Chapter 60 - Mr. Da’s Plan—Knock Out Snorlax to Save a Day’s Food!

"Alright, I get the picture," Su Feng sighed, watching the Snorlax inhale fruit like a vacuum. Forcing it away would only bring it back later. Relocating it was pointless—it'd devour any area's food supply like a black hole.

Then, a win-win idea struck.

"Mr. Da, could you provide Snorlax with 300 kilograms of food daily?" Su Feng asked.

Mr. Da blinked. "300 kg of fruit? It's pricey, but… manageable."

"What if it guarded your family and herds in exchange?"

Mr. Da's eyes lit up. "Can it?!"

[Feng's playing Pokémon realtor again.]

[300 kg for a bodyguard? Bargain, but way beyond my budget.]

[That belly looks so squishy. Must. Pet. It.]

[You'd be the one getting squished, buddy.]

Su Feng chuckled. "Fun fact: Snorlax won't mind if you use its belly as a trampoline. It might even join the fun."

Xiao Da's eyes sparkled at the thought.

Turning back to Mr. Da, Su Feng explained, "Just strike a deal—daily food for protection. And 'food' doesn't mean fruit. Expired or near-expired snacks, grains… anything edible works. Cheaper that way."

"Deal!" Mr. Da agreed instantly. Bulk-buying discounted surplus food? Easy. The real cost would be shipping it to the grasslands.

"But mix up its diet sometimes," Su Feng added, pulling two jars of Snorlax-specific Pokéblocks from his backpack. "These are compressed meals. Three blocks a day if supplies run short."

Mr. Da squinted. "Sleeping pills? Knock it out to skip a meal day?"

Su Feng facepalmed. "They're food, not drugs. Three blocks = full day's calories."

To demonstrate, he tossed two blocks. Snorlax's nose twitched. Abandoning its fruit mountain, it lunged with wolf-like agility, snatching the blocks mid-air and gulping them down.

Instantly full, Snorlax plopped onto its back, snoring thunderously.

[That's it!?]

[Feng makes taming look so easy!]

[I'm trying this with a Rattata I befriended!]

[Wait, you already have a Pokémon!? How?!]

Su Feng smiled. "Rattata are common and approachable. Great for beginners."

Mr. Da, awestruck, shoved a bank card into Su Feng's hands. "Take this! Free yak meat for life!"

"I can't—"

"Please!" Xiao Da pleaded with puppy-dog eyes. "It's just a few yaks' worth."

Defeated, Su Feng pocketed the card. "Contact me when the Pokéblocks run out. I'll send more."
