Basic Information

The Power System of Astralis

In the vast world of Astralis, every living being is born with Mana. It is the essence fueling all abilities, be it magic, physical enhancements, or other specialized arts. Proper control over mana determines the strength of an individual, and its refinement leads to greater mastery over one's elemental affinity . Each person possesses an elemental affinity—some bound to a single element, while others, in rare cases, wields multiple.

------------------------------------

Elements and Their Classification

Elements are categorized into three tiers based on their rarity and the difficulty of mastering them:

Fundamental Elements(Most Common – Over 60% of the Population):

These are the most prevalent elemental affinities across all races

->Fire

->Water

->Wind

->Earth

Compound Elements(Rare – Possessed by 28% of the Population):

These elements are much less common and require greater skill to control

->Lightning

->Ice

->Metal

->Wood

Arcane Elements (Extremely Rare – Found in Only 12% of the Population):

These elements are highly uncommon and often exclusive to specific lineages or gifted individuals.

-> Space

-> Gravity

-> Light

-> Darkness

Certain races have a natural inclination toward specific elements:

->Elves predominantly possess Wood affinity, with over 90% of those with this element belonging to the elven race.

->Demons commonly wield Darkness affinity, making it a defining trait of their species.

->Light affinity is the rarest of all elements, typically found only among royal bloodlines and a select few individuals.

Mana Usage in Different Paths:

Mages : Mages use Elemental Projection to manifest their elemental affinity far from their bodies, enabling mid-range and long-range attacks. They excel in spellcasting, shaping their elements into powerful ranged techniques.

Augmenters : Augmenters harness mana to enhance their physical abilities, boosting strength, speed, resilience, and striking power for close combat. They imbue their weapons, fists or bodies with elemental energy, enabling techniques like flaming strikes, wind-accelerated slashes, or lightning-infused movements.

Ranks:

Both Mages and Augmenters progress through nine ranks, refining their mana control and increasing their combat potential at each level.

Each Rank consists of three stages: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.

Ranks of Mastery

1.Novice

2.Initiate

3.Apprentice

4.Adept

5.Expert

6.Master

7.Grandmaster

8.Ascendant

9.Demi-God

Magic Spells and Rankings:

Magic spells have Ranks based on their power level and difficulty to master:

->E-Rank

->D-Rank

->C-Rank

->B-Rank

->A-Rank

->S-Rank

Mages can use spells from E to A, but higher-ranked spells require exceptional skill and mana reserves.

Unlike Mages, Augmenters do not cast external elemental attacks, They Reinforce their bodies and weapons with mana and elemental energy. but achieve similar power levels through physical enhancement.

Power Equivalency:

Basic mana-infused strikes → Equivalent to E to D-rank spells.

Advanced reinforced techniques (low-level elemental infusion) → Equivalent to C to B-rank spells.

Elemental Overload Strikes → Equivalent to A-rank spells or higher.

Legendary Augmentations → Equivalent to S-rank spells (only the strongest warriors can use these techniques).

A high-level Augmenter's sword strike can rival the destructive force of a top-tier spell.

Other Fields of Mastery:

For those who do not pursue the path of augmenters or mages, there are other disciplines where mana can be utilized :

Alchemy – The study of potions, magical concoctions, and transmutation.

Arcane Theory – Scholars who analyze and innovate spells, advancing magical understanding.

Runecrafting – The art of inscribing powerful rune symbols onto objects, granting them mystical properties. (Stages: Beginner, Intermediate, Master, Grandmaster)

Healing Magic– The field of using mana to heal wounds, cure ailments, and restore vitality.

[A/N: Although possessing multiple elemental affinities is rare, it is not unheard of. Approximately one in a thousand individuals may have two elemental affinities, while only one in a hundred thousand may possess more than two. These individuals are called Deviants.

No Deviant can have two or more Arcane elemental affinities.]
