Chapter 50 - A Final Move with the Force of a Collision!

[OMG, we totally underestimated Combusken!]

[Go Combusken! Chicken supremacy over dragons!]

[How is Combusken holding its own against a Garchomp?!]

[Shoutout to the streamer—meanwhile, that edgy "monster" in the back is all bark, no bite (lol).]

[Is this really my cute little Torchic?!]

[Sure, Combusken lost its baby charm after evolving, but gained swag!]

[Combusken's a beast!]

The chat showered praise on Combusken, oblivious to Su Feng's strategic genius. Not that he cared—his focus was entirely on the battle.

On the field, Garchomp crouched low, muscles coiled. Su Feng's eyes narrowed. "Combusken, dodge!"

The dragon lunged, speed barely trailing Combusken's. The Fire-type's body glowed white, ready to evade with Quick Attack. But Garchomp stomped the ground mid-charge, kicking up a blinding Sand Attack.

"Shit."

Su Feng's stomach dropped. Neither he nor Combusken had expected the dragon to play dirty.

"Kraaa!" Combusken staggered, eyes squeezed shut. Panic set in.

"Stay calm! Listen to me!" Su Feng barked.

Garchomp seized the moment. If speed was Combusken's edge, it'd crush that edge. A vicious Stomp slammed into Combusken's chest, sending it skidding backward. The move's secondary effect—lowering speed—combined with the Sand Attack's accuracy drop, erased Combusken's hard-earned advantage.

But Su Feng smirked. "Combusken, Double Kick."

Garchomp scoffed. With Combusken's speed reduced, there was no way—

THUD-THUD!

Two punishing kicks rocketed Garchomp airborne. It crashed, scrambling up with wide eyes. How?!

"You calculated well," Su Feng taunted. "But what if Combusken had five speed boosts?"

Garchomp's jaw dropped. Five?!

No time for explanations. Combusken, now blazingly fast, circled the dragon like a fiery comet.

"Keep using Double Kick!"

Su Feng's mind drifted mid-battle. Combusken needs more Fire moves… Maybe TM shopping later?

Two more rounds. Combusken's speed dominated, battering Garchomp relentlessly. Yet the dragon refused to fall. What's it waiting for? Su Feng scanned its movepool mentally. No threatening AoE except inaccurate Sand Tomb…

A cold gust swept the cavern.

"Combusken, GET BACK—!"

Too late. Combusken leapt for the finishing kick.

CRACK!

The blow connected, but Garchomp's body erupted in a draconic tornado—Outrage. Razor winds shredded Combusken's battered frame.

When the storm cleared, both Pokémon lay motionless.

[??? What just happened?!]

[Did they… mutually KO?]

[No survivors? Who wins??]

[Holy shit, Combusken actually pulled this off?!]

[Respect to both. And Su Feng's a legend.]

After ten tense seconds, Su Feng declared, "It's a draw!"

Carbink rushed to Garchomp's side as Su Feng sprayed Potions on both fighters. He glanced at the dragon, impressed.

"Well played. Saving a nuke for the end… Combusken barely survived your trap."
