Chapter 15: Another One Joins
Kamishiro didn't want to fight; he just wanted to escape. But now, he was blocked by Oishi Ueyama's four earthen walls.
After being chased by Oishi Ueyama for so long, like a stubborn plaster that couldn't be shaken off, even Kamishiro, the most patient person, has reached his limits.
Just as Oishi Ueyama was about to rush through the earthen wall to attack Kamishiro, Kamishiro angrily unfurled a Scroll and placed one hand on it.
Summoning Jutsu!
A puff of smoke appeared, and Kamishiro's Kanna Puppet emerged.
Obito's eyes widened in surprise. "Is this the Summoning Jutsu? Can it summon people? And it's a super hot big sister?!"
Kakashi squinted at the Scroll in Kamishiro's hand. "That Scroll looks like a storage Scroll."
Minato Namikaze sized up Kamishiro's Kanna. "That's not a human; it's a Puppet."
Rin Nohara also exclaimed in surprise. "Such a lifelike Puppet?"
Minato Namikaze recalled what Yamanaka Syoichi had said after peeping into Kamishiro's memory. The Puppets made by Kamishiro seemed to far surpass those of the puppet masters in Sunagakure Village.
However, Minato Namikaze's first thought upon seeing Kamishiro's Puppet, Kanna, was... his teacher, Jiraiya, would probably like this type.
Minato Namikaze slapped his forehead. What was he thinking?
But regarding the Puppet Technique, Minato Namikaze actually didn't think highly of it. In fact, no one in Konoha did.
In Minato Namikaze's view, the Puppet Technique had a low lower - limit and a low upper - limit.
The lower - limit was low because as long as a ninja could use chakra threads to connect to a Puppet, they could directly control the Puppet to fight.
The upper - limit was low because for a ninja using a Puppet, it wasn't about how strong the ninja was, but how strong the Puppet was.
If the Puppet was strong, the ninja would be strong, but that was about it.
If a puppet master lost their Puppet, their strength would decline significantly.
The biggest drawback of a Puppet was that it needed to be controlled by chakra threads, and it was easy to deal with this weakness.
Due to these limitations, very few people became strong through the Puppet Technique.
So even though Yamanaka Syoichi said that the Puppets made by Kamishiro seemed to far surpass those of the puppet masters in Sunagakure Village, Minato Namikaze didn't think much of it. What he valued was Kamishiro's Magnet Release Kekkei Genkai and Magnet Ninja Art.
Kamishiro gathered chakra, and chakra threads appeared on his ten fingers and adhered to Kanna.
Kamishiro moved his ring finger.
Kanna opened her eyes, and a poisoned ninja sword with a dark green glow appeared in her right hand.
Oishi Ueyama formed hand seals and pressed his hands on the ground.
Earth Release: Earth Rising Spear!
A large number of sharp rocks emerged from the ground and charged towards Kamishiro.
Kamishiro controlled Kanna. Kanna wrapped her left arm around Kamishiro and jumped onto a tree trunk, avoiding the sharp rocks on the ground.
Then Kamishiro waved his hand forcefully. Kanna, grasping a ninja sword, dashed towards Oishi Ueyama at top speed.
Earth Release: Earth Bullet!
Oishi Ueyama used his chakra to condense earth bullets and shot them at Kanna.
Under Kamishiro's control, Kanna was extremely agile, constantly dodging the earth bullets in the air.
In an instant, Kanna was already within striking distance of Oishi Ueyama.
Kanna used the ninja sword in her hand to perform a Zangei at Oishi Ueyama.
Oishi Ueyama took out a Kunai and clashed with Kanna's ninja sword.
Kanna's body was made entirely of metal, so her strength was quite formidable.
The great force made Oishi Ueyama stagger backward several steps.
Without giving Oishi Ueyama a chance to catch his breath, Kamishiro controlled Kanna to approach the retreating Oishi Ueyama once more and perform a Zangei at him with the ninja sword.
Oishi Ueyama blocked Kanna's ninja sword with the Kunai once more.
But suddenly, a blade protruded from the tip of Kanna's right foot and she kicked upwards at Oishi Ueyama.
Oishi Ueyama was startled and quickly tilted his head back, barely dodging the attack.
As Oishi Ueyama retreated, he formed hand seals and glanced at Kamishiro, who was standing on a tree trunk not far away, controlling Kanna.
There's a common understanding when dealing with puppet masters: there's no need to fight the Puppet to the death. Once the puppet master is taken down, it's all over. The Puppet is the puppet master's main means of attack, and the puppet master's own strength is not strong.
Fire Release: Dragon Fire Technique!
Oishi Ueyama had both fire and earth chakra attributes. Although he was most proficient in earth release, he also knew a few fire release techniques.
After forming the hand seals, Oishi Ueyama spat out a straight - line stream of fire that quickly rushed towards Kamishiro.
Kanna immediately opened her mouth. There was a tube inside, and she sprayed out a powerful water jet that blocked Oishi Ueyama's flames.
This water jet was released via the Scrolls within Kanna's body.

It couldn't be compared to Sasori's Scroll: Inferno Prison of the Wrathful Formation and Scroll: Dramatic Erosion Stream Pillar, and it couldn't be maintained for long.
The water Scrolls in Kanna's body were now depleted, so she approached Oishi Ueyama again, performing rapid Zangei at him with the ninja sword in her hand.
Meanwhile, blades would pop out from Kanna's joints occasionally for sneak attacks, and a hole in the center of her chest would sometimes shoot out Kunai. These tricks caught Oishi Ueyama off - guard.
Oishi Ueyama was now sweating profusely and at a disadvantage, able only to defend.
Obito stared in shock at the aggressively attacking Kanna and exclaimed, "Whoa! This Puppet is so awesome!"
Kakashi stared intently at Kamishiro, his eyes filled with fighting spirit.
Minato Namikaze grinned and asked, "Hey, wanna have a go?"
Kakashi nodded firmly.
"Then disguise yourself and don't get exposed."
"Thank you, teacher!"
Kakashi immediately used the Transformation Technique to disguise himself as an Iwa - nin.
Kakashi used the Body Flicker Technique and disappeared from the spot.
Minato Namikaze looked at Kamishiro again.
Kamishiro's Puppet Technique was truly impressive, but Minato Namikaze was even more eager to witness Kamishiro's Magnet Ninja Art.
Kamishiro, who was carefully operating Kanna, suddenly sensed several glimmers of light approaching him.
Kamishiro stared closely and realized they were Kunai reflecting the moonlight (Gekkō).
Kamishiro immediately retreated backward to avoid the Kunai.
The next second after avoiding the Kunai, Kakashi's Tantō slashed at the spot where Kamishiro had just been standing.
If Kamishiro had dodged a bit later, he might have been hit.
Kamishiro saw another 'Iwa - nin', and he'd really been spooked just then.
Due to Kakashi's sudden attack, Kamishiro failed to control Kanna to attack Oishi Ueyama immediately, allowing Oishi Ueyama to catch his breath and keep a distance from Kanna.
Once he'd calmed down, Kamishiro flew into a rage.
"Are you guys never going to stop? I'm not some thing you can just take as you please, you assholes!"
Kamishiro moved his index finger, and a slit opened on Kanna's smooth back. A lot of Iron Sand emerged from Kanna's body and hovered in the air.
"Magnet Release: Iron Sand Shower!"
After Kamishiro made the hand seals, the Iron Sand transformed into flying stones and shot out in all directions at high speed.
Seeing a large amount of Iron Sand attacking in a wide - range like shotgun pellets, Oishi Ueyama and Kakashi simultaneously used Earth Release ninjutsu to block the Iron Sand.
Kamishiro controlled Kanna to return to his side and float behind him, with the Iron Sand surrounding his body.
Kamishiro glared angrily at Oishi Ueyama and Kakashi.
"I'm not letting you two get away with this today!"
