Chapter 23: Innocence Meets Experience
Everett smiled in satisfaction. "That's good. My Queen should now be the real Queen," he murmured, kissing her jaw. "Come, eat more," he encouraged warmly.
Zaiyila's appetite grew, and she happily ate more than she usually did.
"Right, husband, when can I visit your workplace? It's not really necessary to enter; I can just take a look," she remarked.
"Anytime my Queen pleases," Everett responded.
Zaiyila beamed. "How about the day after tomorrow?"
"That's Friday."
"Yes."
"No problem."
"Yay!"
"Don't want to go anywhere else?" Everett inquired.
Zaiyila shook her head and continued eating happily.

The next day, Zaiyila quickly dressed for school. Even though Everett repeatedly reminded her not to rush, she didn't listen—she had to get there early.
