CHAPTER 44 : A HUMAN BODY, AN EMBODIMENT OF DIVINITY.
Errin gasped as his awareness snapped back to the altar. His body was drenched in cold sweat, yet beneath the exhaustion, he felt… different.Horribly strange...a stranger to even himself.
His bones hummed, his veins pulsed, and the air around him bent slightly, as if recognising that even space and void couldn't keep...This was his surroundings responding to his very existence.
He clenched his fist. Power. Raw, untamed, ancient power manifested
"Is this… the true nature of the human body?"
A quote he read in some script some where surfaced in his mind....."if you believe, you can tell that mountain to move from where it is and it will heed your command"
The blindfolded woman took a step forward. Though her eyes remained hidden, her voice carried certainty and resolute resolve..
"The human body is the vessel of the divine. Within it lies the potential to command stars, to shape creation, to defy fate itself."
Errin's mind reeled. The figures he had seen in his vision—were they gods? Or had they once been mortals like him?
He lifted his hand, and for the first time, he could see it—the intricate pathways of energy flowing through his flesh, deeper than meridians, older than blood. They weren't just conduits. They were threads of the cosmos, woven into his very being.
"This body... it was never meant to be weak."
The realization hit him like a tidal wave. The limits imposed by the world—aging, exhaustion, mortality—were nothing but shackles. The potential of the human form was boundless, an embodiment of divinity waiting to be awakened.
But divinity came with a price.
The blindfolded woman raised a hand, and the air cracked around her.
"Now, you must proof yourself worthy of what you've glimpsed. If you cannot control this newfound power..." Too bad for you!
A pulse of energy erupted from her, sending a powerful force crashing towards him.
