"Every Pokémon has unique abilities. Most species have one or two, some even three—but none have four," Su Feng explained to his audience while Garchomp and Combusken rested. "Some, like Combusken, possess rare traits. Its 'Speed Boost' ability let us force a draw despite the odds."
[Brain.exe has stopped working.]
[Speed Boost = perpetual motion chicken? Physics left the chat.]
[My Torchic evolved into a math problem. Help.]
[What about Garchomp's ability? Didn't see it do much.]
Su Feng glanced at the still-unconscious Garchomp and gently brushed its scales. Smooth, not rough. "Garchomp likely has 'Sand Veil'—boosts evasion in sandstorms. But since we're underground…"
[Wait, did Garchomp just twitch?!]
Su Feng turned just as the dragon's eyelids fluttered. He scrambled back.
"Rrrgh…?" Garchomp sat up abruptly, patting its healed wounds in disbelief.
"Relax. You've only been out an hour," Su Feng said, holding up an empty Potion bottle. "Modern medicine!"
Garchomp eyed the bottle warily before noticing Combusken stirring nearby. The Fire-type sprang up, chipper as ever, and waved.
"Kraa!"
"Grr…"
The dragon nodded stiffly—respect earned through battle.
[Combusken: 1 HP = Full HP. OP pls nerf.]
[Shut up and take my money for that Potion!]
[Garchomp's acting less edgy now. Character development!]
"Battling bonds Pokémon like humans bond through… uh, team-building or dates," Su Feng quipped. "Imagine strangers spending a day at an amusement park. That's Pokémon battles for them. But always get consent!"
He paused, addressing the chat's Potion hype. "Important note: These only work on Pokémon. Humans? Go to a hospital. Don't @ me."
[RIP my dreams of becoming Wolverine.]
[Big Pharma shaking rn.]
As Su Feng stood to leave, the Carbink he'd met earlier bounced over eagerly.
"Meh! Meh-meh!"
But Garchomp blocked its path, rumbling sternly. The Carbink pouted and scurried off.
"Rrroh." The dragon jerked its head, signaling Su Feng to follow.
[Aww, Garchomp's being a overprotective dad!]
[Carbink's its baby/treasure/waifu? Pokémon relationships are wild.]
Su Feng trailed Garchomp, smirking. Whatever dynamic this was, it wasn't his business.
