Part 12 – When Fantasy Becomes Reality
Fai gripped his phone tighter. The weight of Isa's words sank in. If their wounds from the fantasy world could manifest in reality, then their connection to that world was deeper than they had ever imagined.
"We need to meet," Fai said firmly. "This isn't just a dream anymore."
Isa hesitated. "You're right… But where?"
Fai thought for a moment. Their usual café? No. They needed privacy.
"My place," he decided.
There was a pause, then Isa exhaled. "Alright. I'll be there soon."

When Isa arrived, she was wearing a loose sweater, but Fai could see the way she held her shoulder, as if protecting the burn beneath the fabric. Without a word, she sat beside him on the couch.
Fai carefully reached for her sleeve. "Can I see?"
Isa nodded, and he gently pulled it down, revealing a faint red mark—exactly where she had been burned in the battle.
"This is real," she whispered.
Fai clenched his fists. "If the wounds are real… then what about everything else? What if that world is real?"
Their eyes met, and for the first time, the possibility became undeniable.
Their fantasy world wasn't just an escape.
It was waiting for them.
