Chapter 35 - Chapter 34: All of You, Die! All of You, Disappear! All of You, Return to Nothingness!

Was this… really the love child between her and Kobayashi?

As the thought crossed her mind, Tohru's face lit up with excitement.

She then softened her expression, trying to put on what she thought was a warm, motherly smile, and stretched out her slender arms—she was ready to shower her newborn baby with motherly love.

As for why he didn't look like a human infant? Did that seem strange?

What was strange about it? This was the offspring of a human and a dragon.

In Tohru's eyes, it was perfectly normal for him to turn out this way. In her world, there were all sorts of crossbreed beings, some of whom were born looking nothing like conventional infants.

Some even inherited memories from their parents at birth. So his appearance didn't seem odd at all.

Come, feel the love of Mother Tohru!

As for the person about to be attacked—Yazuki—he was still in a daze.

Just a moment ago, he had been wearing the uniform of Sobu High School, walking toward the train station to head home. Then, something fell from the sky, nearly crushing him. And before he knew it, everything had changed—he could feel magic, power, and all sorts of new sensations.

It was as if he had just woken up from a dream about going home.

Wait… no, something wasn't right. His current form—wasn't this the form he had after experiencing everything as one of the Demon Lords of his world? If it was a dream, he shouldn't have woken up like this.

No, no, those memories were too vivid and real. This was definitely not a dream. He had lived through everything—there was no way he couldn't tell reality from illusion.

Then… this dragon-human form…

The next second, an odd sensation made him instinctively reach out and grab at his right cheek—only to find himself pinching an incredibly soft face?

Looking over, Yazuki's lips twitched.

What the hell?

An octopus monster? No—correction, in an instant, he saw through its true nature.

It was a dragon in human form, pursing its terrifyingly stretched-out lips like an octopus, attempting to attack him. He was startled.

"Mmmgh—chuuu-chuuu~"

Even though he had stopped that face from advancing, its octopus-like lips kept stretching closer, saliva dripping down.

So gross!!!

The next moment, Yazuki dodged aside and opened his mouth—biting down on a crimson thunder spear that had formed in the sky like divine punishment.

The spear was over ten meters long, its overwhelming energy distorting space itself—yet he bit into it effortlessly.

Boom—!

The ground roared as the impact from the attack transmitted through his feet, forming cracks that spread out like a shockwave before transforming into a crater resembling the aftermath of a meteorite impact.

A moment later, the sound of something shattering rang out.

Cracks spread from the point where he had bitten the spear, quickly covering its entire surface.

Intense light burst from the cracks, growing brighter and brighter—until, like a helium flash on the sun's surface, it exploded into a blinding light.

A black and lightning-infused sphere expanded outward, engulfing the ground below. The earth was lifted and sent flying, leaving only charred remains behind as arcs of lightning danced across the devastated land.

"What an astonishing lightning attack… at least ten times stronger than the 'Thunder Dragon of Inazuma'!"

Half-covering her face with a folding fan, the Thunder Empress narrowed her ice-blue eyes as she watched the spectacle unfold before her.

Such an attack—how much damage could it possibly inflict upon the otherworldly Demon Lord who had crossed into this world?

"What—?"

A voice of disbelief escaped her lips.

The bizarre lightning sphere did not dissipate like a normal explosion. Its immense energy should have continued expanding for at least another phase—yet instead, it was rapidly shrinking.

In the blink of an eye, it had shrunk to the size of a ping-pong ball—before Yazuki casually bit down on it, making it vanish like a mere bubble.

"Not much of a taste."

Yazuki smacked his lips as he spoke.

Using lightning against him? Did they not realize that, in his current Demon Lord form, lightning was his domain?

That was basically feeding him a power boost.

Oh?

Narrowing his eyes, Yazuki felt several scorching gazes fixated on him.

They were staring at him like he was the most precious treasure in the world.

The first to catch his attention was a gorgeous, blonde woman in extravagant clothing, standing beside a male student in what appeared to be a school uniform. Then, there was a fully armored figure wielding a sword that carried a faintly familiar scent.

Finally, more and more people arrived—most of them casting the same greedy, ravenous look at him as the first three.

Heh…

Interesting.

Did they see him as prey?

Clang!

A sharp screeching sound followed—a fully armored figure in silver lunged at him, wielding a sword that felt oddly familiar. It seemed to pierce through space itself, aiming straight for his head.

Reacting instantly, he extended his dragonized claw, grabbing hold of the blade that was about to slice through space.

Sparks flew as the blade struggled against his grip. Finally, it came to a halt just a centimeter from his pupil.

A grin spread across his face, his eyes radiating savage intent.

Bang—!

"Gahpuh—!"

A deafening impact echoed through the air, followed by an almost comical cry of pain.

The reason?

Yazuki had treated the knight in his grasp like an unbreakable stone and hammered them with his free hand.

Unfortunately, he missed the knight's head and struck the chest instead. The breastplate shattered instantly, sending shards of metal embedding into flesh. A deep dent marred the knight's torso as they were sent hurtling backward like a cannonball.

The impact carved through the ground, bouncing multiple times before finally coming to a stop. The knight barely managed to stabilize themselves by driving their sword into the earth.

Blood seeped from beneath their visor. Clearly, they were gravely injured.

"Guhehe~! As expected from someone who inherited both mine and Kobayashi's superior genes~"

A strangely eerie voice rang out, a statement that sounded both deranged and affectionate.

The source? The very dragon girl he had just headbutted, now gazing at him with an unsettling mix of obsession and motherly love.

Wait… what did she just say?

Did that headbutt scramble her brain?

Ignoring the lunatic for now, Yazuki felt countless burning gazes around him.

He grinned again, baring his teeth like a beast.

"What, do you all think I'm some kind of high-tier boss that drops legendary loot when killed?"

Well, in a way, they weren't wrong. If they managed to take him down, they could claim the ring on his finger—one that even he had no idea how much treasure it held.

They all had to die. Every last one of them. Let them disappear. Let everything return to nothingness. He'd had enough.

Raising his right hand high above his head, a torrent of black and crimson light erupted from his body, piercing the sky.

In the blink of an eye, a colossal magic circle of crackling lightning began forming in the heavens.

With each burst of energy, the very air and space trembled. A faint sound of cracking could be heard—as if the world itself was groaning in agony.
