At first, there was dark.
Then, there was dark.
It kept being dark for some time.
Quite a long time.
And then there was light!
"I LIVE!!!!!!" A young man screams on top of his lungs when he wakes up in a beautiful scenery, the vision of a landscape with mountains at a distance and a bright sunny day on the horizon, none of it noticed by his frantic gasps for air and squinted eyes.
With each breath, his heart calmed itself down and his breathing slowing down as he felt his face and got himself up, holding both his hands on his hands like he had a severe headache, which he didn't.
With sweat running in his face, he looked forward to nowhere in particular as the vibes, yes, the vibes, not the memory, of drowning after crashing the car into the river at top speed made his mind wide awake.
He looked at his arms and hands, and looked around where he was.
"Hmph." That was the only thing he managed to say, he did not thought about his situation nor questioned how he got in this place at all.
The only thing that he did was walk to no specific location, confident in his steps, or so it would be if he was not startled by a random noise that ringed into his mind.
"Hello, i am the system designed to assist you in your journey through this world, a world where magic and fantasy are reality, a place where you reincarnated as a hero."
The young man looked at the ground, licking his lips slowly while tapping his feet.
A blowing spring breeze loudly soared as the system waited for the young man to say anything, the silence being as loud as the system thought the young man would be asking to what or why.
"...do you have any questions?"
"No." He started walking with his arms swaying side side, one step left and one step right then two back, rhythmically walking forward with no regards to anything.
"Uhh, are you sure?" The system was scratching its imaginary chin for it had no physical body, because it was a floating disembodied divine blessing. Still, it had a job to do and it would do it properly!
"Just so you know, i will provide you with levels, all of which will give you a improvement at your stats and abilities, which are entirely customizable, you can have from powerful elemental spells to obliterate hordes of enemie to the most basic of cooking skills, your ideal repertoire is unlimited!"
"Cool." The young man said, and once again the silence was speaking volumes to the amount of interest he had about this whole ordeal.
The system was sulking. Even if it was a tool to be used, since it had some level of conscience the fact it was not being used or talked to about what it can do bothered it immensely, but it was outside their power to complain with that who received the blessing.
About 2 hours of walking, the young man had his feet hurting from the shoes he used so he ditched them by throwing them away as long as he could, and 4 hours later he was sitting at a large rock looking at his own reflection.
The system patiently waited for his next course of action so it could finally be used.
Of course, it's pretty obvious he will try to go fish after drinking some of the water in this little stream, and so i can give him a spear fishing technique!
"I'm going to starve to death." The young man said putting his hands up in the air parallel to his body, a smirk forming in his lips as he contained himself to not chuckle.
"Wait, wait, wait! You can't just give up like that! Didn't you hear what i've said about leveling you up!?" The system snapped back to his mind, its robotic voice failing to convey how insane the thought of a blessed one starving to death because it refused to use the system! Outrageous!
"But you didn't give me any instructions and left me all alone..." The young man finally showed some expression, his brows furrowed as he looked down on the stream again but not at his reflection, but at the pebbles and grovel inside it.
The system wished it could sigh.
"I do not leave you alone, i am with you at all times. In fact, you don't even need to speak out loud for us to communicate, we can do it mentally."
"But like this feels like im talking with a voice in my head, and that's creepy and weird! Please have a appearance so i can talk to you properly!" The young man stood up quickly, putting his hands on the air like he was asking sentient beings to borrow their energy to him.
A bright, blue colored square roughly the size of a notebook screen popped up in front of him as soon as he put his hands up.
"Is this more to your liking?"
