Chapter 19 - Chapter 19 Becoming Stronger

Tsunade's sharp gaze locked onto Kadoya like two golden laser beams.

"By the way, Kadoya. Did you pay your tuition for this week?" Tsunade suddenly asked, crossing her arms.

Kadoya: "!!?"

Uh… what tuition?

Wasn't she supposed to be giving free guidance for a week? Why was she suddenly talking about money?

Faced with Kadoya's contemptuous look, Tsunade's expression didn't change.

"Free training, yes. But do you know how much money I lose by not doing missions for a week? I have to take care of Nawaki every day. And your food, lodging, medical expenses, and the training ground fee—who do you think covers all of that?"

"And look at this place. You two wrecked the training ground during your fight just now. Doesn't that need repairs?" Tsunade asked, squinting at him....

The training ground was clearly destroyed by you, Lady Tsunade!

Still, since he understood Tsunade.

"Then can I get my refund for the tuition money I paid two days ago?"

Tsunade: "..."

"Ahem! Right, sorry I forgot you already paid." Tsunade quickly faked a cough, turning away and avoiding eye contact with the young Uchiha.

"With such talent in fire release, why did you decide to focus on water release?" Lady Mito asked, her gaze locked onto Kadoya with an amused gaze.

"Grandma Mito, it's actually from my training with water release that helps me create a fire fist that size."

Hearing his response, she patted his head, but his stubborn ahoge stood back up again.

Seeing this, Nawaki couldn't stand it anymore, the young boy rushed over squeezing himself in between Kadoya and Lady Mito.

"Grandma!"

The young Nawaki hugged his grandmother affectionately, while giving Kadoya a glare.

"What with the stink eye? Are you trying to imitate Lord Jiraiya?" Kadoya asks.

...

Meanwhile, somewhere else in Konoha…

"Lord Jiraiya, let's go quickly. Peeking isn't good," Minato said behind Jiraiya with a wry smile.

"Minato, you don't understand. Gathering material is an important discipline. My teacher, the Third Hokage, once said something that I have always taken as my motto."

"He said that gathering material not only trains your infiltration ability but also your ability to observe details in your surroundings. And most importantly—"

"Achoo!"

Jiraiya suddenly sneezed, feeling a chill down his spine.

Who, who's talking bad about me behind my back?

"Ah ah ah! Someone is peeking!"

"Who? Where?!"

Jiraiya's sneeze had exposed them.

Without hesitation, he grabbed Minato and bolted.

"The most important thing is that it also trains your escape skills! Run, Minato! If we get caught, we're getting thrown into the Uchiha Police Force headquarters!"

Minato: "..."

...

"A ninja, as a symbol of power, is also a responsible existence. While we possess strength, we must protect those who are important to us."

Tsunade crossed her arms, instilling her understanding of ninjas into Kadoya.

"A ninja without conviction cannot harness their own power, nor can they grow into someone who can stand alone."

"So, Kadoya, what is your wish? As your teacher, it is necessary for me to know this."

Kadoya looks up at her, his ahoge forming into a question mark.

At this moment, she was completely immersed in the role of a teacher.

Hmm? Role-playing?

As expected of Princess Tsunade. She's quite good at role-playing.

Of course, asking about wishes has always been a reserved program in Konoha Village.

The main purpose of this segment is to understand these future ninjas, so as to provide good guidance to children with problems in a timely manner.

Of course, the final result is often a slap in the face.

Except for the protagonist, it seems that few people who have stated their wishes have actually realized them.

Tsunade is also very curious about Kadoya's wish. After all, the circuit of a genius is always different from others.

Most importantly, as a child of the Uchiha clan, Kadoya's personality is somewhat out of sync with most people in the Uchiha clan.

Kadoya's father was a teammate of the Third Hokage, and a disciple of her grandfather.

There is such a relationship between them.

Tsunade wanted to provide good guidance to this child of the Uchiha clan.

"Wish?" Kadoya raised his head at a forty-five-degree angle, revealing a melancholy expression.

He watched the white clouds drifting by in the sky, a gentle breeze caressing his "kimono", his black hair slightly curling, he was about to strike a handsome pose—The biggest problem with the new teacher is probably a lack of patience.

So Tsunade ruffled Kadoya's hair, urging impatiently.

"Speak quickly! Stop dawdling. You're more girly than Orochimaru."

Orochimaru: "??? I am steady, okay!"

As someone who knows about the danger this world brings later on, Kadoya just wanted to have a peaceful life.

After all, Kadoya already considers himself a bad person, so he doesn't feel guilty putting Minato through all those things, or punching girls in the faces.

Because for a good person to find peace, it takes endless struggle. But for a bad person, all they need to do is put down their weapon.

Kadoya thought for a moment before saying, "I think, I just want that one day this shinobi world would be able to peace. Not the temporary peace that only happened between wars, but true, eternal peace."

"Bang." Tsunade punched Kadoya on the head.

"If I didn't know better, I would have thought you were a decadent middle-aged uncle writing a novel and following the words of his summon beast. You're even more pretentious than Jiraiya!"

Jiraiya: "??? I am a literary youth!"

"Still, your vision of world peace is admirable. But to reach that dream, it's more difficult than becoming Hokage." She said, arms crossed.

"Tch, shallow woman. When you see the pain of war, you will understand my wish." Kadoya said disdainfully.

"Alright. Haven't you ever thought about becoming Hokage?" Tsunade asked.

"Huh? Isn't that Minato's life goal? If I become Hokage, where will Minato have a chance? Wouldn't he have no life goal in the future?"

"Uh, uh, you really are considerate of your friends." Tsunade curled her lips.

That's right. Don't you see that the dream of becoming Hokage is so easy to achieve?

As the grandson of the First Hokage, Nawaki bragged the most, so he died at the age of twelve. Obito was also aiming for Hokage, you see how miserable his experience was, he soon died.

Minato, as the protagonist's father, so his fate is a bit tougher, so he became Hokage and then died not long after.

So the position of Hokage is likely to be cursed.

Madara Uchiha? Could it be him? After all, as the first generation of Hokage dreamers, his Hokage position was snatched by the First and Second Hokage, one can imagine how much resentment he has.

The Third Hokage knew very early on that this position was not good, so he always thought about his good buddy Danzo, not letting Danzo become Hokage.

That's why Danzo lived peacefully until he was sixty or seventy. But Danzo didn't listen, and when he became Hokage, he immediately died in the streets.

...

After the heart-to-heart chat, Tsunade began to formally teach Kadoya.

"This is the Senju clan's training ground. No one else usually comes here. For the next week, you will be living here."

"Of course, whether it's clean water or food, you need to earn it with your performance. If I'm not satisfied, then I'm sorry, I will cancel your supply."

"As a ninja, what's truly important, the most important thing is, of course, strength. Having strength is the power for us to survive. Therefore, for a ninja, the positioning of one's own strength is very important."

Tsunade paused, and continued to say to Kadoya, "This time's training, I won't be teaching you much ninjutsu, genjutsu, or taijutsu. But what I will give you is the most basic thing. That is the precision of chakra control."

"You should have felt it too. When you were fighting my Shadow Clone, you were very strained. Even though you are very good at taijutsu and ninjutsu."

"This is because your precision of chakra control is not good enough. A ninja must precisely control every bit of their chakra."

"Don't think that you can not care just because you have a large amount of chakra. Because there will always be someone with more chakra than you."

"Therefore, what ninjas compared at that time was the ability to master chakra. If you have more precise control over chakra, then you will consume less chakra for ninjutsu of the same power."

"And the mastery of a ninjutsu is also related to chakra control. Whether it's future chakra nature transformation or chakra shape transformation, these high-end things are inseparable from chakra control."

"I know you are very talented in ninjutsu. I am not a ninjutsu ninja, but I also know that ninjutsu requires a decent level of chakra mastery."

"If your control precision of chakra is very strong, then when using ninjutsu, the power will be greatly improved."

"Most importantly, if your chakra control is strong enough. Your ninjutsu won't just be massive but also packed with more power too."

Kadoya nodded. In Kadoya's view, the ability to control chakra is indeed very important.

Tsunade is still very qualified as a teacher, except that she is impatient, has a bad temper, likes to gamble, is lazy, and likes to intimidate Kadoya from time to time. In other aspects, Tsunade is still very good.

"Kadoya, what are you thinking about?" Tsunade's voice brought Kadoya back to his senses by ruffling his head.

"It's nothing." Kadoya said, "I was just wondering what kind of dream you have, teacher."

"Me…" There was an obvious color of reminiscence in Tsunade's eyes, even a little smile, but after a long time, she still shook her head.

"Just a very small dream."

...

Kadoya was sitting alone in the training ground at this moment.

Suddenly, a wisp of chakra appeared in his hand, lingering and not dissipating.

Then, he controlled the chakra ball, dividing it into five small strands. The five strands of chakra precisely drilled into the small holes of five kunai.

Kadoya exhaled a breath. He had completed the fourth stage of chakra control.

He orignially thought the only mentioned the very simple water walking and tree climbing for chakra control, but this method was too rough for controlling chakra.

Moreover, Kadoya had completed this basic training long ago.

He usually controlled the intensity of his chakra to release small-scale ninjutsu to train his chakra control ability.

In the past, Kadoya always thought that his chakra control precision was already very powerful.

He just didn't expect that there was a higher realm in this aspect. Tsunade was indeed a master in this area.

According to the method Tsunade taught, he could now successfully divide a large ball of chakra into several small strands and accurately insert them into the small holes of the kunai.

Kadoya felt that the chakra he used to release ninjutsu of the same power was much less than before. The release of illusions was also more concealed.

Now, Kadoya was about to begin the next stage of training.

Another wisp of chakra appeared in his hand, lingering and not dissipating.

He took out a leaf. After he put the leaf into the chakra ball, the leaf was crushed by the seemingly gentle, glowing chakra.

Failed.

Kadoya once again focused all his attention to maintain the stability of the chakra release, and then carefully tried to put the leaf on again with his left hand.

This time, the control had improved slightly. The leaf rotated in the chakra ball, and then was crushed again by the chakra whose direction could not be controlled.

More than half an hour later, looking at the broken leaves all over the ground and the chakra ball that had been rotating in his hand, Kadoya revealed a satisfied smile. Although the result was not ideal, it was already quite difficult to achieve this level so quickly.

That's right, this stage was about controlling the direction of the chakra's movement.

Chakra is very violent, and it is difficult to control all the chakra to move in one direction. People with strong chakra precision control can control the direction of the chakra's movement and make it move in a regular manner.

To put it bluntly, the chakra precision control of this stage is actually very close to the initial prototype of the Rasengan. Something he already knew, with this type of training, Kadoya believed he could recreate the hand-seal-less Rasengan without the help of his Shadow Clones.
