Sitting in my cell I began trying to test my abilities starting with my newly gained spells.
"[Mage hand]"
Speaking aloud I felt something leave my body making me slightly tired, as a translucent red hand appeared before me in the mean time.
'Red?'
Observing the hand I immediately noted the color, which was differed from the light blue I was expecting.
'Maybe it's just an aesthetic?'
Thinking this I moved on as I began attempting to test the limits of Mage Hand starting by moving it around and having it lift some items in my cell.
'It's different'
I was surprised to discover that the Mage hand different from the game had the same capability as my regular hand be it speed or strength, though I did find the hand's ability to follow commands was slightly delayed.
'It should work for my plans'
Thinking this I looked at my status not even bothering to look at Toll the Dead as I looked at my only level 1 spell.
"Hey 10"
Coming to my cell door I quietly shouted over at the cell across from me my voice bouncing with hidden excitements as I watched a man dressed in similar rags to me come to the doors of the cell across from me.
"What the fuck do you want 8"
Confused at my calling 10 stared at me unaware of what I was about to do.
"Nothing I just think you should go to [Sleep] "
Casting the spell I felt a intense exhaustion sweep over me as I found my self out of breath the next second.
[8...Check passed]
Panting quietly I watched #10 as hr quietly leaned against the bars having fell into a deep slumber.
'Damn, this could be a problem'
Seeing the notification slowly fade I cursed knowing that my skills are luck based, but I did make a good discovery in exchange.
'Seems my spells only take stamina'
This made me glad as it only took seconds for me to regain the expended stamina, meaning I could cast this spell repeatedly in a single day.
With this obvious change to my spells I decided to return back to Mage hand as I attempted to push it's previous limitations starting with the quantity as I attempted to summon 2 Mage hands at the same time and much to my surprise it worked as another Mage hand appeared on my side next to the other one.
'Did they become dimmer?'
Observing the Mage hand I noted that the hands become more translucent and after some testing I was able to roughly guess that the hands are 50% as strong and fast as the previous hand meaning the more thands I summon the weaker each individual hand would become.
After coming to this conclusion I moved on to test the duration of the hands, but after an hour passed without the spell showing any signs of the spell disappearing I gave up as I instead had the hands float in the dark corners of my room there number now 4.
'Now rage...'
Looking at my class main feature, I was abit nervous as I didn't know the extent at which the feature was changed.
'Best not to test it'
Thinking this I instead began to plan the best route of escape something that wasn't to hard to do as the layout of this underground was relatively simple as it was just a main hallway with some branches going off of it.
I know this because it's the route we always take to get to madam z office, but there was one problem standing in between me and the path to freedom.
'Gaurds'
There was atleast a dozen gaurd in my section of this facility alone with dozens or even hundreds more spread out the entire facility.
I was out numbered and out gunned and that was putting it mildly, but I didn't give up as looked out of my cell my Subject 10 am idea sparking in my mind.
'This could work'
With that thought in mind I was ready to start my plan sadly it was never meant to be as before I knew alarms began to blare.
