**Extraordinary Progress**
The training from the previous day had exceeded all expectations.
- Rin was the first to master the Chakra Blade technique. It made perfect sense—she was a naturally gifted medical ninja. Her palm glowed a soft blue, forming a razor-sharp chakra blade. With just one swift motion, the hard wooden log before her was sliced cleanly, like a katana forged by a master swordsmith.
- Kakashi, on the other hand, not only mastered Chidori quickly but wielded it as if it had always been a part of him. Lightning chakra crackled in his hand like chirping birds. He dashed toward a distant ancient tree and pierced straight through its trunk with a single thrust.
Everyone was stunned—even Satoru.
"No way... Could it be that Kakashi was meant to invent Chidori in any timeline?"
As Kakashi withdrew his hand, he stared at it, a hint of confusion in his eyes.
"Sensei, why does this technique... feel so familiar to me?"
Satoru scratched his head and chuckled.
"Maybe you just have a natural affinity for lightning techniques, Kakashi."
Though inside, he was thinking: "No matter the world, Kakashi really is a true genius."
**Gai's Struggle**
Unlike Kakashi and Rin, Gai was still struggling with both Observation and Armament Haki.
Even so, Satoru wasn't discouraged.
He knew that what Gai lacked wasn't talent—but a method suited to his unique chakra network.
The Eight Inner Gates was a double-edged sword. It could unlock immense power, but also destroy the user's body.
"Maybe I should go talk to Dai—Gai's father—to learn more about the technique."
**System Rewards**
Just as Kakashi fully mastered Chidori, the familiar system chime rang in Satoru's mind.
*Ting!*
Congratulations!
Your disciple Hatake Kakashi has successfully mastered Chidori.
Reward: Lightning Release S-Rank Technique – Kirin!
Satoru almost screamed with joy.
"I didn't even teach him Kirin yet and already got the reward? The system's feeling generous today."
As for Rin, since she wasn't an official disciple, the system only gave him 100 points. Satoru sighed, slightly disappointed.
"If I want better rewards, I'll have to train official students or teach large classes..."
**The Next Morning – Kakashi's Home Visit**
Before heading to the academy, Satoru and Eren stopped by Kakashi's house for breakfast.
Today's main dish: braised pork belly—personally cooked by Kakashi.
The moment they opened the door, the rich aroma filled the air. Satoru's eyes lit up, and even Eren looked hungry.
Obito practically glued his face to the pot, drooling.
Meanwhile, Gai was still out in the yard doing handstands, muttering about youth while eyeing the meat with longing.
"Sensei! Eren-san!" Obito beamed like a spotlight.
"Can you believe it? Kakashi actually knows how to cook! I thought he lived off air!"
Kakashi, calmly stirring the pot, replied without looking back:
"If I don't cook, you eat all my food before I get a bite, Obito."
Obito protested instantly.
"That's not true! I only eat... slightly more than everyone else!"
**Back to the Academy – Satoru, the Campus Heartthrob**
After breakfast, the two strolled leisurely to the ninja academy.
The moment Satoru stepped into the teacher's lounge, all eyes turned to him.
Not because he had returned after two months—
But because of...
His god-like beauty!
- The sunlight hit his flawless face, making it glow like a divine statue.
- His silver hair shimmered, his clear eyes sparkled, and his relaxed posture made him look like he belonged on a throne.
Ayane froze in place.
"Crap... my heart just skipped a beat."
Before she could react—
"SATORU-KUN!"
A blur launched at him.
Ueda—the academy's infamous flirt.
She threw herself into Satoru's arms, her soft figure pressed close, voice sultry:
"We missed you sooo much, Satoru-kun~"
The scent of flowers filled his nose, and her warm body leaned even closer.
"You're more handsome than ever~ Wanna grab some sake tonight with little ol' me?"
Satoru gulped.
He almost lost control, tempted to show this fox woman just what he was made of—
But he pulled himself together.
"Hold it together, Satoru! You're a refined, noble, dashing hero—not some hungry beast!"
He gently removed her arms.
But before he could say anything—
Another pair of arms wrapped around him from behind.
A softer, warmer scent.
"Satoru-kun... we missed you."
Ayane.
She rested her head on his shoulder, voice playfully upset.
"You left me to cover your class for two months. You owe me a visit to my room to discuss your students' progress. Tonight."
Satoru froze.
His instincts screamed.
"Tonight... Whatever happens, happens."
Of course, not everyone was pleased.
- The male teachers nearly flipped their desks.
- Ikeya, the academy's self-proclaimed lady-killer, scoffed: "Looks aren't everything."
- Renji, a former ANBU, silently analyzed Satoru's rising presence.
- Sugito, the kindest of them, patted Satoru's shoulder: "Watch your back, you're being hunted."
**The Classroom – A Warm Welcome**
Escaping the danger zone, Satoru finally entered his classroom.
BOOM!
"FIRE STYLE – FIREBALL JUTSU!"
Colorful fireballs exploded like fireworks.
Then—
"WELCOME BACK, SENSEI!!"
Nearly 40 students shouted in unison.
Satoru froze, a wave of warmth flooding his chest.
He looked around at all the familiar faces:
- Anko, the energetic purple-haired girl, leading the cheer.
- Kotetsu and Izumo giggling in the back.
- Ebisu, trying to stay composed but clearly smiling.
- Gai, Kakashi, Obito—each with a different expression.
Satoru couldn't hold back a grin.
He raised his hands high and shouted:
"THANK YOU, EVERYONE! LET'S HAVE AN AWESOME LESSON TODAY!"
Cheers erupted throughout the room. The class was more alive than ever.
