"Vessel!?" Kakashi responded, bewildered by the statement. "What do you mean by that?"
"Why do you need him?" Hibiki asked; he was trying to get information out of them.
"Why we need him is none of your concern" Mia replied.
"Then if you think I'm coming with you without you constraining me, then you should forget it!!" Kakashi shouted.
"That's what we plan to do," Kato said, quickly clapping his hands as he shot a string of blood at them. Hibiki was quick to dodge, and he summoned a snake. The snake quickly wrapped itself around Kakashi and moved him out of the way, while the blood went straight to the cafe. The snake disappeared.
"I know that technique," Mia said. The water around her iced up and made a platform where she sat down. "The five ancient beast summoning techniques, The beast you just used was the phantom snake."
"How did you know about it?" Hibiki asked.
"Kato, be careful; you almost killed him. You know your blood pressure can instantly kill him," Mia said, this time referring to Kato.
"I'm sorry," Kato replied.
"Answer me!. How did you know about the Ancient beast summoning technique!?" Hibiki asked.
"I guess you already know that only one person can use the technique. That means if the last user dies, the technique just gets passed on to another person. A technique that is passed down to the descendants of the Takamichi clan, I clan that specializes in summoning technique"
"That's not my question," Hibiki said. He was beginning to lose his temper.
"I've seen someone else use the same technique. It was about eleven or twelve years ago," Mia said as she knocked herself gently. "Yes, it was twelve years ago. He had brown eyes and black hair; in fact, I'll say you look just like him.
"What are you trying to say?" Kakashi yelled. "If you have something to say, say it quickly."
It was clear that Mia was trying to make Hibiki angry.
"Twelve years ago, I killed a man who was using the same technique," Mia said, smiling widely. Even though she was pretty, that smile made her look creepy.
"Hibiki, don't listen to her. She's lying; she is trying to piss you off," Kakashi said, trying to calm Hibiki. "She looks like she's about fifteen years old, how can she kill a man at the age of three!?. Think about it!"
"No, Kakashi. It is true; my father is dead," Hibiki said. "My father died twelve years ago. When his body was found, they said his blood was frozen."
"Meaning?" Kakashi asked. Hibiki signed.
"He was frozen to death." Hibiki angrily pointed at Mia. "You killed him, and you'll pay for what you did!!!."
Hibiki started running quickly toward Mia. Kato jumped in front of him.
"Get out of my way!!" Hibiki yelled. "Beast summoning..."
Kakashi jumped in and kicked Kato out of the way. "Go, Hibiki. I got your back," Kakashi said with a smile.
"Don't push yourself too hard," Hibiki said. "Acient Beast summoning: water dragon"
This time, he was targeting Mia. She opened her palm and it frozen immediately; then she tapped it gently, and it scattered.
"You'll have to do better than that," Mia said.
Hibiki tried to punch her, but she kept dodging his attacks. She grabbed his hand and threw him into the sky.
"Woah, she is really strong, but I can't keep holding back," Hibiki said. From mid-air, he could see Kakashi.
Kato shot a string of blood; Kakashi dodged it, but it caught his leg. Kato pulled the string and started spinning Kakashi around. Kakashi held the string and used it to pull himself right to Kato and kick him in the face. Kato fell under water, and the blood string got mixed up with the water.
Kato jumped out of the water, rushed Kakashi, and punched him in the face, causing Kakashi to nosebleed as he moved backwards. Kato used the blood from Kakashi's nose and pulled him closer to himself, and Kakashi jumped into the water. Kakashi was starting to understand the Kato technique, but he needed to observe more before he could fully understand it. Then he could know how to defeat him.
He now knows that Kato can control blood—not just his but anybody's blood—and he noticed that when Kato got wet, he didn't use his technique. That means the water is his weakness; it was a good thing that they were on the ocean.
"Lightning blast" Kakashi yelled, forming a lightning-charged karma on his hand and striking it on the ocean. The blast caused a large wave of water to enveloped both of them.
"Beast summoning: Piranha rush," Hibiki said as tons of Piranha jumped out of the water, attacking Mia. She began freezing the fish and hitting some back into the ocean, but there was no end to them. With her distracted, Hibiki ran to where Kakashi drowned and pulled him out of the water.
"Are you okay?" Hibiki asked.
"I'm good. I think I've figured out his technique." Kakashi said, pointing at Kato, who just came out of the water and was coughing. "His technique allows him to control blood—not only his but blood from others as well. But if the blood gets mixed up with water, it will dissolve, and he won't be able to control it."
"Then I guess this will hold him nicely," Hibiki said. "Ancient Beast summoning: water dragon." The water dragon came out of the water and swallowed Kato, pulling him under water.
"Now let's take care of her," Kakashi said.
""Let's go!"" they yelled, running to Mia.
Kakashi and Hibiki rushed Mia as they exchanged punches, but she held her ground. Mia was able to dodge their punches, but she was able to beat both of them. They both back away.
"This isn't getting us anywhere," Kakashi complained. "We can defect her like this."
"I have a plan," Hibiki assured. "Are you ready!?"
"Hell yeah!"
