Chapter 7
Pim stuttered and moved back a little bit optimistic.
"Pimento?" Mrs Linda called, her eyes raving with curiosity for an answer.
"Mrs Linda" Pimento stuttered, shook her head, running out of words.
The whole thing was too surprising for her. Working in the M-M mansion?
"I...I don't know. I can't" She responded dazily, touching her forehead.
"come on Pimento. Please i promise you won't be stressed out. All I need is just someone to make sure Zeoy's safe whenever I'm not around" Mrs Linda said witha mope.
"But...I...I heard there are no female workers in the mansion. I heard-
"Oh, please; don't worry about that. As long as Zoey likes you, everything will be fine. You'll be accepted. Linda cut in.
"Please don't turn me down. I've been in need of this for years now. Zoey has always feel hostility toward all the nannies I got for her and it's a miracle she likes you. so, please, you're the only option I have right now. Just help me out. State your prize. I'm ready to pay any amount you ask for".
Pim inhaled deeply, looked at the kid who was smiling. Oh, damn! "Is this really going to happen? Am I really going to start working in May's house?
How is this even happening?
Pim's really scared and nervous. But with the look on Mrs Linda eyes, she really looked desperate for a babysitter. And with someone like Zoey, Pim's think she'd be fun taking care of.
But still, she felt edgy. How can she do this?
"Pimento" Linda called and took a step forward.
"Please, what do you think? Will you help me out?; just ask me for anything and I promise to give it to you."
"But...wait; did she just say she was ready to do anything I ask for?" Pim guessed.
What if-
"Ma" Pim's called and looked at her.
"If i truly work for you, would you grant me a request?" Pim asked.
."Yes anything.".
Pim's heart suddenly leapt.
Could this be the opportunity she has been wating for?
"What Is it Pimento?" Linda asked again and she gulped nervously.
"Would you have me signed into the Studio?" Pim asked and she looked a little surprised.
"You...you want to sing? She asked and Pim nodded.
Then she smiled.
""Consider it done. You can start training as soon as possible" she replied and Pim eyes dilated in disbelieve.
"Oh, my God!
did she just agree to it?
Do I really have a possibility of becoming singer."

Pim covered her mouth and inhald happily.
"Please, Pim; I'm ready to do more, as long as you agree to help me out" she said and dipped her hand into her bag.
"Here's my card. I'll be waiting for your call" she told Pim as she handed a card to her.
"I hope you take what I said into consideration. Bye" she added and turned to leave.
"Bye" Zoey also said with a wave and left with her mom and the two guards who were there followed them behind.
Pim unconsciously sat on the floor, looking at the card. Everything seemed to happen fast.
She can't believe she really have an opportunity to start working in that house and then get signed in to the studio if she pass the training.

She sat quietly for a long time, thinking about the whole thing.
Although a part of her was scared and anxious, to be sincere, a part was still excited.
If really it works out, then it's going to be an honour getting to be close to Mayor May.
She will get to see her and other top people everyday and maybe even touch them.
May wasn't just a rich ass bitch, she was a top celebrity who is always with other top celebrities. Wealthy celebrities always come to her mansion.

Pim made up her mind. She want to work there. "I want to work in the house. But! Dad must've left for traveling already. Oh, my God!
He's the only one who would've easily granted to it.
I can swear his wife would never agree to such a thing. She would never want something this good for me.

She returned home, feeling despondent. The thought of pleading with her mum to let her go and work in the Mayor's mansion kept quibbling at her as she was sure she'd never agree to it.
She's always been so hard hearted towards Pim and sure she wouldn't want Pim to accept something that good. More over her dad has left the country already.
But, it'd had really been a great thing for Pim if she had worked out. At least, Pim have been saved from the torments of her Mum and kids. She have had a better life.
Pim came out of the car and walked absent mindedly towards the entrance of the house.
Feel so bittered.
She know her life's gonna turn into a living hell again since her dad's no longer around. His wife and kids are definitely going to turn me into their slaves again.
"Oh, God!
What if I just run away?" she thought.
When she got to the door, pim stopped and felt disinclined going in.
She suddenly started imagining all that would happen.
But sighed and touched her forehead. It was beginning to feel hot already.
She slowly placed her hand on the knob of the door. was about turning it when she suddenly heard a masculine voice from inside.
"Huh?
Isn't that dad's voice?"
She quickly opened the door and rushed in and her eyes met with her dad.
"Whaat?
He's still here?
Oh, my thank goodness!"
'Pimento you're back" Mr. Brown said as he rounded up the call he was making.
His wife and kids were there too.
"Dad, I...I thought you were leaving?" Pim asked confoundedly.
"Yes, dear. I am still leaving. My flight just got delayed a little. But I'm about leaving now" he replied and she inhaled a relief.
This is unbelievable!
Pim ran to him and embraced him immediately. He probably doesn't know what his presence means to her.
Mr. Brown felt a little surprised, he still hugged her back.
"Why are you so happy" Fon say but Pimento didn't look at her.
"is everything okay?" Mr. Brown asked as they unlocked from the hug and Pim smiled and nodded.
"I just- I have something important to tell you dad" She hurriedly replied happily.

"What? That's nonsense. I don't like the idea. How do you expect her to work in such a wealthy place?" Mrs Brown said angrily as Pimento rolled her luggage to the sitting room.
"I've told you, hun; she'll be fine. Mrs. Linda has promised to take care of her and that'd be making her dream come true" dad replied, a little depressed.
"But dad" Ling groused.
"How can we be so sure she won't just go out there and bring shame on us?"
"Yes. The Mayor May are the richest models dad, everyone know them in different countries. How can she cope living with them?" Susan also said.
They are all standing, looking so serious.
"By the way, Honey, who's gonna help out in the house chores?
You know she's been of use" Mrs. Brown also added
"I brought Pimento here as our daughter and not a maid. We already have a maid in the house and that should be enough for you!" Mr. Brown replied and turned to Pim.
"Let's go" he said and Pim nodded happily followed him, ignoring the bitter looks his wife and daughters were throwing at her.
"Well, like I always said, with dad by my side, I have nothing to be scared of." Pim smiled.
When she had told him about it, he was a little troubled at first, considering the fact Pim have to be living with someone else.
But after considering the other facts, like being free from his wife and kids, he finally gave it a thought.
Then he placed a video call to Mrs. Linda and they communicated for a short while.
She was very happy to know her offer was acknowledged and she had promised to take good care of Pim.
Mr. Brown and Pim got outside, noticed the car Mrs Linda sent to pick Pim up was already there.
"Be very careful around there, okay? Don't do anything to offend the M-M and others. And don't get into trouble. Okay?" Her dad told Pimento as they stood beside her ride.
Pim smiled and embraced him.
"Thank you dad. I owe you a lot" she told him and he kissed her on the forehead.
"I'll be leaving now. I'm already running late for my flight. See you when I get back" Mr. Brown said and they waved at each other before he left for his car.
Pim stood, watching him as he entered into the car and started driving away.
"I love you dad. And I wish you were really my dad".
She exhaled and entered into the other car and the driver took off immediately.
Wohoo! "I can't believe I'm going to the M-M house, like seriouly, I'm actually going to be the only female worker there.
What would be May reaction haha?
Especially the old lady. What will she do when she sees me there, and May?.
She always dislike females - a reason I'm still trying to figure out.
But, what would her reaction be when he gets to know a girl will be living close to her from now on? Shocking part she know me-
