Chapter 63 - Chapter 62

Luna Everleigh's POV

***

The world around me shifted.

One moment, I stood in the endless void, staring at Selene—my past self. The next, I was falling, sucked into a whirlwind of light and shadow.

Voices whispered through the storm. Some I recognized. Some I didn't.

"Fate cannot be undone."

"You will lose him again."

"The cycle will never end."

Then—silence.

I hit solid ground with a gasp, my vision spinning. But I wasn't in the ruins anymore.

I was somewhere else.

A grand hall stretched before me, bathed in moonlight. White marble pillars loomed high above, etched with ancient runes. The air was thick with tension, the scent of blood and betrayal clinging to it like an omen.

And at the center of it all—

Selene.

She stood tall, her silver hair flowing like liquid light, her golden eyes burning with fury.

And in front of her was him.

A man with dark, stormy eyes. His sharp features were achingly familiar, yet foreign. The same strong jaw, the same powerful stance.

Rhydian.

But no.

This man wasn't Rhydian.

"Aldric." The name slipped from my lips like a forgotten prayer.

His gaze was locked onto Selene, filled with something raw—love and betrayal intertwined. His hands were clenched into fists, his body rigid with barely restrained fury.

"What have you done?" his voice was a growl, echoing through the vast hall.

Selene stood her ground. "What I had to."

Behind them, shadows moved. Figures lurking in the darkness, waiting to strike.

I couldn't move. I couldn't breathe.

I was watching something that had already happened. A memory burned into time itself.

But it felt real. Too real.

As if I was meant to be here.

As if I had lived this before.

To be continued...
