not impossible.
Ratchet: no it is impossible I have connections to every autobot's life signal in my system maybe it's just another bug blasted earth technology.
Arcee: whatever the case if there's any chance of cliff being alive I want see it myself.
Optimus: indeed. Ratchet prepare a sickbay we might need it.
The autobots were about to be a black tunnel but Mico stopped them.
Mico: hey! What can we do?
Peter: oh no absolutely not you ain't going nowhere to where their going.
Ralph: I grew with Peter those decepticons were scary.
Max: Optimus go we can go with you guys if things aren't too tensed.
Optimus nodded in agreement he did wanted to test the young exorcist but if they were going to a decepticon base it's better not risk it.
Optimus: ratchet I trust you watch them.
Ratchet looked at the four humans and groaned.
Sonia: hey I don't like seeing your ugly mug either buddy.
Ratchet pulled a lever and the tunnel was turned into a green wormhole the 3 of the kids looked at this in fascination but to the exorcist they were somewhat unphased they figured that the autobots had someway to travel fast not just on there vehicles form.
Optimus: autobots! Roll out!!
At those words the autubots transformed and drove into the wormhole and after a while it just disappeared.
Peter: dude that line was super cool.
Max: really Peter?
Peter: what? Am I wrong?
Max only rolled his eyes at his red haired friend.
Jack: what was that!?
Ratchet: I teleported them to the right coordinate via the ground bridge.
Sonia: I'm guessing that it's some sort of space teleportation.
Ratchet: it is and thankfully earth technology dispite being at a low level of tech I managed to made a suitable ground bridge.
Sonia: alright ratchet you're giving yourself way too much credit.
Ralph: I think it's amazing.
Jack: so this ground bridge allows us to go to anywhere?
Ratchet: yes anywhere in this planet.
Mico: so I can visit my parents in Tokyo with this thing?
Ratchet: yes and if you want I can take there right now.
Max: im guessing that this thing is not safe for humans to go through?
Ratchet: actually it does work for humans too and if you want to travel go right ahead.
Peter: i want to get on the action but i don't want to end up blasted in the face.
Sonia: oh it's little Pete scared of a few tin cans?
Peter: Sonia I'm not above to hitting a woman.
Max: quit it you two.
The 3 kids just watched the exorcist talking among themselves and Ralph was actually the only one who somewhat knew them.
Ralph: so max I saw you summon a giant snake and I saw Peter summon daggers out of thin air. What's up with that do you two have super powers?
Peter: we do.
Jack: are you serious?
Nico: *gasp* you two actually have superpowers!? Show me show me show me!
Jack: Nico calm down!. But how did you guys deal with those decepticons?
Max: we killed them.
The 3 looked at them with wide eyes.
Jack: you actually beat those things!?
Peter: those weren't the biggest we've dealt with.
Ralph: can you guys show us your powers?
The 3 exorcist looked at each other and Sonia and Peter just shrugged not caring if they new the truth.
Max: well the bots already know and having another few won't kill us. Come on let's go further up.
After explaining.
Jack: you three are from a different dimension!?
Max: yup.
Ralph: and where you come from spirits actually exist!?
Peter: got it in one.
Mico: and you fight against them!?
Sonia: yeah.
Mico: wow that's so cool I bet being in that world is super cool.
Sonia: no it ain't fun. People die everyday thanks to lost souls and that's not fun for anyone.
Peter: yeah and I nearly died to one.
Jack: but hold on if you guys are from another dimension then why are you here?
Max: accident.
Ralph: so you didn't mean to come here?
Max: the only reason we are getting involved is because mainly if earth is destroyed we also die too and besides even though this isn't our earth we are still going defend it.
Mico: wow that's some speech.
Ralph: so I know I asked this multiple times but what are you guys abilities.
Max explained and showed off his black arms.
Peter: summoned two clones and his daggers.
While Sonia showed her monstrous strength by arm wrestling the two boys.
After show and tell.
Jack: wow no wonder you guys said that you are more suited for this job than us.
Max: yeah we are used to fighting other big lost souls.
They heard beeps and a grunt and they saw that it was ratchet who was having trouble with the computer system.
Ratchet: blasted earth tech first cliffs signal now errors just great.
Ralph saw the problem and he took out his computer.
Ralph: I think I can help with those bugs.
While ratchet was going off on how Ralph wouldn't be able to understand the complex nature of the computer.
But as if fate was slapping him in the face the bugs went away and ratchet was silent.
Sonia: looks like the kid has some big brains in that little head of his huh ratchet?
She said all of that while having a smug smile on her face and ratchet felt like this girl is going to be a mini version of bulkhead.
Minutes passed and the bots finally contacted the base.
Optimus: ratchet! Bridge us back immediately!!
Not questioning his leader he pulled the lever and the ground bridge appeared and inside we're the autobots with a blue explosion following behind them.
Optimus thanks to him being a big truck he was slower than the others but he managed to get through and ratchet close the ground bridge so that the explosion didn't reach the base.
Ratchet: well good thing you're all safe. What about cliff?
The bots went silent and the three exorcist thought that cliff was probably found dead but unfortunately someone didn't read the room.
Mico: what was that explosion? Was there a fight? Can I come with you next-
She was cut off when Sonia slapped her across the head and she hit a little more harder since Mico was being an idiot.
Sonia: don't mind us.
The bots turned their attention to Arcee who looked shaken up.
Optimus: Arcee what happened up there?
Arcee: I I saw him it was cliff but he's long gone it was like.he was just a living corpse I don't know how to. Ugh.
Arcee felt dizzy and she fell down catching herself in some small boxes and the others were worried.
Arcee: I'm fine I'm just dizzy.
While the other kids were processing that these boys can feel emotions get dizzy and die the exorcist weren't surprised since they could tell that the robots have artificial souls.
Max walked over to arcee and he decided to ask for more details while ratchet was scanning her.
Max: Arcee you said that he was like a living corpse?
Arcee: why do you care?
Max: I care because this might be important. Optimus you told us that you had a feeling that megatron was back right? Could it be that while he was away he found something to revive the dead?
Optimus gave it some thought and max might be right since megatron has been away for an unusual amount of time and if he knows megatron he will pull anything to gain power.
Optimus: max might be right if this is what megatron has brought in his absence then this might be more trouble than I thought.
Ratchet: Arcee your hand.
Arcee looked at her hand and there was a purple liquid in her hand.
Arcee: this thing. I saw cliff leaking this but I don't know what it is.
Ratchet grabbed a scalpel and took a sample of the purple liquid to see what it was.
Ratchet: go and take a decontamination bath just in case if this thing effects you as well.
Arcee with the help of bumblebee got in the chamber and took the decontamination bath as the medical bot ordered.
Peter: hey Optimus. Where did you guy ended up?
Bulkhead: we ended up in a decepticon mining field and when getting cliff was compromised starscream came and blew up the joint with an explosive.
Sonia: I'm guessing that this starscream is like the second in command.
Bulkhead: oh please. He's got skills sure but knock him down and he runs away. But the worst part is his silver tongue.
Peter: got it so he's basically the type to throw one punch and run away to save his own hide.
Bulkhead: all in one.
Jack: Optimus. It's getting late I need to get back home or my mom will start to worry and get the cops to look for me.
The other 2 agreed with him.
Optimus: it's about that time I see. Bulkhead bumblebee Arcee go with the kids and the other 3 can come along.
Arcee: I actually I still feel a bit dizzy.
Ratchet: you're fine.
After a small trip through the ground bridge max and Arcee took jack home.
Jack: hey Arcee I just want to say that um. I'm sorry for your loss.
Arcee: what would you know about loss.
Max: hey he's sympathizing with you it's better then him being a dick about it like mico.
The sound of a car coming was heard and Arcee thought it was decepticons but max told her that it probably jack's mom.
And indeed it was his mom.
June: Jack? Where have you been!? I was worried about you!
Jack: well I just hanged out with a friend.
June: oh really and who is-
June noticed max who was watching the mother and son talking.
June: oh you seriously were with a friend? I don't think I've seen him before.
Jack: he's new. Mom this is max he saved from some bad people and he wanted to hang out.
June was a bit suspicious of max but he couldn't blame her his own mom would probably kill him for making her worried.
Max: nice to meet you ma'am I'm max McKnight you're son sure knows how to get in unique situations.
June got a peek at Arcee in her vehicle mode.
June: Jack is this your friend's bike?
Max: yeah ain't she a beaut?
June: she? It's funny how some people call vehicles their babies or she or hers.
Max: well I might have a few screws loose but it's the truth.
June got out her flip phone and she saw that it's pretty late.
June: it was nice to meet you max but I'm pretty sure you should go home.
Max: yeah.home.
Jack saw that max had a hurt look and he decided to let him just have his private moment.
Jack: come on mom I'm pretty you have work to do tomorrow we shouldn't waist any more time. See ya tomorrow max!
Max just nodded and got on Arcee and drove off but they actually went to a small alleyway to keep an eye on jack's house in case decepticons attacks.
Max: home huh? Wonder when am I and the others are going back.
Arcee: want to talk about it?
Max: yeah. Ugh keep thinking on how long we are going to be stuck in here I mean you guys are nice people but I'm worried about my own home world.
Arcee: I get it. Is your world at war with those lost souls?
Max: nah there more like pest that needed to be removed. But I'm starting to worried about what's going on in my home world like maybe years have passed and everyone I know is gone or everyone forgot about us.
Arcee: well if I know anything about being away from your home world is that if your world isn't in a war like us your world is probably has a better chance of being safer than ours.
Max: is that supposed to be your way of comforting me?
Arcee: hey like you told Jack at least I showed sympathy.
Max: oh screw off. Heh I'm kidding. Thanks Arcee.
Arcee: hey you're part of the team and you and the other two actually understand how grave the situation can get and. Sonia and ratchet that's entertaining to watch.
Max: hehe yeah. I'm going to sleep don't knock me off in my sleep.
He made a black pillow and rested his head on it and Arcee didn't knock him off and let him rest through the night.
