Until the next day, Xu Fan did not go to the Ninja School.
Although the new sign-in task was limited to three days, Xu Fan couldn't hold back his excitement at the thought of the new sign-in reward.
Danzo had already made up his mind to get rid of him. This failure might only be a temporary setback; he could attempt another attack soon. If assassination did not work, he might resort to other methods such as poisoning.

Thanks to the emblem of the Senju clan, the guards did not turn him away. However, the minimum protocol was still followed, with a guard personally escorting Xu Fan to the Hokage's office.

"Hokage-sama, hello," Xu Fan greeted respectfully as he entered the office.

Just yesterday, Xu Fan had been targeted for assassination by the Root organization. And today, he had come all the way to the Hokage's office... just to add 'Senju' to his name?
And the only change was an extra 'Fan'?
"The name 'Fan' is to remind me not to forget my original intentions. Even if I gain great power, I remain a mere mortal among all living beings," Xu Fan declared solemnly, using the same rhetoric Naruto often employed to persuade the Hokage.
Sarutobi: "???"
When he saw Xu Fan standing at his door, Sarutobi had considered several possibilities. Perhaps Xu Fan was seeking protection from further assassination attempts. Maybe he wanted to file a complaint against Danzo. Or perhaps he sought an explanation for what had happened.
But of all the possibilities, he had never expected that Xu Fan would come here... just to change his name!
For a moment, Sarutobi leaned back in disbelief.
"That's why you came here?"
"Yes, of course." Xu Fan nodded without hesitation, as though this was a serious matter.
After all, having two different names was inconvenient. Merging them was simply more practical.
"And there's one more thing."
Sarutobi sighed. "Now this sounds more reasonable."
"Third Hokage-sama," Xu Fan said firmly, "I want to graduate from the Ninja School early."
"Huh?" Sarutobi's eyebrows shot up in surprise.
"There is nothing left for me to learn there," Xu Fan stated with confidence.
