Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

A boy with messy Light brown hair, curious eyes, and a slightly lost expression, around five years old, sits on a rusty swing in a deserted park. The sun is already bidding farewell on the horizon, and shadows begin to take over the landscape.

— Huh... what is this place? — He scratches his head, furrowing his brow, as if waking from a long dream.

Suddenly, a sharp pain pierces through his head. He drops to his knees, groaning softly:

— Ah! What is this pain, my God... AAAAAAH!

[ZUUUUUUM!]

A blinding flash engulfs the boy. Rapid flashes, fragments of memories invade his mind like lightning across a night sky. Images, sounds, sensations...

"You are the Presence. The beginning and the end."

The voice echoes in his head, deep and filled with an ancient irony.

— It can't be... is this real? I... I remember everything now...

With wide eyes, he slowly rises to his feet. His skin radiates a soft, growing light, dispelling the surrounding darkness.

VRUUUM!

The ground trembles softly beneath him, tiny pebbles float around him. The grass sways in an invisible breeze, as if acknowledging his greatness.

— So, I died and was reborn here... in this world, huh? — He smirks, amused, as his eyes shine with infinite power.

BOOM! A distant thunder rumbles, as if the universe itself reacts to the revelation.

— DXD... a rather peculiar universe... and now, I have her powers, the Presence. Yeah... this is gonna be fun. — He murmurs, closing his eyes.

A soft golden aura begins to envelop him, pulsing like a cosmic heartbeat. The space around him seems to revere his existence.

SHHHHH...

Absolute silence takes over. Nature, animals, the wind—everything waits for the next action of this newly awakened entity.

— But is all this power a blessing or a curse? — He whispers, raising his gaze to the night sky, now shimmering with stars, as if welcoming his awakening.

A quiet sigh escapes him:

— Yeah, I guess I'll find out soon enough...

CRACK!

A bolt of lightning splits the sky, briefly revealing the imposing shadow he now casts on the ground—far greater than his small, childlike body.

— Time to explore the possibilities of this new world.

And as he walks into the dark night, a question lingers in the air:

"What could an all-powerful being seek in a world of demons, angels, and dragons?"
