Cassidy went to her as she spoke. "So um why did you do this".
Okuu looked at her as she spoke. "Attention".
Chris blinked as he laughed. "You wanted Attention, oh by the gods". Chris stopped laughing as he thought. "I would have done the same if I was given that power.... I am not a good person either".
Chris then reached out his hand. "So what was the reason for this".
Okuu tilted her head. "I don't remember, just it was the plan of God in Mountain".
Marisa grunted as she spoke. "Damm it, it was Yasaka".
Chris looked at Okuu as he smiled at her. "Will, whatever happend, happen, we will fix this".
Seeing him smile, Okku blushed as she did, Both Reimu and Marisa felt jealous even though they didn't know why they were feeling Jealous at this point.
Cassidy as she spoke. "Yeah, let's go to the surface".
Squad four flew up to the sky; as they arrived at the mountain, they saw who was she, Problem, and Sanae.
Chris just spoke with a deadpan face. "Does Common Sense not exist in this place?".
Then they started their Danmaku battle, as the bullet hell battle started with everyone fighting, then Chris's sword broke during the fight
The Danmaku battle continued with a deafening roar as bullets of light filled the air. Okuu, Sanae, and Yasaka were relentless in their assault, each unleashing powerful waves of energy and magical bullets. Chris, Cassidy, Reimu, and Marisa dodged and countered, their skills tested like never before.
The sky above was alive with flashes of light as the battle raged on, but Chris's mind was somewhere else. The weight of his past and the constant pressure of the battles they faced had been taking its toll, but he couldn't afford to stop.
Chris was locked in combat with Yasaka, her magic beams coming from every angle. He leaped into the air, swirling his sword to cut through the incoming barrage of light, but then—CRACK—his sword shattered mid-strike.
"Oh no," Chris muttered sarcastically, holding the broken pieces in his hand. He dropped them to the ground with a sigh. "Well, this is just fantastic…"
Marisa glanced over, annoyed. "Hey, what's the deal with you and weapons anyway? You act like they're cursed."
Chris was about to respond, but then he froze. His mind flashed back to the past, and the feeling of sharp objects haunted him. Knives. Swords. Blades... They reminded him of something he'd rather forget. Something he'd never talk about.
"You know, I don't actually like swords," Chris admitted to no one in particular, but the group heard it loud and clear.
"Isn't that kind of ironic, considering you're always armed?" Marisa raised an eyebrow.
"Don't remind me," Chris muttered. "I... have my reasons." The rest of the team didn't push the matter further, sensing the darkness in his tone. Instead, they pressed on, hoping that he would open up when the time was right.
Meanwhile, Cassidy was fending off Yasaka's barrage of glowing bullets with a combination of quick strikes from her Holy Light Blades and well-timed evades. But the assault was relentless, and her stamina was wearing thin.
Chris suddenly appeared next to her, smirking. "Hey, Cassidy. Golden Freddy time."
"About time!" Cassidy shot back, grinning fiercely. She grabbed his arm, and their bodies glowed with a radiant golden aura.
The energy around them intensified, and with a flick of their wrists, they launched a devastating combined strike—a pulse of pure light that scattered Yasaka's projectiles. Their synchronized attack overwhelmed her, sending her reeling back and creating a massive explosion of golden energy in the sky.
Chris and Cassidy landed in the wake of their explosion, breathing heavily but feeling the adrenaline rush.
"Alright, let's finish this!" Chris shouted, feeling the thrill of battle surge through him again. His golden aura lingered as he summoned his powers, ready to unleash his next move.
Up in the air, Reimu and Marisa were facing off against Sanae, who was using her wind and water powers to keep them on the defensive. But Reimu's thoughts weren't on the battle.
She couldn't stop thinking about Chris.
Why does he look like he's seven years old?! Reimu groaned mentally. She couldn't understand it. Every time Chris did something heroic or serious, he looked like a child.
"I've got to stop thinking like this," Reimu muttered to herself, shaking her head in frustration. I have feelings for someone who's… practically a kid! She sighed in her mental panic. Please, can the gods at least hear me?
The sky above glowed for a moment. Reimu blinked and looked up, her eyes widening in realization. "...Oh great, the gods heard. All of them."
She could practically feel the ancient deities laughing at her from above, knowing full well the awkward situation she found herself in.
Meanwhile, Chris had no clue what Reimu was thinking. He was far too focused on the fight and the glowing golden energy pulsing around him. His entire demeanor was confident, his eyes flashing with determination, but the reality was, inside... he was a tangled mess of emotions just like Reimu.
Despite the growing tension, the squad was beginning to get the upper hand. Yasaka was weakening, Okuu was still recovering, and Sanae was having trouble keeping up with Chris and Cassidy's combined powers.
Chris, now free from his broken sword, teleported rapidly, flanking Sanae. He swung his glowing golden blade through the air, leaving behind streaks of light. "Time to finish this!"
Cassidy followed suit, her blades cutting through the air in a precise, coordinated attack. Together, they created a final burst of golden light that overwhelmed Sanae's defenses, sending her crashing to the ground.
The battle ended in a burst of light, and all that remained were the panting bodies of the defeated enemies.
Reimu and Marisa landed alongside Chris and Cassidy, the tension in the air finally starting to ease.
"Well," Reimu said with a forced smile, "that was… something."
Chris, wiping sweat from his brow, looked at Reimu. "Yeah, but I think we're done here. It's time to get to the bottom of all this." He looked at Okuu, Sanae, and Yasaka, who were slowly picking themselves up from the battlefield.
Cassidy, her golden aura still glowing, turned to Chris with a grin. "Hey, nice teamwork back there, golden boy."
Chris only smiled back, though it was clear that he was still exhausted.
Reimu's face reddened slightly, her mind racing with thoughts about Chris. But before she could say anything, Okuu walked over, her eyes now soft and filled with remorse.
"Thank you… for stopping me," she said quietly, her voice breaking.
Chris nodded gently. "We'll fix things. Whatever happened, happened."
Cassidy went to Yasaka as she spoke. "Ok, so care to explain what was the reason for all of this?".
Yasaka got as she started to heal herself. "Order from heaven, too make a steam generator, the Kapa Generator".
Chris blinked as he didn't look at it, but he was the trigger. "I swear I am gonna strangle the god that made this idea".
Sanae then spoke. "Either way, we already made the generator, you guys just brought the power source".
Cassidy crossed her arms and looked at Yasaka with a stern gaze. "A steam generator? That's the reason for all this mess? Heaven had a hand in it?"
Yasaka winced slightly as she finished healing herself, her expression tinged with frustration. "Yes. Heaven ordered the creation of the Kappa Generator, a device meant to supply a new source of energy. However, the power source required... was more than we anticipated. You were the trigger, and that's why we needed to bring you into this."
Chris's expression soured as he stared into the distance. "I swear, I'm gonna strangle the god that came up with this idea." He rubbed his temples, his patience thinning. "This is exactly the kind of thing that always spirals out of control. A simple task turned into this ridiculous situation."
Marisa then spoke. "So what is gonna be used for".
Sanea then spoke looking at them. "We are moving to steam powers in Gensokyo, as God put it ', Time too slowly catch to the Morden world'".
Okuu then spoke Frustrated. "So that's why you need Yatagarsu".
Sanea then spoke. "Yeah, Th-".
She throws the orb od energy at her face, as Okuu frustratedly goes back to the underworld before Reimu stops her
Reimu then spoke. "Hey, wait a minute, why don't we relax a bit".
After a while, all of them were in Hakurei Shrine, where a hot spring made by the Geyser erupted, Chris was mentally screaming as he was in a bath with multiple naked women.
Marisa then looked at Chris's head, finally seeing the Star Mark. "Oi, when did you get that".
Chris spoke Blushing. "When the Spirit first came out, when I heard all their voices, I stopped the world, and a Woman came to me and gave me this mark to control the voice".
Remilia then spoke, and she also enjoyed the bath. "Oh, what is her name?".
Chris spoke looking at the. "I think she calls? Whatself Junko".
Everyone then went Quiet as Cassidy Blinked, looking at everyone. "Why is everyone so quiet, what are we missing".
Cassidy looked around at the sudden silence that enveloped the group, noticing the puzzled and concerned expressions on their faces. "What? What happened?" she asked, a bit confused by the tension.
Reimu, who had been quiet up until now, was the first to speak. Her expression shifted from curiosity to concern. "Junko? The Junko?" she asked, her voice trailing off, almost as if trying to piece something together.
Chris raised an eyebrow, his face still flushed. "Yeah... I think that's what she said. Why, what's wrong?" he asked, genuinely unsure of why everyone seemed so tense now.
Marisa let out a soft grunt, clearly uncomfortable. "Junko... that name... it's not a good one." Her tone was grave, and she shot a wary glance at Chris. "You're sure that's her name? Junko?"
"Yeah," Chris confirmed, his voice slightly wavering. "She said her name was Junko. Why?"
Cassidy looked between Reimu, Marisa, and the others. "So, what's the deal with this Junko?"
Reimu finally sighed, rubbing her forehead. "Junko is a name that's tied to a lot of bad history in Gensokyo. She's... she's connected to the chaos that's been happening around here for a while. If it really was her, then we've got a much bigger problem on our hands than just steam generators and power sources."
Marisa crossed her arms, her eyes narrowing. "Junko's a force of destruction. She's been responsible for a lot of trouble, and if she's involved in this, then we need to be on guard. I don't know why she'd give you that mark, but it doesn't sit right."
Chris, now realizing the weight of his encounter with Junko, ran a hand through his hair, feeling a new layer of tension in the air. "Wait, so you're telling me I got involved with someone dangerous, and I didn't even know it?"
Sanae, who had been silent until now, spoke up, her voice softer than usual. "We might not know everything about Junko's involvement in all this, but we should tread carefully. She's not someone to take lightly."
The group fell into a heavy silence, the once peaceful hot spring now filled with uncertainty. Cassidy leaned back, letting the warm water soothe her thoughts for a moment. "So what do we do now?" she asked, her voice breaking through the quiet tension. "Do we go after Junko? Or are we just going to let this slide?"
Chris looked down at the water, his hand instinctively reaching for the Star Mark on his forehead, feeling its pulsating energy. "We need to get to the bottom of this. But I'm not sure I'm ready to confront someone like Junko... I don't even know what she really wants from me."
Remilia's voice broke through the silence again, her tone thoughtful. "Perhaps we can use this to our advantage. If Junko's giving you this power, maybe it's a key to something much larger at play. We need to figure out what she's really up to, and how it ties into everything else going on."
Cassidy nodded. "Right. So, next step is... finding out more about Junko, I guess."
The group continued to relax in the bath, but the weight of the situation was no longer lost on any of them. Whatever was coming next, it was clear that they were about to face a far greater challenge than they had anticipated.
End of Flashback.
Chris then spoke taking a bite of an apple. "I think that was everything that day".
Reimu looked as she spoke. "How did you know about the parts you weren't there for".
Chris shrugged nonchalantly, taking another bite of his apple. "Well, after everything that happened, I made sure to gather all the details. You know, keeping track of who did what, who said what... it's just how I operate." He smirked, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. "I may not have been there for every single thing, but I tend to pick up on the important bits."
Reimu raised an eyebrow, clearly skeptical. "So you're telling me you just figured it out?"
Chris gave her a pointed look, his eyes twinkling with a mischievous glint. "More like... I listened. People like to talk, especially when they've got something on their mind. It wasn't hard to piece it together."
Marisa leaned back, folding her arms and raising an eyebrow. "So, you're telling me you're some kind of... detective now? Keeping tabs on us all?"
Chris chuckled softly. "Something like that. Besides, I knew how important that information would be. Especially with Junko involved." He glanced around at the group, making sure everyone was paying attention. "She's not someone you can just ignore. And I didn't want any of you walking into a trap because of some missing details."
Reimu let out a slow sigh, her expression softening a little. "I get it, but... it's still a little unsettling. You've been involved in a lot of things, and we didn't always know where you were during those times."
Chris looked at them as he spoke. "So how do you girls believe me? When is she that Junko is harmless".
Reimu looked at them as she spoke. "Me, Cassidy and the rest can't trust like you and Marisa do".
Chris just sighed as he spoke to them as he spoke. "Come on she is part of my harem, like you girls, is she that hurt too trust the MILF".
Reimu blinked in surprise, her cheeks flushing slightly at the unexpected words. "Chris... did you really just say that?" she asked, her voice a mix of confusion and mild irritation.
Cassidy crossed her arms and glared at him. "You're not helping your case here, Chris," she said sternly. "Just because she's part of your harem doesn't mean she's automatically trustworthy. You can't just expect us to trust someone because of that."
Chris raised his hands defensively. "I get it, okay? I'm not saying you should blindly trust her. But there's a difference between trusting someone and understanding their role in all this. Junko has her own reasons for doing things, and from what I know... she's not here to hurt anyone." He sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "I get that she's... complicated, and maybe even dangerous. But she's also been through a lot. Just like all of us."
Marisa, who had been quiet up until this point, finally spoke up. "Look, I get why Chris is so laid-back about it. He's known Junko for a while now. But the rest of us... we haven't had the chance to really get to know her. You can't expect us to just trust someone with such a mysterious past."
Chris shrugged as he spoke. "All of you have a fair point about the Resident MILF (Junko), but she gave me a lot of advice to control my power".
Magic started to float around Chris, as it had a golden colour, and then Marisa smacked him. "Oh no, you are not starting your Curse and Hex's here".
Chris spoke in a kinda mocking tone. "Come on, these are my bread and butter; I will never use a sword again, and I have other spells, so don't use them all the time".
Cassidy then sighed as he spoke. "And yeat it was Junko that said, you should Learn Curse and Hex Magic because she said you will like them".
Chris winced as he rubbed the spot where Marisa smacked him, trying to hide his grin. "Okay, okay, I get it, no Curse and Hex stuff. But you can't blame me; they're so... effective." His voice took on a tone of mock innocence as he continued, "And Junko did say I'd enjoy them."
Marisa crossed her arms and glared at him. "If by 'enjoy,' she meant turning everything into chaos, then sure, she was spot on." She raised an eyebrow. "You're lucky we haven't had a 'Chris catastrophe' today."
Cassidy let out a heavy sigh, leaning back in her seat. "You know, this is exactly why we have to keep an eye on you. Junko may have given you advice, but you take it way too far sometimes." She paused before adding, "Honestly, what made you trust her so much anyway? She's a little... unpredictable."
Chris looked around at the group, feeling the weight of their scrutiny. He had to admit, Junko wasn't exactly the easiest person to trust. But she'd been the one to guide him through controlling his powers—powers that he often couldn't control. Her teachings had been... unconventional, to say the least. Still, there was something about her that made him feel like she had his back, even if she wasn't the most straightforward ally.
"I don't know," Chris admitted, his tone softening. "She just... got me. The first time I used these powers, I almost lost control. It was Junko who stepped in and showed me how to keep my head in the game. She didn't judge me. Instead, she gave me tools to handle it, tools I never knew I needed."
Reimu, who had been quiet until now, looked thoughtful. "It sounds like she helped you, but we need to be careful. Trusting her just because she helped you control your magic could be dangerous if we don't know her true intentions."
Chris nodded slowly. "I get that. But it's not like I'm blindly following her. I just... I owe her in a way. She helped me survive when I thought I wouldn't make it through."
Marisa shook her head. "I get it. But just remember, we don't know everything about her. Hell, we don't even know if she's still on our side or if she's got her own agenda."
Cassidy sighed again, her expression softening slightly. "Yeah. We're all in this together, and trust goes both ways. Just... don't get too wrapped up in her, okay? We need you to think straight."
Chris smiled, a bit more serious now. "I hear you, loud and clear. But as much as Junko might be unpredictable, I'll keep my distance from the chaos... for all of you."
The mood lightened a little, though there was still a lingering sense of uncertainty about Junko. For now, they could only move forward and handle whatever came next—together.
