Can you believe this guy?
What if someone sees him like that? Just strutting around like it was his house and not his father's house where anyone could see him walking out of my bedroom like that. I can't even process it right now. As soon as he's out of sight, I rush downstairs.
And even though I'd planned to go without him, something made me pause. I stand there, uncertain.
Then, just as I'm about to give up and go alone, he appears at the top of the stairs, now dressed, thankfully. We don't say a word as he opens the car door for me. I get in, he follows, and the silence lasts... for maybe thirty seconds.
"So," he starts, eyes on the road, "Is this like our thing?"
I narrow my eyes. "What do you mean?"
"You know... we have sex, then we take a trip to the pharmacy?"
I groan. "I'm not sleeping with you again. So no, it's not our thing."
