[Just Because we are only 2 power stones from the bonus chapter goal, I'll give this chapter out early.

I watched as Jackson walked up infront of me, staring straight at Scott with a scowl.
A grin plastered my face for a moment before I hid it. Everything was according to plan, though the said plan having been formulated just minutes ago did simmer my excitement.
The plan was simple really.
Get Scott's Ego high enough that he'll let his guard down when I am to shoot, after that it would take luck and me using my [Genius Comprehension] like crazy in order to deduce the highest chance of scoring.
A simple plan.
" Let's go Jackson!" A voice broke through the silence, and there she was, Lydia, cheering her boyfriend on.
Though I wouldn't have minded that or cared, but when Lydia grabbed Allison by the arm and had her join her that's when I knew that my plan was fucked.
So with slow movements I looked back at Scott and cursed up a storm in my mind.
Gone was the confident grin Scott had been wearing and in its place he looked at Allison and then at Jackson, I didn't even have to see his aura flaring up bigger than i remember it to know that he was angry.
And so went my plan, not even being able to applied before it died in the gutter.
But I knew that I would need to score, I had to score in order to get that system reward, I needed this.
But while thinking of the system I decided to open it, I already knew of my Missions but I hadn't opened my Status yet.
So I immediately opened it with a mental tug.

Staring at my stats I grinned, first of all it was good to be told that you were better than others no matter who you were and finding that I was above the average of everyone else made me sigh in relief.
All those hours that the past me put in training did not go to vain.
I was curious though how he managed to grow this strong, human limits should've stopped this much growth at 15 or lower if my studies in biology were right.
Shrugging to myself I focused on the next matter, Jackson was almost ready to shoot before it would be my turn.
So I focused on perception, I focused on that '*' behind my perception stat and why it was put in brackets.

Seeing this I gawked, I hadn't realised how much my perception had been boosted by my perk before but now that I did.
I could see it.
First and foremost, time seemed to move a lot slower when I focused. I could see more details around me and even notice things from just sound and smell.
' Almost like the shifters super senses.'
I knew that my senses were weaker though, but I didn't let that put me down, I would be growing stronger soon afterall and the base perception I would have, the more the boost would be.
Aside from that I noticed that my [Mana] stat was my largest, in base form anyway.
Another thing was my charisma stat.
' I knew I was handsome but I didn't know I was bordering the supernatural standard of beauty.'
I had understood that I was the better looking between me and my brother, even more so and since we were not identical twins then of course one of us would look different and luckily for me I took the better genes of the family.
But that was not what caught my eyes as I looked through my status.
I needed an edge, something that would allow me to bypass Scott's reflexes.
I had been hoping that [Sports] would have something but i didn't get to seeing it when I found what I was looking for.
In my newest perk no less.

The only thing that really caught my eye was the fact that I could boost myself with aura.
But then again, I didn't know how to do that and Jackson had gotten the ball on his lacrosse stick already so I was running out of time.
So I did the only thing I could do, which was focus extensively on my [Genius Comprehension] perk alongside [Aura Control].
Luckily the latter perk already gave me instinctive control of my Aura even if it wasn't perfect control, so I simply pulled at it right as Jackson sprinted towards the shooting mark.
I focused the aura instead of flaring it around me to instead compress and flow towards where I wanted it. This worked even more well than I would have imagined as the aura slowed down its flaring before compressing around my body.
I had the thought to compress it towards my entire body but decided against it, spreading my aura too much would make the boost weak.
I didn't know how I had come to that conclusion but quickly put the blame on [Genius Comprehension] before flooding the bulk of my aura towards my legs and hands.
The aura tried flaring up, chaotic and unrestrained but I quickly brought it to heel with great help from [Genius Comprehension] guiding me whilst it too learnt from my mistakes and of Aura.
I held the Aura in my limbs for a while and then I heard it.
The tear of the grass as Jackson started running, just then though I looked at Scott and noticed that he was nervous but the anger that clouded his eyes was even more intense.
Jackson sprinted forward with more vigor than any other player had shown, he leapt into the air and just then, it was as if I could see everything even slower than I could before.
The way Jackson pulled at his lacrosse stick holding the ball, I felt myself predicting where the ball would go just from the way his arms were positioned.
Then he shot.
I waited for a moment.
Then cheers erupted from the crowd, the players and even coach on the other hand were shocked.
Then I heard Lydia get up and cheer.
But this was not for the fact that Jackson had scored, no. Every single spectator on the benches was cheering for the fact that Scott had caught the ball.
So it wasn't a surprise when Jackson looked at Lydia in betrayal, Lydia on the other hand simply gave her boyfriend a smug smile not feeling any ounce of shame.
Then the whistle blew again and the coach spoke.
" McCall!" The man said looking between me and my brother." You're up!"
To that I felt like cursing.
I had managed to compress the Aura into my arms and legs but it just wouldn't stay there, I also didn't feel any stronger so all this was a waste if time.
I even felt my anger spiking as I looked at my brother, smug and grinning whilst his eyes glew a bright yellow.
And just as I saw that, I felt my anger skyrocketing.
' Hell Nah! I won't be fucking outdone by my fucking little brother!'
And as if that had been a keycode to some enlightenment, my [Genius Comprehension] churned, my mind sharpened and I tensed my muscles rapidly while instead of coating my limbs I instead seeped the aura into my very muscles and connected both the aura in my legs and arms.
Then I took a step, catching the ball that been thrown by the referee and then let loose.

A rush of power crept into my veins and instead of being happy, I instead shot up towards the shooting line.
All the while my mind worked on overdrive, analysing, deducing and improving my very comprehension of lacrosse from memory of the every lacrosse related subject or memory I could remember.
[—Ding! [Sport's] has leveled up— [B+]-]
[—Ding! [Sport's] has leveled up— [A-]-]
Then I saw an opening.
No, I saw multiple openings and I chose the one where he'd never be able to reach with how he stood and positioned himself.
So just as I reached the shooting mark I leapt up into the air, twisted my body and shot.
The heaviness that was in the air that moment was so intense that I could sense it with my [Aura Control] as everyone stood in anticipation.
The ball shot as if it were going to go into the right corner and my brother saw that, I saw his eyes widen when he realised at how much speed the ball was going but he made way to intercept with surprise clear in his eyes.
But that's when the surprise came.
Just as Scott raised his lacrosse stick to intercept the ball, the said ball curved just a couple inches away from the lacrosse stick to the astonished eyes of everyone.
Then it slid between the boys feet and into the goalpost.
I watched all this while on my knee, standing up from that risky leap I had pulled but if anyone could see beneath my helmet they'd see me grinning as if I had won the fucking lottery.
So I watched as everyone paused, shocked and unresponsive.
Scott on the other hand stood from the goalpost, his aura flaring as his eyes strayed towards the benches but stayed staring at where Lydia and Allison sat.
Then Lydia with the hugest grin on her face stood up, making sure to grab Allison before they both cheered at the top of their lungs.
And like a chain reaction, everyone did the same, even the fucking players behind me.
And right then I grinned from ear to ear.
Not at the praise and attention I was getting, no.
It was from the screen that suddenly appeared before my eyes.
