Although the intelligence of this female Tyrant seemed somewhat lacking, her overall strength was overwhelmingly powerful. Both her speed and reflexes far surpassed the strongest mirage creature, the Lickwielder, that Xu Mo had encountered before, even surpassing Xu Mo himself in some aspects. As for her strength, it was almost beyond comprehension. Her claws could tear through almost anything, and Xu Mo felt as if he was facing a humanoid rhino, only much stronger.
Not only that, the seemingly smooth and delicate skin of the female Tyrant was incredibly tough. Xu Mo's Spartan short sword, which could easily decapitate a Lickwielder, could only leave an insignificant white mark on her body. Only when thrusting with all his might could he barely pierce her skin, but immediately after, the muscle tissue would block the blade, preventing any further penetration.
With her high regeneration rate, this female Tyrant was essentially an indestructible humanoid tank. It was hard to imagine what kind of attack could truly inflict fatal damage on her.
Under the Tyrant's terrifying strength, Xu Mo dared not attempt any defensive actions and could only retreat constantly, dodging between the gaps of her claws. The powerful wind pressure generated by her strikes tore at his face and arms, leaving deep gashes, some even to the bone, almost as if a blade had slashed him.
At last, Common Zitong's injuries were swiftly healed by the fusion of the Apocalyptic Shard, and seeing Xu Mo dangerously dodging between the Tyrant's claws, she raised her war hammer, preparing to support him. Xu Mo immediately stopped her, pointing to the entrance where zombies continued to pour in, shouting, "Don't worry about me! You can't help here. Go deal with the zombies, don't let these cannon fodder add to the chaos!"
Common Zitong realized that the fight between Xu Mo and the Tyrant had escalated to a level she couldn't participate in, so she followed his instructions and began killing the zombies flooding onto the rooftop. She then swung her war hammer, completely demolishing the entrance, blocking the path from the lower floors.
It was at this moment that the Tyrant, lured intentionally by Xu Mo, stepped into the trap. As her foot stepped onto the sticky ground, her high-speed form faltered, and her claws veered off course as she stumbled forward.
Xu Mo had been waiting for this moment!
He stopped abruptly and leaped forward. His right arm, covered by "Demon's Hand," twisted his body 120 degrees before delivering a full-powered "Zero Eruption" right into the Tyrant's beautiful face! The Tyrant, whose body was nearly a head taller than Xu Mo's, was sent flying into the air. She spun once before crashing down into the black mass of zombies below the rooftop.
"Did... did we win?"
The sudden victory left Common Zitong and Du Zhizhang in disbelief. Just as they were about to approach the Tyrant's fallen body to inspect it, Xu Mo suddenly intervened, his face grave, "Don't go! The Tyrant's not dead!"
It wasn't that Xu Mo had some kind of supernatural combat intuition. It was simply that he couldn't believe that a Tyrant-level creature would be so easily defeated by one move. After all, her strength was legendary in the Biohazard storyline.
As expected, before Xu Mo finished speaking, a massive claw reached over the edge of the rooftop, and a white figure shot up into the air. The Tyrant appeared before them once again.
However, this time her neck was unnaturally twisted backward. Clearly, Xu Mo's full-powered "Zero Eruption" had caused some damage. But after simply using her claws to adjust her neck, the Tyrant effortlessly snapped her head back into place, the joints cracking loudly as she returned to her original state.
"Xu Mo… do we really have to keep fighting?"
It was no wonder Du Zhizhang was so disheartened. Anyone facing this absurdly powerful Tyrant with its high offense, defense, and regeneration would feel a sense of helplessness. Even Xu Mo, after using his best attack with "Zero Eruption," found himself unsure of what to do next. It was already the highest output attack he could muster.
"What can we do? Just wait for her to kill us?" Xu Mo couldn't help but give a bitter smile.
"Why bother asking so much? Either she dies or we do, better to fight to the death than wait to be killed!"
Common Zitong was always one to act decisively. After exchanging a glance with Xu Mo, she swung her "Earthbreaker" war hammer in a series of black meteor-like arcs, relentlessly hammering at the Tyrant's body in an unpredictable pattern.
Even though the war hammer's strength wasn't enough to deal a fatal blow, the Tyrant soon became irritated from being constantly harassed by this small human. She suddenly used her shoulder to block one of the hammer strikes and then swiftly grabbed the hammer's head with her left claw. With a quick tug, she dragged the hammer along the handle and swung her right claw toward Common Zitong.
"Common Sister, let go!"
Xu Mo shouted, rushing toward Common Zitong. With his Spartan short sword drawn, he aimed for the Tyrant's lower back, hoping to break the Tyrant's hold on her. However, the Tyrant paid no attention to Xu Mo's stab, clearly focused on ending Common Zitong's life.
Common Zitong, aware of the Tyrant's terrifying claws, let go of her hammer and used the recoil from the blow to fly through the air in a half-circle, narrowly avoiding the Tyrant's claws.
Before she could land, the Tyrant's thick right arm suddenly twitched, and her claws extended by nearly half a meter. She grabbed Common Zitong, whose body had no room to maneuver in the air.
"Zitong!"
Seeing Common Zitong in the Tyrant's grasp, Du Zhizhang lost his composure and charged forward. However, before he could get close, the Tyrant swung her arm, sending him flying over ten meters. His arms were shattered, and his ribs seemed to crack, leaving him coughing up blood as he lay on the edge of the rooftop.
Du Zhizhang's rash attack, however, gave Xu Mo a rare opportunity. Seeing the Tyrant's arms momentarily open from using both to grab Common Zitong, Xu Mo leaped onto her shoulder and aimed at the Tyrant's head, unleashing another full-powered "Zero Eruption!"
A visible shockwave radiated from Xu Mo's fist, and even the Tyrant's mutated zombie body couldn't withstand such a powerful blow. Her leg bones and spine cracked under the pressure, and she staggered, half-kneeling on the ground.
The violent impact to her head left the Tyrant's already hazy thoughts in even greater disarray. In her pain, her hand tightened around Common Zitong's body, causing her to scream and spurt blood.
"Common Sister, hang in there!"
Xu Mo didn't give the Tyrant a chance to recover from her dizziness. Another devastating "Zero Eruption" struck her head, and the Tyrant instinctively raised her left arm to block him. But before she could reach him, Xu Mo's blow sent her crashing back to the ground.
"Let go of her! Let go! Let go!"
Xu Mo stepped forward and knelt on the Tyrant's smooth back. Gripping her slender neck with his left hand, he unleashed his "Demon's Hand," creating a sea of blue fire. With furious force, he pounded his fists into her head in relentless "Zero Eruptions." Each punch sent tremors through the entire rooftop.
The Tyrant struggled, her claws and toes scraping deep gouges into the ground as she tried to rise. Each time she attempted to get up, Xu Mo would strike her again, her nose and mouth splattering blood onto the floor below. After five "Zero Eruptions," the Tyrant's skull had been driven halfway into the cement floor.
