"…Oh," was the only thing Kade could say in response, stunned speechless. "Uh… I'm sorry."
Felix's statement was downright confusing. Kade knew for a fact that Felix was Wilder Embermane's son, that much was easy to find. So, unless the Moonhill Pack was hiding Wilder's death, he was not an orphan. And the way Felix spoke about it made Kade almost convinced it wasn't the case.
But that was more or less all he could have known. Even if there was a spy from the Bloodmoon Pack hiding in the Moonhill Pack, the most they would report was that Wilder's whereabouts were unknown, at least for most members of the pack, and maybe that Felix was Jared Thorne's fated mate. A spy's communication with their pack was always scarce, due to the risk it carried, thus they only tended to report what they considered to be crucial information.
