Light was resting with his eyes closed in the Room of Requirement. After waiting for a while, his body finally regained some Magic Power.
Dragging his tired body, Light forcefully cast the Disillusionment Charm with the recovered Magic Power and staggered back to the dormitory. After finishing his washing, he lay in bed. In a daze, he heard a conversation between Harry Potter and Ron.
But Light, too exhausted to have the motivation to get up, chose to continue sleeping.
"How was it? Did you find anything last night?" Light asked, looking exhausted as he ate his breakfast. He hadn't fully recovered from the negative effects of excessive Magic Power consumption.
"No, and we almost got caught by Snape!" Ron said, still scared.
"If Hagrid hadn't shown up suddenly with Fang and helped us out, I guess Ron and I would have been expelled." Harry Potter said with a melancholy look.
"However, Hagrid also told us that professors will be assisting with the patrols every night this week. Try not to go there." Ron said listlessly as he ate a chicken leg.
"You actually sneaked into the Forbidden Forest without telling me!" Hermione was almost furious when she heard the conversation between Light and the others.
"Calm down, Hermione! Calm down, don't be impulsive! Making noise during meals will result in point deductions!" Light comforted Hermione, who was on the verge of exploding.
"Sorry, we didn't mean to! We were just too worried about Hagrid, so we sneaked over to see him!" Harry Potter and Ron apologized guiltily simultaneously.
"Yeah! It's my fault. I shouldn't have told them about the unicorn." Light said, full of self-reproach.
"I'm not blaming you! I just hope you can tell me when you make decisions. I don't want to be left out!" Hermione's tone softened when she saw that the three of them had such a good attitude of admitting their mistakes.
"Definitely next time!" Light said, laughing it off.
"I plan to go and see Hagrid again when the professors stop patrolling!" Harry Potter told the three of them his plan.
"Me too!" Ron mumbled in agreement while chewing on a chicken leg.
"Alright then. I'll go too when the time comes." Hermione said helplessly upon seeing this.
"Do you know when Quirrell will go to assist?" Light suddenly asked.
"Professor Quirrell? It seems to be next week! Snape has been assisting these days!" Harry Potter replied to Light's question while recalling.
"Light, why are you so concerned about Quirrell? Do you suspect him?" Hermione asked, puzzled.
"I just feel there's something off about him." Light perfunctorily replied to Hermione.
"Really?" Hermione always felt that something wasn't quite right.
"Alright, don't think so much! We still have Transfiguration Class later. Professor McGonagall is very strict!" Light forcefully changed the topic.
After changing the topic, Light looked at the sumptuous breakfast but didn't have much appetite.
Letting Quirrell go to assist with the patrol, isn't that like putting a cat among the pigeons? Quirrell will definitely take action when he goes to assist! No, I have to go and talk to Hagrid in a couple of days.
After making up his mind, Light started to gobble up his breakfast! I'll rest up these few days and get ready to fight Voldemort again!
Saturday afternoon, Snape's office!
"Professor, can you teach me Spells today?"
Hearing Light's words, Snape paused in his examination of the potion, then continued what he was doing without looking up. He asked coldly, "Why do you suddenly want to practice Spells?"
"I accidentally obtained a wonderful Spell. I can't fully control it, so I want to find a professor with excellent magical attainments to guide me."
"So, Professor Snape, can you guide me?" Light asked, smiling.
"What Spell?" After finishing his work, Professor Snape looked up at Light with vacant eyes.
"A Spell invented by the Half-Blood Prince called Sectumsempra." Light pretended not to know anything and replied to Professor Snape with a relaxed look.
"Tell me in more detail!" Light could see that Professor Snape's face twitched unnaturally when he heard the words "Half-Blood Prince".
Light quickly took out the Textbooks. Professor Snape took it and started flipping through it.
Light snickered to himself. He wondered how the person would feel when they found out that their secondary school online alias had been discovered by a student and called out to their face.
"I probably know why you think you can't control it." Professor Snape roughly flipped through the book, closed it, and looked at Light.
"I've tried. The items attacked by Sectumsempra can't be restored. There's a strange force preventing them from being repaired." When Light saw Professor Snape looking over, he seriously told him all his insights.
"Can you sense that strange force?" Hearing Light's thoughts, Professor Snape crossed his left arm over his chest and tapped his lips with the bent index finger of his right hand as he started thinking deeply.
After a long while, when Light thought it was hopeless, Professor Snape suddenly said, "Come with me!" Then he left the office.
Seeing this, Light could only follow. The two quickly made their way through the castle.
Professor Snape opened the door of an abandoned classroom and walked in. Light followed.
As soon as he entered, he saw Professor Snape waving his wand. Many discarded desks and chairs floated up under Professor Snape's control and then twisted and morphed into training dummies.
"Cast the Spell on them, Sectumsempra! I want to know how proficient you are." Professor Snape put away his wand and turned to look at Light.
Light adjusted the output of his Magic Power to the lowest. "Sectumsempra!" A large gash was cut in the chest of the dummy in front of him.
"Continue!" Snape commanded coldly.
"Sectumsempra!"
"Continue!"
"Sectumsempra!"
...
"Can you adjust the output of your Magic Power?" Professor Snape asked Light in the messy classroom.
"Yes!" Light replied calmly, slightly breathless.
"No wonder you can sense that force!" Professor Snape's gaze became extremely profound.
"I know the anti-curse of this Spell, but I won't teach it to you. I'll teach you to master this force." Without giving Light the right to refuse, Professor Snape began to analyze the essence of the magic.
"A wizard's talent is innate! But it's not unchangeable. A wizard's emotions and insights into life constantly shape their own talent."
Professor Snape raised his wand, and the scattered broken pieces quickly assembled into two chairs and flew next to Professor Snape and Light.
"Goodwill towards others shapes the talent for White Magic, malice towards others shapes the talent for Dark Magic, and the yearning for oneself shapes the talent for Transfiguration."
"The essence of Transfiguration, as well as both Dark and White Magic, is an extension of emotions!"
Light sat on the chair and couldn't help nodding in agreement.
"If you can sense that power, it means you have a high Dark Magic talent, which is very dangerous. Being able to freely adjust the effects of Spells, you will become addicted to it, intoxicated by power, and become its slave." In Professor Snape's hollow eyes, there flashed a recollection of the old days.
