Though, even among vampires, we still have ranks, with higher levels being much more arrogant and possessing the strength to back it up. I wasn't blessed to be a royal or even nobility. I am but a common vampire, the kind you see everywhere in our country of bloodsuckers. I've fought for thousands of years, trying to denounce my origin and climb higher and higher to overthrow the so-called 'higher' beings.
Can you believe that I proved myself right? Hah, I can't! I've accomplished so much that I no longer have the desire to live anymore. So, I'll stop eating and extinguish my eternally youthful vampire life as a result.
I do have the desire to have another child, though, and I found a boy - lifeless yet full of spirit, weak yet full of wisdom, better yet, unyielding. YES! HE IS THE ONE WHO SHALL JOIN MY FAMILY! YOU, LEON, YOU ARE THAT PERSON!"
Leon:
"Alright, I am ready."
The unknown vampire grabbed his arm, and Leon looked at the vampire with red eyes and pale white hair through his blue eyes. The bloodsucker raised the sportswear that covered Leon's wrist and bit into it, sinking his fangs into the flesh. Leon didn't seem to bleed, but the vampire himself. Blood flowed from the vampire's fangs into the young man's hand through the wound. The vampire got up, raised his hands toward the sky as if in prayer, and started yelling.
The vampire:
"YES! THRIVE, MY CHILD!"
This is what was heard throughout the deep, dark forest near a massive cliff that ended its path, as if on purpose, to look at the beautiful scenery made by nature, the lake and the massive mountains surrounding them.
As Leon's hair was turning grayer and grayer, his skin softening, his body shrinking, his teeth itching, the vampire continued:
The Vampire:
"I HOPE YOU GROW INTO YOUR NEW SELF AND ACHIEVE EVERYTHING YOU'VE EVER WANTED. MY CHILD, MY SO-.... daughter...?!"
Much to the vampire's shock, the boy turned into a beautiful vampire girl with hair as white as snow and eyes as red as crimson flowers, resembling her father. The sportswear seemed a bit big for the vampire child; the black main color along with the blue secondary color meshed well with the newly awoken vampire's hair as if it was both morning and night at the same time, like an equinox. Leon's skin tone had already been pale; it remained unchanged as a vampire as well, though everything else evidently did change.
