Our character's father comes home.
**Sarah:** ****, your father is back from the store; take what you have.
Our character goes to get the things from his father.
****: Welcome, father.
John: Thanks, ****; take these.
****: OK.
Sarah: Put these on the kitchen counter.
****: OK, mom.
Our character puts the things on the counter.
Sarah: John, dinner is ready.
John: Wait, honey, I just got here; let me change first.
Sarah: OK, John.
****: Mom, I'm sitting down.
Sarah: No, wait for your dad.
****: Why? We can eat.
Sarah: Be respectful; just sit and wait.
(How ridiculous is that? Like something's gonna happen if I sit down, f*ck.)
Our character sits down at the table after his father sits down.
John: How are you, son?
****: I'm fine, dad, what about you?
John: I'm fine too.
Sarah: John, did you get your work done? What did the boss say?
John: No, I still can't figure it out.
****: Why? What happened, mom?
Sarah: Your dad's boss fired him randomly; he's just making things difficult.
John: That jerk thinks I'm not doing my job properly.
Sarah: No swearing, John.
John: How could I not? The guy is trying to fire me just because he wants to hire his nephew.
(There's still a meritocracy problem in this country; it's even spread here.)
****: There's a meritocracy problem in this country.
Sarah: Yeah, I don't know how long this country can go on like this, unfortunately.
John: The stupid government keeps accepting refugees.
Sarah: I said no swearing, John.
(My father is right; many countries are facing refugee problems. The government in Belgium fell because so many refugees came, and the countries are suffering a lot from this situation.)
Our character finishes his meal and goes to his room.
(I need to check my email.)
Our character checks his email.
(No answer.)
Our character lies down, takes sleeping pills, and falls asleep.
