Chapter 46 - Chapter 46 Sectumsempra

"And also, as a professor, especially one who teaches Potions class, Snape must know the weaknesses of unicorns."

"Plus, he used to be a Death Eater. What kind of crazy thing can't he do!" Ron got more and more excited as he spoke, gesturing animatedly as he brainwashed Harry Potter.

Harry Potter, who was skeptical, also began to be convinced by Ron's wild theories.

"No, I have to go find Dumbledore!" After being thoroughly brainwashed, Harry Potter immediately demonstrated the Gryffindor trait and became impulsive.

"No way. Dumbledore trusts the professors very much. It's useless to go to him!" Before Light had a chance to stop him, Ron stopped Harry Potter first.

"Then what should we do?" Harry Potter, who was stopped, said distressedly.

"We can go straight to Hagrid. Once we dig out clues that Snape is up to no good, Dumbledore will punish him!" Ron convinced Harry Potter with his "wise" speech.

"You're right. Let's go find Hagrid now!" After saying that, Harry Potter went rummaging for the Invisibility Cloak.

"Are you going, Light?" Ron asked Light while putting on his shoes.

"No, I'll go another day! I'm a bit tired today!" Light's mouth twitched constantly as he replied, enunciating each word.

After a moment!

"Okay, let's go!" Harry Potter called Ron at the door.

Light watched speechlessly as the two of them effortlessly put on the Invisibility Cloak.

Watching the two open the door and go out, Light stood in front of the door, shrugged helplessly with both hands. 'I just wanted to borrow an owl. In the end, the owl didn't go, but its owner did. It's just so out of the blue.'

Light shook his head, turned around, took out a pen and paper! He wrote a letter and gave it to Hedwig, asking it to send it to Hagrid. Roughly it said: Harry Potter and Ron are going to visit you. Don't attack them when you see them! So as not to hit the wrong person.

Light watched Hedwig fly away. He wasn't worried about the safety of Harry Potter and Ron. A unicorn was just killed yesterday. There might be quite a few professors patrolling in the Forbidden Forest now!

As long as Voldemort and Quirrell aren't deliberately seeking death, they won't choose to act today.

'Well, I'll start acting too!'

Light picked up the disguise materials, cast the Disillusionment Charm on himself, and left the dormitory.

Like a ghost, Light started wandering around the castle after a long time.

"The notebook with Sectumsempra recorded in it, I remember it's on the old bookshelf in the sixth-year Potions classroom!" Light kept walking around the castle, and several times he almost bumped into Filch, the night watchman.

The stairs in Hogwarts change their speed and position much faster at night than during the day.

Even if you know the location of the sixth-year Potions classroom, it's still a bit hard to find.

The terrain got lower and lower as Light walked. He entered the basement. He couldn't help but feel like complaining, 'The higher the grade, the lower the Potions classroom is.'

"I think this is the place! Alohomora."

Light cast a spell to open the door lock and entered the sixth-year Potions classroom.

'As bright as day,' a clear light emanated from the wand, illuminating the entire dark classroom!

This place looks very spacious. The decoration is similar to that of the first-year classroom! There are all kinds of bottles and jars, and various strange organs are soaked in them.

Light walked around the classroom and found the cabinet where the old Textbooks were placed.

"This should be it!" Light rummaged through a few books and saw the tattered Advanced Potion-Making.

Light picked it up and casually flipped to a page. He saw that many places on it had been scribbled over, and there were also a large number of notes and annotations written.

Seeing this, Light knew that his goal for tonight had been achieved!

Putting away the old textbook, Light used Magic Power to restore the rummaged bookcase and then left the Potions classroom, carefully closing the door behind him.

After going out, Light went all the way to the eighth floor to the Room of Requirement.

"I need a magical practice room where I can read books!"

Light opened the suddenly appeared door! Behind the door was a huge training ground, with many dummies and flying discs stacked around.

Entering the room, there were desks and chairs for reading on both sides of the door.

Light first found a seat and sat down. He took out Advanced Potion-Making and began to flip through it.

Light was shocked as soon as he flipped to the first page! There were also many annotations on it that were completely different from the original content.

Looking closely, with Light's own knowledge accumulation, he fully understood the correctness of Professor Snape!

Continuing to flip through, some places on the book were blacked out and couldn't be seen clearly at all. It seemed that the person who scribbled over it disagreed very much with the content in the book.

Light carefully flipped through it until he reached the middle! He found the magic spell created by Professor Snape himself. Sectumsempra

Light easily memorized all the key points! He got up and walked to the training dummy, ready to test the power of this magic and the value of Sectumsempra.

"Sectumsempra," Light waved his wand, and Magic Power surged. No light shot out from the wand.

There was only an invisible blade that was not visible to the naked eye, quickly flying through the air.

Before Light could react, a huge gash was torn open in the chest of the wooden dummy in front of him!

Light was slightly taken aback. What a powerful lethality! After his surprise, he walked closer to the dummy and observed it.

There was an invisible force stuck in the wound inflicted by Sectumsempra.

Light used the Reparo spell to restore it, but there was no change in the dummy. He could feel that the Reparo spell had already taken effect.

Light keenly noticed that it wasn't the problem of the Reparo spell. The Reparo spell couldn't restore something that wasn't damaged.

The wound created by Sectumsempra was just like it was innate to the dummy. There was not the slightest bit of damage, so the Reparo spell was useless.

"It seems I guessed right. Professor Snape discovered a power profound enough to interfere with the soul's connection!"

"It's a pity, though. The anti-curse of Sectumsempra is still with Professor Snape. There's no way to make more inferences. But I can practice more and try to master this profound power."

Thinking of this, Light began to continue practicing Sectumsempra.

As Light kept waving his wand, countless training dummies were controlled by Accio to fly over, and then were cut to pieces! One dummy was chopped to bits every minute.

Countless scattered remains on the ground were controlled to float up and then suddenly shrink! They formed a huge sphere and floated in the air.

Light drained all his Magic Power and waved his wand!

A gigantic invisible wave sliced the huge sphere in mid-air into two halves. The cut surface was incredibly smooth.

Deprived of the support of Magic Power, the huge sphere crashed thunderously to the ground, kicking up countless clouds of dust!

In the dust, Light, with his Magic Power completely drained, flopped onto the ground. Holding his wand in his right hand, he let out a rampaging laugh!

'Hehe, hehe, hehe...' in a manic, malicious tone

After a long while, both the dust and the maniacal laughter disappeared. Light, having regained a bit of strength, struggled to his feet from the ground.

"I never expected it! It turns out that when Dark Magic reaches Rank 9, it's not merely an enhancement of talent. One can also enhance the effects of Spells by boosting the output of Magic Power."

"No wonder Headmaster Dumbledore and Voldemort can both launch large-scale area of effect attacks."
