Chapter 83 - Chapter 83: Taijutsu Training & the Selection Tournament

**The "Nightmares" of the Class Without Satoru**

After the heartwarming welcome, the classroom soon turned into a tidal wave of complaints about the days without Satoru-sensei.

Kotetsu scratched his head, frustrated:

- "That Ikeya-sensei? Seriously, have you ever seen a teacher who just stares at himself in the mirror all class?!"

Izumo jumped in immediately:

- "Yeah! And he keeps fixing his hair! When we ask questions, he just says, 'A good student should discover the answer on their own'... then completely ignores us!"

Ebisu, ever serious, nodded in agreement:

- "In ninjutsu class, he told us to 'feel the chakra in the wind and seek the answer within'... then just ended the class."

The whole class erupted:

- "What did we even learn?!"

- "He's all looks, no teaching..."

Satoru gave a helpless smile. He knew Ikeya was a notorious flirt among the teachers, but he didn't expect him to be this lazy in teaching too.

And then came Sugito-sensei, the gentlest teacher in school.

Anko jumped up and shouted:

- "Sugito-sensei is way too soft! Everyone just messed around while he quietly asked us to behave, and no one listened!"

Kotetsu slammed the desk:

- "One time, a student even took over the podium to teach the class!"

The whole class burst into laughter, clearly fed up.

Anko raised her fist:

- "IN SHORT, ONLY SATORU-SENSEI IS THE BEST! HANDSOME, KIND, AND TEACHES SO WELL!"

Satoru: "..."

Hold on.

He froze.

"What does being handsome have to do with teaching?! Don't tell me..."

This was the fiftieth time in the last two days he had been stunned by compliments on his looks.

He sighed.

"Is being this good-looking... a curse too?"

**Taijutsu Class – The Secret of Close-Combat Masters**

After letting the class vent, Satoru clapped his hands to get their attention.

- "Alright, alright! Let's put that aside. Today, sensei will personally teach you all a special taijutsu class!"

The class instantly lit up.

Konoha's culture had always held taijutsu in high regard. Even non-specialists were expected to have a solid foundation in close-quarters combat.

Satoru pointed toward the training field:

- "Everyone, outside!"

The students rushed out like a flock of birds.

Once gathered, Eren stepped forward and asked in a deep voice:

- "Can anyone tell me the difference between a close-combat ninja and a taijutsu master?"

The class looked at each other, puzzled.

Kotetsu thought for a moment:

- "Muscles?"

Izumo scratched his head:

- "Speed?"

Ebisu, confidently:

- "Being better at hand-to-hand combat than average?"

Eren chuckled and nodded.

- "All your answers are right, but not complete."

He raised a fist and suddenly punched forward.

*BAM!*

The air trembled and the ground cracked slightly under the pressure.

The class gasped.

Eren continued:

- "A true taijutsu ninja isn't just stronger or faster. They optimize every movement to maximize combat efficiency."

- "Imagine this: while a regular ninja might need five punches to take down an opponent, a taijutsu master needs only one."

Satoru nodded and added:

- "Exactly. And to achieve that, there are three key elements."

He raised three fingers:

1. **Body Balance Control – "Rooting"**

- "A good taijutsu ninja must control their body's center of gravity. A solid base allows stronger attacks and better evasion."

2. **Reaction Speed**

- "They need lightning-fast reflexes to read incoming attacks and counter immediately."

3. **Muscle-Chakra Integration**

- "Elite shinobi like the Raikage channel chakra into their muscles to enhance every punch and kick."

The class gasped.

Anko raised her hand excitedly:

- "Sensei, does that mean if we train hard enough, we can become like you and Eren-san?!"

Satoru smiled warmly, patting her head:

- "Absolutely! But first, you have to train hard."

**System Reward & the Selection Tournament**

After the lesson ended, the system rang in Satoru's mind.

*Ting!*

Congratulations!

You have completed a basic taijutsu lesson for 40 students.

Reward: Enhanced joint flexibility!

Satoru grinned to himself.

"Even scraps add up. Every bit counts toward growth!"

At the end of class, he gathered everyone.

His tone turned serious:

- "By the way, I have an announcement."

The class fell silent.

- "In a few days, the ninja academy will host a group of students from the Hidden Mist Village."

At the mention of the Mist, some students frowned.

Kotetsu muttered:

- "Those guys were raised on blood..."

Anko clenched her fists, a bit nervous.

Satoru nodded firmly:

- "That's why we'll hold a tournament to choose the top five students to face five from the Mist."

"Prepare yourselves. The Hokage has entrusted me with this task. I'll meet with the other teachers to set the date soon."

Everyone tightened their fists, eyes burning with determination.

"This isn't just a match—it's a matter of Konoha's pride!"
