Episode 43: Leo's Mistake
After training, Jaden and Leo were back in the locker room.
Jaden was silent, focused. But Leo was staring at his phone.
"Hey," Leo said. "You know that number that guy gave you? The Felix Ward thing?"
Jaden looked up. "What about it?"
Leo paused. "I think I… might've called it."
Jaden stood slowly. "You what?"
Leo held up his hands. "I didn't say yes to anything! They just talked."
Jaden clenched his fists. "Leo, this isn't a game. You call them, they own you."
Leo's expression darkened. "I know. That's why I told them no."
Silence.
Then Jaden sat down, breathing hard.
The walls were closing in.
And now even the people closest to him were starting to break.
