Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 The Movie Theater Incident

Nanami Kento had heard of Gojo Satoru long before meeting him.

After all, the young master of the Gojo Clan—one of the three great sorcerer families—was already famous. A prodigy. A genius. A force to be reckoned with.

But after being forced to wait two hours at Shinjuku Station because of said prodigy, even Nanami's patience had its limits.

And yet—Gojo greeted him like an old friend.

"Nana-kun! How's dorm life treating you? We'll be fighting side by side from now on!"

Nanami barely concealed his annoyance. "The dorm is fine. It would be better if my neighbor wasn't Gojo-senpai."

Gojo gasped, clutching his chest in mock hurt. "Eh? That's cruel! You admired me so much before!"

…Was this even allowed?

Nanami exhaled deeply, choosing not to engage. Instead, he got straight to the point.

"Yaga-sensei wants to see you. Immediately."

Gojo casually adjusted his sunglasses. "If you see Yaga, tell him I'm not here."

And then—he vanished.

The next day, Gojo peeked into the classroom before stepping inside.

Only Ieiri Shoko was there.

Good.

He strolled in confidently, dropping into his seat.

"Shoko, guess who I ran into yesterday?"

Shoko, reeking of cigarette smoke, didn't even look up. "If it were Yaga, you wouldn't be sitting here so carefree."

Ignoring her sarcasm, Gojo grinned. "It was Geto. If you knew him, you'd love him."

Geto? Again?

Shoko leaned forward slightly, intrigued. What kind of person had Gojo—of all people—so fixated?

Before she could ask, a shadow blocked the classroom door.

"Gojo Satoru."

Yaga Masamichi stood there, his towering presence blocking the sunlight.

Gojo didn't even flinch.

"Where were you yesterday?" Yaga's voice was calm—but the danger in it was clear. "Skipping a full day of class means punishment. Copy the Sorcerer's Code—100 times."

Gojo tilted his head. "How about 50?"

Yaga narrowed his eyes. "Eighty. And if you argue, I'll throw you into the pond to feed the fish."

Gojo leaned back, lazy smirk intact. "Sensei, we both know there's no pond here."

"Then I'll throw you somewhere else to feed the fish."

"The fish hate me."

"…"

Shoko sighed heavily, grabbed Gojo by the arm, and dragged him out.

Gojo whined. "Shokooo—"

She ignored him, shoving a mission report into his hands.

"Here's the job."

Gojo blinked at the address. "Wait. This is the movie theater I was at with Geto yesterday."

Shoko arched a brow. "You ditched the first-years… to watch a movie with your 'Geto'?"

"Yep! And two four-year-old girls."

Shoko paused. "…How old is Geto?"

"A year younger than me."

"So he has kids already?"

Gojo laughed. "What? No! Why would you think that?"

"Because who brings two four-year-olds on a date?"

Gojo tilted his head, considering it. "Fair question."

40 Minutes Later—Outside the Theater

Gojo activated Six Eyes.

A Grade 2 cursed spirit was lurking inside. Expected.

But something else was there.

A powerful, unfamiliar presence—dark, but not cursed energy.

Gojo's expression hardened. He glanced at Shoko. "Stay close. We're not just dealing with a simple curse here."

Shoko nodded, and the two stepped inside.

At the ticket counter, a familiar black-clad figure stood near the entrance.

Geto Suguru.

He was staring at Gojo in surprise.

"It's dangerous here. We should leave," Shoko said immediately.

But Geto wasn't looking at her.

His deep purple eyes locked onto Gojo.

"…Why are you here, Gojo?"

"It's 'Satoru,'" Gojo corrected, as if that was the most important thing. "And why are you here, Geto?"

Shoko's gaze flicked between them. So this was 'Geto'…

She didn't bother hiding her curiosity, scanning him up and down.

Geto stiffened under her scrutiny.

Clearing his throat, he answered evasively, "I saw the news and came to check it out."

Shoko didn't hesitate. "You can see cursed spirits?"

Geto hesitated—then sighed. "Yeah."

At first, he seemed reluctant to reveal the truth. But if Gojo was here, that meant this girl wasn't normal either.

Gojo grinned, slinging an arm around Geto's shoulders.

"Not just that! Geto's crazy strong. He has a rare ability—Cursed Spirit Manipulation."

Two pairs of eyes snapped toward him.

Shoko: "Wait. A cursed spirit user? And Jujutsu High missed that?"

Geto: "How do you know that?!"

Gojo: "Hahaha! Anyway, let's go exorcise that Grade 2 spirit in Theater 1!"
