Kael's POV
The court stood still as the sound of the slap that Darius landed me echoed through the castle.
My wolf pranced about in my mind immediately, as I watched Darius immediately switch to his wolf.
He knew better. Darius knew that he had started war.
My wolf could not hold back anymore, and I had lost control of myself, so I let my wolf take control as Darius ceased the opportunity to attack me first.
Before I knew what was happening, Darius' fangs were in my flesh.
I squealed and landed a blow on Darius' neck as his wolf gnawed on my flesh. This worthless brother of mine thought it best to attack me at such a time?
Our father had just died for crying out loud, I thought we would try to get to the bottom of the cause of his death, instead...
Darius landed heavily on the ground and switched back to his human form at the same time.
''Coward...'' I called at him as I also switched.
''Says who?'' Darius attacked me again, this time with his fist as a human.
