The Light Amidst the Darkness (Part 5)
Isa was still leaning into Fai's embrace, feeling his heartbeat racing after their battle with the white cat. Their world had returned to its usual beauty—the golden sky glowing softly, the wind carrying the scent of wildflowers, and the crystal-clear river flowing peacefully. But in their hearts, unanswered questions remained.
Fai stared at the glowing white feather in his hand. "Isa… if this was a test, that means something even greater is waiting for us."
Isa nodded slowly. "I know. But what scares me isn't the test itself… it's what happens if we fail."
Fai held her hand tightly. "We won't fail. As long as we believe in this world and in each other, we'll always find a way."
Suddenly, the feather began to shine brighter. Its soft glow transformed into a blue light, leading them toward the glowing forest in the distance. It was as if it was showing them the way.
Isa looked at Fai, determination in her eyes. "I think we have to follow it."
Without hesitation, they followed the light, weaving their way through the trees, their hearts beating with anticipation.

As they ventured deeper into the forest, the atmosphere shifted. The trees that usually glowed blue now shimmered with a mysterious purple hue. The sound of the wind turned into faint whispers, as if something was watching them.
Isa bit her lip. "This place… it feels different."
Fai placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Stay close to me."
Suddenly, the blue light from the feather stopped in front of a massive stone gate covered in ancient carvings. The inscriptions above it glowed in an unfamiliar language, yet somehow, they understood the meaning:
"True love must pass through darkness before it reaches the light."
Isa swallowed hard. "What does that mean?"
Fai studied the gate. "I think… we have to enter and face something even greater than before."
Without warning, the gate rumbled open. A thick black mist seeped out, filling the air with an eerie presence.
Isa gripped Fai's hand even tighter. "No matter what happens… we face it together."
Fai smiled and nodded. "Always."
They stepped inside, and as soon as they crossed the threshold, the world around them shifted. The golden sky disappeared, replaced by a dark expanse with flashes of violet lightning. A fierce wind swirled around them, and before them stood a tall figure with eyes glowing red like embers.
"How fascinating," the deep, powerful voice echoed. "You've passed the first test… but is your love strong enough to endure what comes next?"
Fai and Isa exchanged glances. They didn't know what awaited them, but they knew one thing—they would face it together.
To be continued…
