After Kanae Kocho left,
Kaito Sora and Rin Tohsaka had a simple breakfast.
Then, Kaito Sora called Rin upstairs to discuss the Contract Kiss ability.
"I'm fine with it."
To Kaito Sora's surprise, Rin agreed without hesitation.
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
"I thought you'd at least hesitate a little."
"Do I have a choice?"
Rin said irritably. "If I refused, wouldn't you just throw me on the bed, bully me until I'm out of it, and then trick me into signing the contract?"
"Signing it directly or being bullied into it—I know which one's better."
Though she didn't want to admit it,
Rin felt that her current dynamic with Kaito Sora wasn't much different from being his slave. Their roles as Master and Servant had completely reversed.
Whenever they disagreed, even if she objected, the result was always the same.
She'd get bullied mercilessly.
And then she'd still have to obediently listen to him.
Besides,
Rin also wanted to become stronger.
Otherwise, she felt utterly useless as a Master. If she could share some of Kaito Sora's abilities, she could at least be of some help in battle.
Of course, Rin would never say something so embarrassing out loud.
However,
Rin had clearly underestimated Kaito Sora's lack of restraint.
Even though she agreed, Kaito Sora still thoroughly "taught her a lesson" after the contract was signed.
"Choose one."
After listening to Kaito Sora's explanation of his traits,
Rin couldn't help but ask, "What's this about Void?"
"I told you, your sister has been trying to seduce me behind your back."
"You expect me to believe that?"
Rin sneered.
Her sister was so pure, cute, and kind-hearted. She had never even held a man's hand before. Would she really sneak around and seduce Rin's man behind her back?
Rin refused to believe this lying scoundrel.
It must have been an accidental touch—no, this scumbag must have been the one trying to seduce her sister!
In the end,
Rin chose the Magic Circuit Enhancement trait.
As a traditional magus, she trusted her own abilities more than any miscellaneous powers.
"Alright."
As Kaito Sora shared the ability with her, Rin felt her magic circuits strengthen, and a look of excitement appeared on her face.
Just then,
The bedroom door was gently knocked.
"Sister,"
"I just checked the household barriers and found a few issues."
Rin immediately became serious.
"Really? I'll go take a look!"
Kaito Sora followed her to inspect the barriers. After confirming there were no major issues or signs of Servant intrusion, he wandered off to the study, turned on the computer, and started playing Counter-Strike.
Halfway through a match,
The sound of Sakura's voice came from outside the door.
"Onii-chan, are you in there?"
"Yeah."
The study door opened, and Sakura walked in.
"Is something wrong?"
Kaito Sora asked,
His eyes still glued to the screen.
With his current reflexes, playing a reaction-based shooter like this was like having a built-in aimbot. He could instantly headshot anyone he saw.
He was playing on Dust2, a map that heavily favored precise aim.
Soon, Kaito Sora, playing as a Counter-Terrorist, held A Long for six rounds, racking up an impressive 18-0-0 scoreline and leading his team to a 6-0 advantage.
Sakura walked over and stood beside him, quietly watching him play.
Suddenly, she asked, "What did you and Yuuki-nee do earlier?"
"Why do you ask?"
"Sakura wants to know. Can you tell her?"
Kaito Sora dodged a flashbang thrown from the Terrorist side, then picked up an AK-47 and instantly headshot a T who dared peek out of A Long. Without looking away from the screen, he casually replied,
"Sakura wouldn't want me telling others what we do together, right?"
There was a moment of silence.
Just as Kaito Sora pulled off a 1v4 clutch to defuse the bomb at B site, he started to wonder if he had been too harsh. Then, he felt a bump against his leg.
He looked down.
Sakura was crawling under the desk.
"Sakura?"
Sakura knelt in front of him, her hands resting on his legs as she looked up at him.
"Did Yuuki-nee do this earlier?"
Kaito Sora didn't answer. Instead, he said, "Your sister will be back soon."
"Don't worry, Onii-chan."
Sakura smiled softly.
"Sakura calculated it. With Sister's skill level, it'll take her an hour to fix the barriers."
So you're the one who sabotaged them!
Looking at Sakura's expectant eyes, Kaito Sora didn't know what to say.
He decided to focus on his game.
The sound of rustling filled the room.
Distracted by the game, Kaito Sora soon forgot about the girl under the desk and immersed himself in the intense gunfights.
When he returned to his beloved A Long,
The familiar flashbang came flying in, and he dodged it as usual.
Seeing the player named donk666, who had been relentlessly peeking A Long despite being headshot six times in a row, Kaito Sora smirked.
He aimed, lined up the shot, and fired.
After two perfect steps, just as he was about to click the left mouse button,
His hand twitched.
The crosshair veered slightly to the left, and he only managed to fire one shot.
Bang!
The enemy's Desert Eagle headshotted him instantly.
Watching his teammate at A Short also get headshot by donk666, who then rushed to CT Spawn and wiped out the rest of his team with a flawless ACE,
Kaito Sora, who had lost his beloved AK-47 that had been with him since the third round, lowered his head.
He wanted to say something,
But seeing Sakura's innocent expression,
Kaito Sora took a deep breath.
It's fine.
Only weak men blame women. A true aim god would reclaim his AK in the next round.
Bang!
Bang!
Bang!
In the end,
The score settled at 7-6.
[donk666: ?]
After being headshot six times in a row, Kaito Sora stared blankly at the screen.
Sakura looked up at him innocently.
"Onii-chan?"
This girl...
She's definitely doing this on purpose!
Normally quiet and unassuming, Sakura would always throw a flashbang whenever the enemy did, and donk666 would peek out at the perfect moment.
Their coordination was so seamless
That Kaito Sora's shots always veered slightly to the left, leaving him vulnerable to a counter-headshot.
A strong urge surged within Kaito Sora—he wanted to pin this mischievous, yet talented little demon on the desk and
Teach her a lesson.
"Onii-chan,"
"Did Sakura do something wrong?"
Looking at Sakura's pitiful expression,
Kaito Sora took a deep breath and turned back to the screen, his hand trembling slightly as he gripped the mouse.
Fine.
Screw it!
This time, I'll play as a Terrorist.
Let's see how you coordinate with their flashes now!
Then,
Bang!
Bang!
Bang!
Staring at the grayed-out screen once more,
Kaito Sora buried his face in his hands in despair.
Seriously,
Can you guys stop flashing for me at B?!
