The loud, arrogant voice rang out, causing the people around to glance over in surprise.
Regina scowled, watching Martin ahead of her, his arms spread wide as he gazed at the setting sun. He was holding a cup of instant coffee, now lukewarm, and with a look of distaste, she muttered, "How corny."
Martin turned around, seeing the look on Regina's face, and flashed a mischievous grin. "I'm just trying to match the moment," he replied with a playful tone.
"Then should I say 'The appointment is after dusk'?" Regina quipped, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
At her words, Martin suddenly moved closer, sliding onto the bench beside her. His arm draped carelessly over the backrest of her chair, and he leaned in, his gaze becoming intense as he slowly inched closer, a hint of charm in his voice. "So, you want to make an appointment after dusk…? Hmm?"
