[So cringey. My skin is crawling.]
[Enough with the theatrics, weirdo. Hand the camera back to the host.]
[Wait, the host's in the back seat. Who's driving??]
[Whoa, is there a special guest this time?]
Su Feng swiveled the camera toward Jin. "Yep! We've got a co-host today. Longtime viewers might recognize him."
Jin flashed a brief smile but kept his eyes on the road, waving at the camera without turning.
[He does look familiar… Can't place him.]
[Holy crap, it's that soldier from before!]
[The military guy!?]
[Since when are you buddies with a soldier, streamer?]
Su Feng slid into the passenger seat and slung an arm around Jin's shoulder. "Jin's my ride-or-die, my brother from another mother. We've been tight since we were kids!"
Jin promptly shrugged off Su Feng's arm with a look of disgust.
Su Feng: "…"
[LMAO, finally seeing the host get owned. So satisfying!]
[Seems like Jin's not buying it, hahaha!]
Unfazed, Su Feng carried on as if nothing happened. "Today's destination: the grasslands of X City! According to reports, local Pokémon have been causing issues for herders. We're here to help resolve that while introducing you to the Pokémon that call these plains home."
[Yes! I'm a herder in X City. Pokémon keep stealing my yaks' food. My poor yaks are losing weight, and some got hurt fighting them off!]
[Same here! My sheep pasture's been invaded by these pink sheep Pokémon.]
Spotting the comments, Su Feng grinned. "Don't worry. By the end of this stream, you'll know exactly what they are and how to handle them."
He tossed the drone out the car window. It stabilized mid-air, capturing sweeping views of the grasslands.
The audience erupted in awe.
Endless emerald plains stretched to the horizon, where horse-like Pokémon galloped freely. The wind rustled through the grass, creating waves that shimmered like a green ocean—a sight unimaginable to city dwellers.
Even Su Feng, well-traveled as he was, was struck speechless by the painting-like scenery.
[This is breathtaking!]
[I lack the vocabulary. Just… WOW.]
[We get to see this for days? So lucky!]
[What kind of drone is this? The detail's insane—I can see individual blades of grass!]
"Jin, park here. We'll go on foot," Su Feng said.
Jin nodded, remembering Old Chen's orders to defer to Su Feng during the stream. He pulled over in a secluded spot and draped the SUV with a protective cover designed to deter small animals.
"Let's move!"
Su Feng, blessed with Arceus-tier stamina, strode ahead effortlessly. Combusken and Haunter kept pace, while Jin—a trained soldier—handled the hike without breaking a sweat.
…
Thirty minutes later, they encountered their first Pokémon group.
"Su Feng, what's that dust cloud up ahead?" Jin asked.
Su Feng squinted. A massive plume of dust billowed in the distance—not from fire, but something stirring the earth.
"Haunter, fly up and check if those are bull-like Pokémon causing that!"
Haunter soared upward, returning moments later with a nod.
"Are there a lot of them?"
Another nod.
"Do they have afro-like manes?"
A head shake.
"Last question: Are they headed this way?"
Haunter paused, then nodded vigorously.
Su Feng: "…Shit! Jin, RUN!"
"Huh?!"
Ignoring Jin's confusion, Su Feng bolted. Jin hesitated but followed.
[What's happening? Why's he running??]
[This is new! Host never backs down from anything.]
[Unlocked: Host's secret technique—strategic retreat!]
[Is that a sandstorm? Do grasslands even have those?]
Su Feng didn't stop to explain. The answer soon became apparent.
After sprinting 300 meters, Su Feng halted, panting. "We're… clear now."
"Clear of what?" Jin asked, barely winded.
Su Feng pointed behind them. Thirty seconds later, the ground began to tremble.
"Earthquake?!" Jin exclaimed.
"Nope. Them."
A thunderous stampede erupted over the ridge. Dozens of bull-like Pokémon—larger and fiercer than yaks—charged across the plains, kicking up a dust storm as their hooves pounded the earth.
[HOLY CRAP!]
[Who'd dare stand in their way?! No wonder he ran!]
[Even a bodybuilder would get flattened by that!]
[Thank Arceus they moved. That was a close call!]
Su Feng pulled up a drone-captured image of the Pokémon and began his explainer:
"Tauros, the Wild Bull Pokémon. Normal-type. They're characterized by their lion-like mane, three stubby horns, and three tails. Only male Tauros exist, but they breed with their female counterparts, Miltank—more on those later."
"True to their name, Tauros are hyper-aggressive. They battle within herds to establish hierarchy. The leader isn't chosen by size alone—scars and broken horns are badges of honor. The alpha leads the stampede, and the others follow blindly."
"Once they start running, they don't stop. They whip their own flanks with their tails to speed up, only halting when they crash into something. These stampedes? Just their way of burning off excess energy."
