"How do you keep running into Snape? Is it on purpose or by accident?" Light couldn't help but complain to Harry Potter.
"What do you mean, on purpose or by accident? I'm telling you that Snape is threatening Professor Quirrell. Professor Quirrell will be in danger if he goes to the Forbidden Forest. We have to tell Dumbledore or Hagrid." Harry Potter explained to Light extremely seriously.
"Quirrell is the danger itself! It'd be great if he doesn't cause trouble to others!" Suppressing his urge to complain non-stop, Light said to Harry Potter reluctantly:
"Right! Maybe we should do something!"
"See! See! Let's go to Hagrid first and then ask him to tell Dumbledore! With Hagrid as a witness, Dumbledore will surely deal with Snape!" Harry Potter confidently shared his thoughts with Light.
"Okay, okay, okay! You've got a point." Light replied perfunctorily to Harry Potter.
"Tonight, you can go talk to Hagrid with Ron and Hermione."
"Great! What about you? Aren't you coming along?" Harry Potter was first happy about Light's approval! Then he asked suspiciously.
"I won't go tonight. Four people are too big a target. The Invisibility Cloak probably can't cover four people!" Light shook his head as he watched Harry Potter being led away.
"Professor Snape is on patrol tonight. It won't be him tomorrow night. I have to go out then. I hope it's just a late-night thing! I don't have to stay up all night! It's so hard to earn some Mileage Points!" Light sighed and returned to the dormitory.
"Light, you're back!" As soon as Light entered the dormitory, he saw Harry Potter and Ron fully armed, looking like they were about to do something big.
"Are you going out now? Isn't it a bit early?" Light started to gather information.
"No, it's better to go early. Because professors usually have classes in the morning, they basically patrol in the first half of the night and rest in the second half!"
"If we go now, Snape is probably on patrol. It's not likely we'll be discovered." Harry Potter revealed all the information he knew to Light.
"And we have to go find Hermione. This is the perfect time to go!" Ron interrupted from the side.
"Alright! Then you guys go ahead!" Light glanced at the owl by the window.
"Then we're off!" After saying that, Harry Potter and Ron picked up the Invisibility Cloak and rushed out the door.
Light continued writing a letter and handed it to Hedwig. He asked her to deliver it to Hagrid.
After Light finished washing up, he plopped down on the bed and summarized the information he knew!
"If Quirrell doesn't want to be exposed, he can only act during his break. So the time he'll make a move should be in the second half of the night."
"Good news, I don't have to stay up late. Bad news, I have to stay up all night. So annoying!"
"Should I just take out Voldemort once and for all? Then there won't be so many problems and I won't have to stay up late or all night!"
Light just lay down and rolled over on the bed. After thinking for a while, he decided to forget it.
"At present, the only source of Mileage Points is Voldemort. This is a problem. Well, I'll stay up all night then! Are young people still young if they don't stay up all night?"
"The Hogwarts tradition is to stay up late and all night. Just get used to it!"
Light mumbled to himself and slowly fell asleep on the bed.
In the auditorium, the surrounding was filled with the sounds of wizards having breakfast.
"Did you come back very late yesterday?" Light looked at Harry Potter, Ron, and Hermione, who were listless and seemed on the verge of falling asleep at any moment.
"Yeah! When we went to find Hagrid last night, we almost got caught by Snape again!" Ron said dejectedly, and even the chicken leg in his hand didn't seem appetizing anymore.
"What happened!" Light raised his eyebrows.
"We told Hagrid the whole story, but instead of telling Dumbledore, Hagrid directly went to confront Snape. And he almost let it slip about us!" Hermione chewed on the bread vigorously, looking as if she was very unconvinced.
"Did you get exposed?" Hearing this, Light became curious.
"No, luckily Hagrid didn't say we were there. But Snape seemed to have discovered something and kept guarding the way back to the castle until morning before leaving." Harry Potter said helplessly, explaining why they had stayed up all night.
"Damn it! Are you guys out of your minds? Just stayed there on the road in a standoff?" Light had an expression as if he had just learned something new.
"We also thought that Snape wouldn't keep guarding there. Who knew! He really didn't move at all." After Ron finished speaking, he bit into the chicken leg with a bitter face.
"Actually, it wasn't long until sunrise at that time!" Seeing Light's expression as if looking at a fool, Hermione couldn't help but explain.
"Are you going there tonight?" Light casually skipped this topic and picked up a piece of cut steak.
"No, we're not going! We've already told Hagrid to be careful of Snape. It won't be of any use if we go again!" Whether it was because he had been lectured by Hermione or not, this time Harry Potter didn't take the blame on himself.
"Alright! Then can you lend me Hedwig? I want to use it to contact Hagrid for me!" Harry Potter, who had been beaten up twice, agreed listlessly.
As the silver moon rose, Light released Hedwig and asked it to take a letter to Hagrid, saying that he would go to play with him tonight.
Light walked out of the castle. The dark country path was illuminated by the bright moon in the sky, and he soon arrived at Hagrid's hut.
As soon as Light arrived at the hut, he saw Quirrell leaving the hut with Fang. He stepped forward and knocked on the door!
"Ah! Light, you're here. Hedwig is inside the house." Hagrid opened the door and welcomed Light in.
As soon as Light entered the door, he smelled a strange stench. All the windows in the room were wide open, and fresh air kept pouring in, but still couldn't completely get rid of this smell.
"Have you found anything these days?" Light frowned at the smell, then took out some small snacks to feed Hedwig and asked Hagrid.
"I haven't found any clues. That poacher is an experienced one." Hagrid said sullenly, looking very annoyed.
"I'll go for a walk around here. Wait for me when you're about to go out. And one more thing! Don't tell Quirrell that I'm here!" After chatting with Hagrid for a while, Light walked out of the door with Hedwig in his arms.
"Can you help me find the person who just left?" Light asked the owl in his arms.
"Goo goo goo!" Hedwig chirped, flapped its wings twice, indicating that it was no problem.
"Okay, thanks! If he sneaks out of the hut later, come to me immediately."
Light cast the Disillusionment Charm on Hedwig and then carried it back into the house.
Time flew by in a flash! A stuttering voice roused Light, who had been dozing off under the cover of the Disillusionment Charm.
"Ha...grid! I-I'm done with the patrol."
"Alright, I'll go on patrol now!" With that, Hagrid walked to one side and stood there for a while.
While Light was waiting for Hagrid to come and pick up his weapon, he squatted beside Hagrid. Taking advantage of Hagrid's huge body as cover, he smoothly slipped out of the hut.
